CPC - Now they really are the 4th Emergency Service!
CPC are the answer to many of my problems that I encounter in my working role as Facilities Manager. Wether we have a squeaky door, failed CCTV camera, or need components to repair an A/C fault, they have it, supply it and quickly too!

Good products, great value, could do better on order tracking
I ordered a number of items and they were all great prices (in some cases 50% cheaper than elsewhere) and they all arrived well packaged and as described.
Only negative is order tracking was a bit lacking. When I ordered the site said "next day delivery" but mine took 3 days. 3 days isn't long to wait, but my expectations had been set higher by the web site.
Also, one item was out of stock and went to back-order. No problem with that, but the email I was sent said it would be in stock next week. When I called up to switch the order to a different product I was told the original product would now take 3 weeks to come in to stock. I'm sure that was new information, but order tracking had not sent me an updated email, which I would have appreciated.
Finally, the replacement product I ordered over the phone turned up the very next day and that was great, but this order didn't show on my account on the web site, which seems odd.
But these are all minor niggles. I would happily use the company again and recommend them to friends. I really liked that they sent me a catalogue too. At over 3500 pages it must have cost them a fortune in postage (which they didn't charge me for) but I had a great time flicking through it, and I'm sure more orders will be the result!

Quick Delivery !
I know that CPC does do next day delivery, but i have had a few times where it's not and the items are in stock. But on this occasion it was the next day via Royal Mail and i was happy with what i got, exactly as described on their website and with free delivery that was a bonus as well.
I have phoned CPC on a couple of occasions and have found them to be very helpful and courteous with the problem being sorted over the phone without fuss.
I would recommend CPC as i like their wide range they have in stock and their next day delivery is a life saver at times. Thanks CPC.

Disappointed.
I go online at app. 17:00 on Thursday. I order only about 6 lines, all would fit in an A4 envelope, done.
I expect UPC at about 11:00 on Friday but they no show. So I look on web site for tracking info but order is still not completed. Bad. This probably means that the order will be sent by Royal Mail, and therefore at least another 2 day delay. Bad, bad.

Fantastic range, good prices, quick delivery
Pros:
Great range, very competitive and fast delivery, normally free. Cashback on Quidco as well.
Cons:
Some products of unknown brands are very basic quality, but priced like that as well. Some product descriptions also poor.

Excellent service at competitive prices
I sometimes have difficulty searching for products on the web site 9 times out 10 I find that I require the exact product code and that word searching often produces nothing The descriptions are quite often wrong example cable clips and sat connectors ordered do not fit the cables ordered with them not a huge problem but annoying when you get to site with the kit and have to go to screw fix to buy the correct clips and terminations
As said before the cost of the gear is so competitive that I can live with this and will continue to use your services
I had a real problem last week I ordered 30 bs 1363 sockets in a rush and the picture showed dual sockets when they arrived all single I realised I had not read the very small printed description
I will eventually use them

An old friend
I have had an account with CPC for ten years. I find them efficient, helpful and friendly. I deal with them by phone and on line but a trip to the Trade Counter in Fulwood is always a pleasure.

Efficient and quick delivery well packaged, what I ordered and good price.
If I what something to be delivered on time and not pay the earth, there is no better place to buy. I don't know anyone who uses CPC who is not impressed with there service..

Fantastically good delivery & Packing
But packing is a bit OTT.
Never-the-less, the Free Postage is a great incentive.
The constant stream of Posted Paper catalogues is a huge waste. Just use an update sheet. Some of these interim catalogurd are are so big and just repeat items that they go straight into the bin.

The handling charge is confusing

We're sorry about the confusion that arrives around the Handling Charge, at the moment the web site does give you the impression that you'll be charged, but you won't be. We can also confirm that on this order you weren't.
Clicking the free delivery banner on the site gives you a detailed explanation as to what to expect with this.
We do realise that this isn't an ideal situation and are currently working on amending the site to show the proper information, again - Apologies for any confusion that you have experienced with this.

Competent Performance Continuously.
That is what I expect and what I get everytime with CPC.
In all the years that I have dealt with the company I have never had cause to complain or to return any item.
My only wish is that you offer free delivery on telephone orders as I enjoy chatting with you very helpful and competent young ladies and would hate it if any of them lost their jobs because of internet usage.

Fast efficient transaction and delivery
I am developing an application, around a Raspberry Pi, and I wanted some parts to assemble a hardware interface. I spent some time selecting appropriate parts from a fairly comprehensive product list and ordered them online. I made use of the shopping basket which kept track of the items in my basket, over a number of visits to the website. Once complete, ordering was straightforward and delivery prompt in suitable protective packaging.

CPC Deliver Again
We have been ordering from CPC for many years and they constantly deliver. Many of our projects have gone live because of the numerous "behind the scenes" items required - data & video cables, batteries, keyboards & mice etc. CPC delivery is very very reliable and we rely on them. On the odd occassion when we have had a problem, their Customer Care is second to none as they always ensure customer satisfaction - thats why we go back!

Pretty good experience this time!
A little disappointed that one item wasn't in stock, but CPC informed me via email quickly that this was the case...item still hasn't arrived 3 weeks later though. The PVA adhesive had leaked on route meaning it was only half full on arrival-and the bag it came in was 'messy', but no further harm done. I decided not to contact CPC about this because i didn't want to have to wait in another day to swop items.
The delivery driver who usually delivers to me ( 'Peter' at UPS)is a smashing chap-always seems cheerful and helpful!

Fantastic Product, Fantastic Price and Fantastic Service
Having placed my order via the internet I was expecting to wait for my 44 drawer cabinet to arrive in the next few days, I was really surprised when it turned up within 48 hours. Well packaged and no damage to be found, a really good service indeed. The same, reliable service - and appropriate packaging
I always enjoy good service from CPC, but a little more thought into packaging would make the experience better. They sometimes dispatch items in cartons far too big for the item within and then pack it full of air-filled padding which my council will not recycle.
I am liking the current FREE delivery offer, though!
UPDATE. My recent order arrived in a Jiffy Bag which was ideal for the goods within.
