Outstanding customer services, delivery and communications from acdctv.
I have nothing for praise for acdctv and I will happily use them again.
I purchased the 24" 12v Satellite TV Cello Traveler w/ DVD USB Freeview for my motor-home. The good points;
1 Slim bezel makes it a very small case for a full 24" screen.
2 Light weight risks less damage due to vehicle movement. Mine pushes back into Velcro (self-adhesive) for transit, stops all bouncing.
3 Easily auto-tunes DTV and ATV
4 Easily auto-tunes satellite
5 Region free DVD player works wall on region 1 & 2 (all I had)
6 HDMI input superb
7 Headphone out superb, this goes through a small stereo amp which is still controlled by the TV remote.
I have not used any of the other facilities yet, but I am sure they all do exactly what they are supposed to do.
There is one fly in the ointment and that is the sorting of the satellite channels. It does not sort them the way any other satellite receiver or freesat TV I have seen does it. It does not ask for your Post Code, so you do not have local channels prioritised. For instance, I live in Basingstoke, but the first BBC1 and BBC2 channels are for Northern Ireland. My local channels are about channels 68 and 166. All my other freesat devices put my local BBC1 at 101, BBC2 at 103, ITV1 at 103, etc. I find this irritating and have gone back to a separate freesat tuner. If you do this, My Grundig and Bush freesat remotes are incompatible with Cello, and change things on the TV and the TV remote changes things on the freesat boxes.
I am sure this sorting problem is only a software or firmware problem. I think everything else on the set is superb and I have no intention of returning. I do hope Cello will take this on board and send out a software/firmware update. This almost seems like "spoiling a ship for a ha'p'orth of tar”.
This product is a winner, it just needs the channel sorting resolved, having said that, they are all there, but can be awkward to find..

Does what it says on the box and some !
We asked about the t.v , response was fast . Ordered and paid easily done and due to Xmas posting didn't expect it but delivery within 48 hours . Arrived well packed , but box opened and no remote ! Called straight away and yes super response , e-mailed any way as couldn't check tv working without remote . Remote arrived following morning and tv works brilliantly ,will be keeping them in mind for future purchases .

Pay more and get more
The TV sound system failed within a few weeks and this appears to be a common fault. The TVs should be upgraded before sale rather than sell and repair later.
The repair was reported and fixed very expeditiously.

Prompt service, great product
The TV seems very good, the power consumption is good and the unit works well on my battery-based system. The PVR works well enough, and the sound quality is ok although there are a few issues with the EPG which seems a bit patchy.
Overall = good.

Efficient and enthusiastic with very good after sales support
Having bought a Cello Traveller 19" TV plus a crank-up satellite dish for our trusty Motorhome, I was very careful to follow the fitting instructions to the millimetre and think this paid off as it works smoothly as well as being easy to point in the right direction with the help of a phone app. We live in the north of Scotland and it works perfectly, provided a beautiful mountain is not in the way. The Cello TV is a great product but unfortunately, the one delivered to us developed a picture fault, ie a permanent thin line right down the screen, which was irritating to say the least. ACDCTV gave me the number for Cello support and all seemed well when collection for the faulty set was arranged. However, I waited 2 weeks and each time I contacted Cello, they had no answer for when the set would be replaced. Eventually I contacted ACDCTV and they were extremely helpful as well as being somewhat annoyed with Cello service, and arranged the delivery of a new TV immediately. Thanks to ACDCTV, our Motorhome outings are now a scene of relaxation and joy, glass in hand, telly on.
