This is by FAR the worst service and customer service I have ever experienced. If only I had read the reviews prior to ordering. With a name like 999ink you would expect a swift and helpful service but do not be fooled by the name. Incompetent, dishonest, rude, unhelpful and 100% disappointing. DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH 999INKS!!!!!
Ordered, paid and received inks quickly, then the problem began. The cartridges were not recognised by my printer, spent ages online to their customer service dept, who confirmed the inks were the right ones for my printer. They eventually said would email a "Return Merchandise Authorisation" to me, as per their Terms & Conditions, for a refund. That was 2 days ago and I am still waiting. Wished I had read the reviews here first as at the moment short of going to their address, which I could do, can't see a refund being forthcoming anytime soon.
I order some inks on 30th January, two of cartridges leaked immediately - I ask for a complete refund. It took them two weeks to reply to my email. Still no refund and any communication. I would not touch these guys with a barge pole. Now considering using the small claims service.
I paid specifically for next day guaranteed delivery by 1pm as we had an urgent print job which needed to go out the next day. Nothing arrived by 1pm the next day, nor at any time the next day. When I rang to ask where it was the customer service representative said 'it might come tomorrow' which was terribly poor service. I was only hold for ages on a premium 0845 customer services number (which they make money from), incidentally and unsurprisingly, heir sales number is an 0800 number which they answer very quickly. I had a similar problem the last time I used 999 inks but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time. I won't be using them again, and I certainly would never recommend them. They might be cheap, but so are their service levels.
Having received a replacement cartridge I had not even printed 20 pages when a 5cm print gap appeared in the centre of printed sheets. I spoke to their "customer service" and was emailed a to do list including shaking the cartridge. I managed to print 1 faded page. The next day Ineeded to print airline boarding passes and the print gap had increased to 15cm. Customer services told me they would email me a freepost mail link and for me to send the cartridge back for them to repair or replace. I said Ineeded one now and they should send a replacement cartridge and I would return the faulty one. No, their conditions of sale don't allow this but I could pay for a replacement and they would refund me when they got the other one back ! My advice is simple don't do business with this crowd !!
I placed an order for 3 cartridges and went to put one in my printer and it didn't fit properly. On looking at the number on the box, it didn't match the one I had ordered. I rang their customer services and was told this was the correct cartridge even though it wasn't the same as I had ordered. The guy also told me to try "fitting" it in several times and to try putting in the other cartridges to see if they worked! To which I replied was I supposed to waste all the cartridges trying to get one to work!!! and he said YES!! From now on I will just order from a reputable supplier even if I have to pay a bit extra
I needed an emergency supply of ink so ordered over £200 worth and paid 8.95 for Next Day Delivery Before 1pm. I received an email confirming that my order had been accepted and payment was taken. I received another email this morning confirming that my package had shipped. It's now 2pm and no package. I rang the company only to be told that firstly, it's with their courier and there's nothing they can do, and secondly, only 2 cartridges were sent (I ordered 12). To add insult to injury, the woman I spoke to was rude, patronising and refused to pass me on to her supervisor. I'm absolutely livid!. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
UPDATE: It's now 9th Feb and I've yet to receive my full order and haven't been refunded... pathetic! I've opened a case against them in Paypal
No response from them! almost 2 weeks later I received my cartridges to find out they were the WRONG ONES! Then they wanted me to send them back with my OWN money wasting MY time! Sent them back and NOTHING!!! DO NOT USE!!!! Like the guy said below me "JMB2009" Pay a little bit extra to get better cartridges and service! I have been using a company called 4ink.co.uk and haven't had ANY problems! They are brilliant!
I ordered some ink cartridges/paper for my Canon Selphy printer weeks ago. They took immediate payment, delivery was fine, but then they sent me the wrong goods. I have sent numerous emails, they responded once requesting they needed more details and I have not heard anything since. I am going to allow them another forty eight hours for them to respond to me before contacting my bank and seek further advise. My advise would be, if you do not want this to happen to you, then I strongly advise you to use a well known supplier, even if you have to pay a little extra.
