Having had problems with this company in the past, I was offered a gushing apology and an immediate refund. With this in mind I decided to risk using them again, as I needed some labels in a hurry and they already had my details. They advertise as offering a 48 hour service but THIS IS NOT TRUE. I even paid for expediated delivery because I was in a real rush. A week has gone by with no labels, but more importantly, no communication or acknowledgement regarding the delay, and when I finally got through on the phone I was told by 'Gaynor' that, 'oh yes, I can see the order. We will get that out to you tomorrow. It will probably be with you on Monday'. I even had to explain that I'd paid extra for faster delivery, but that this was told that this wasn't possible. There was a delay because it is a 'busy time of year'. I also run a business; this is not acceptable service. AVOID THIS COMPANY. The products are as good as anywhere else, but the service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
We ordered our cards on Tuesday 12th at 4.30pm. We paid extra for the express delivery service eg manufactured and delivered within 48 hours. This is did not happen nor do I think does this service exist as when I called to complain they didn’t know or care.
It is now Monday at 12.40pm and still no delivery. That’s a total of 144 hours… Just called, they will apparently arrive tomorrow..Hopefully it will now arrive within a week…
I've used 123Print two times now for business cards.
They are, as far as I can tell, one of the cheapest providers for business cards, and one of the few that'll allow you to order as little as 50 at a time.
As with everything though, you get what you pay for. Both of my orders have had printing that looked on the lower end of professional. For the price they charge though, it was acceptable and expected.
They also hide the postage cost away from all their advertising and ordering process until the very last moment. Both times I have selected the cheapest postage, and they were sent via Royal Mail 2nd class, but I was charged a much higher fee than it would have cost 123Print to post it, so keep that in mind.
Overall though, it's still good for the price. The website's design tools are well designed and easy to follow and both of my orders have arrived quickly, as were as ordered. I'll be ordering from them again in the future.
I am writing with a complaint. Bit of a long one so strap yourself in.
Firstly, please take a look at the email I received from yourselves on the 13/10/2013. Looks really professional and positive doesn't it! I love the way that you lure the consumer into a false sense of security by confirming things that you have no intention of doing. As customer service goes, you really do think outside of the box!
Let's have a look at the first part.
You have the address correct. Well done you! Browny points. Take a moment to drink it all in. Something on your confirmation email is correct.
"You have selected UPS Ground on your order, which will take between 4 and 8 business days to deliver. Factoring in weekends and holidays, you can expect your shipment to arrive between October 18 - October 24, 2013."
That's right - you can expect your shipment to arrive between October 18 - October 24, 2013.
Well guess what. I didn't!
So imagine my mirth and discombobulation when I call your oh so helpful customer service department only to be told that you hadn't even printed the cards. That's right. You took my money and in return you did (drum roll please) absolutely nothing. Imagine all the swear words I want to shout, but I understand that someone needs to be professional and it's not going to be you.
So when I was told that the shipping would be refunded I decided, let's give them another go. People make mistakes. It couldn't possibly get any worse could it? Or could it?
It got worse!
Early last week I got a package from yourselves. Opened it up and found half of my order. The cards looked really nice.
"My god, they actually can provide a mediocre service." I thought, "Next time I'll upgrade to dismal."
I had half my order, the other half is probably winging it's way to me.
Days went by.... Nothing arrived. Not a thing.
So this brings me neatly onto part three.
The order summary:
It may be a good idea that you look at the order that you confirmed and try to meet it at some point. You have taken my money and shown that you don't care. You have no intention of providing a service that could even be called adequate. You owe me 200 cards which I have paid for.
You have until Friday to deliver. Or you could make some lame excuse. Maybe you did print them but a careless worker spilt vimto all down them. Maybe a stray dog got into the factory and ate them. Maybe your staff got abducted by aliens. Maybe your doing the whole order by hand and your felt tips have dried up. Or maybe you can't simply be bothered.

Please, please do send me my order. Pretty please? Do you want blood out of a stone? Do you want to see me cry? What do you want?
Please do let me know what the hell you intend to do about any of this. Please don't think you can get away with sorry because you can't. This service is a joke which is why I am treating it as such. Stop ripping small businesses off and do some ******* work.

For the second time, after having placed a order with this company, I have been waiting for almost a month for my order, with no explanation or reply to my contact via email on their website. I won't be using them again.
I liked the help I was given on the phone when I had a problem with the type of lettering I had chosen.
I was happy with the fast service and the email update, my cards are now personal and professional and at a good price.
I loved my business cards they came quickly and to a good standard i would definitely reccomend them.
I couldn't believe how quickly my business cards arrived, I received them less than 48 hours after placing the order. Designing them was really easy, there are so many templates to choose from & you can change the layout to how you like it. The print quality was excellent. The only thing I would say is the print looks a bit smaller on the cards than it does on your pc when doing the layout so next time I will make the print a bit bigger but that is the only bad bit about it. I would highly recommend this company.
They were really friendly, excellent at communicating and quick to turn my designs into brilliant business cards that I was happy to give out to a room full of delegates at a charity ball. Brill!
Found our save the date cards here, they were simple but effective. Very easy to order and arrived in the post quick as a flash! Only downside was I wish I could have ordered business sized envelopes with them.
arrived two days late. but the card were of good quality.
In both time that I have called customer service the reaction and the service was exceptional.
This is the 3rd time that I am purtcasing items from 123Print and I am a very satisfied customer. I am definately recommending and I will continue to order products from this company!
l have had printed 50 address cards to let you all know my new abode. they are excellent quality and well worth the money although they were not expensive.
As a technophobic I did the invitations to our wedding celebration party all by myself- even my husband- to- be was impressed! It was great - an easy format to follow,easy instructions and everyting turned out great. Would recommend this company and will be using them again - excellent service all round.
ordering was nice and easy, had a fab range of designs to choose from and was a completly stress free process from start to finish!
Order arrived on time and was as expected - no nasty surprices
My order was placed on 27/08/13 when I had not received it by 05/09/13 I queried the whereabouts of the order, bearing my mind their 2day shipping claim. I hadn't heard anything back by Friday 06/09/13 so I chased them again to be told that the order was ready but had missed that days courier collection and would be sent on Monday 09/09/13. The delay was blamed on a machine breakdown and I was told that their marketing dept should have let me know.
However on Monday 09/09/13 I was told that the order had been lost by the courier but had been re-printed and was being re-sent to me and I would get it the following day. Unsurprisingly I was amazed that the courier had lost the parcel and they had re-printed the order all in one day!! Also they had neglected to check that their couriers offer a 24hr/next day delivery service to my area, and surprise surprise they don't.
I have used 123print in the past and the service was reasonable and the quality ok, but those cards were of a simple print on a white background, this time I choose a more compicated double-sided design with a coloured background and shiny finish.
When I eventually received this order the print definition was poor and the finish different on the front and back and I feel was not value for money.
In summary if I was to ignore the delivery delays and the differing reasons given by various members of 123print's staff, I would not use them again and would recommend that people go elsewhere for their printing requirements.
We searched online for a company to produce a save the date postcard personalisd with a phot of ours for our wedding. We found 123print to be the best out there for us. We have since used them for the wedding invitations, the thank you cards, our first christmas cards and now for thank you cards following the birth of our first baby! Will definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends.
Very pleased with the business cards. They arrived within the time frame stated. The colours have come out beautifully and very clear. Very happy and will certainly re-order more when required. 123print is (as far as I can tell) the cheapest place to get business cards when I researched into other providers but the quality is still top of the range.
I had been looking online at various different business cards however the standard of designs and images offered on 123print were much higher than all other sites I visited. They also offer the same designs in landscape or portrait cards, and so you do not have to limit yourself to designs depending on which style of card you want. The designing aspect is very straight forward and it is very easy to edit or add text and different information to suit. The only negative point I found was the postage and packaging price is quite high based on the product you are buying, and you do not find this out until you have designed your cards. However, it is worth the price as the cards are great quality and were delivered within 7 days. Great product, I would definitely use 123print again!
