Competitive and helpful
I have only given them 3 out of 5 based upon the confusion around commencement date, the sending out of a form completely blank when it would have been easier for just the bits necessary to be highlighted.
The original quote was for an annuity based upon open market option whereas Canada Life wanted to do it as an immediate vesting pension. This required fresh application forms.
Having said that our contact at Age Partnership quickly put matters right with an updated form and this was then processed quickly.

Check out other companies if you like, but you'll find that your final choice will be to go with Age Partnership.
They operate with knowledgeable, forthright and honest employees who explain exactly what you need to know and give you ALL of the information, “pros & cons”, that you need so that you can make an informative, balanced decision. They don’t push you into anything!
Their manner is always friendly, polite and respectful – everything you would expect from a professional organisation. They know how to treat people on their own level without being condescending or dismissive. They listen and respond with patience.
They were diligent in keeping us fully informed at all steps of the process.
Transactions were carried out to our timescale without feeling that we were pressurised in any way.
A good experience all round. I would not hesitate to recommend Age Partnership to anyone.

Producing a painless experience with better than hoped for results
Buying an annuity from Age Partnership went really well. Speed of response and clarity of information provided was excellent. The rates achieved were significantly better than two other brokers we approached, who were slow and labourious to deal with.
Only two minus points were stream of email 'offers' triggered by website visits and
a marked slow down in updating us with progress in what transpired to be the final week of the process.
My score for Age Partnershpwould be 9 out of 10.

well as you know I wasn't sure about equity release...you hear such things...anyway from start to finish "they" were so helpful, non pushy and showed they had my best interest at heart. I checked it all out with the family.it will let me do the jobs on the house and help the boys and family...so we all win...and the process was really quick and efficient......close all the shops I am coming!!!!!

As reliable as the Rock of Ages
When looking for the best annuity return on my Stakeholder Pension I got estimates from a number of web sites. Not only was estimated pension via Age Partnership the largest, they were also the quickest to follow up my enquiry. Literature arrived virtually by return post and the Annuity Adviser rang me at the time promised. The Adviser was extremely informative and dealt with all queries thoroughly and professionally. Once the paperwork was completed, Age Partnership arranged for a courier to collect the required proofs of identity, which were returned by Special Delivery within two days. The processing of the paperwork was completed within a week and I received my tax free lump sum a week later.
I have been extremely impressed with the efficiency and professionalism
demonstrated by Age Partnership throughout the whole process and would recommend them to anyone seeking to get the best possible returns on an annuity.

Recommend without hesitation
I don't know very much about pensions and annuities, but my wife found Age Partnership on the web when it was time to sort out her pension - she told me they were good, so when it came time to do my pension I went straight to them. I must say they are very good - they are professional, patient and polite. If they say they will do something, they do it. If they say they will call back on a certain date and time, they do so. I found them to be very helpful, very clear in their explanations and most importantly they got a good result for me arranging my pension provision. Great service and I recommend them.

Good outcome with no hassle
Age Partnership just talked me through all the steps I needed to consider before decidnig on my annuity, found me a good deal (I compared it with another company and with on-line comparison sites) and were not phased when I changed my mind about some the choices I had made. It was straightforward with all the bureaucratic hassle done by them, not me.

You only get one chance to get your retirement right and Age Partnership have proved to be that 'right choice'
Age Partnership have proved to be very good at communication and this is so important when it comes to what can be a quite bewildering time to make important decisions. However, there were a couple of hiccups along the way. (1) I was sent incorrect forms to complete. (2) After receiving the lump sum payment had to enquire when annuity payments commenced. Age Partnership contacted Hodge Lifetime and were informed that they were 'awaiting confirmation' that I had accepted the new quote. These queries were soon resolved by new forms being emailed to me for completion and Age Partnership confirming they hadn't realised they had to accept the new quote on my behalf as they don't normally deal with Hodge Lifetime but immediately apologised to me and did accept new quote ensuring payment still came out this month. Also the first payment was received tax free although Age Partnership said it would be taxed (tax is to be taken later apparently). Overall really satisfied with Age Partnership as all queries seem to have been sorted out. Customer reference number 943465

Very good all round service!
I was in a difficult situation at work and ended up taking early retirement. I didn't feel confident about the process and wasn't sure I could afford it! As soon as I contacted AP I found the person on the phone to be helpful and sympathetic. It took several weeks before I finally decided to cash in my pension but there was never any pressure put on me and in the end AP got me a very good deal!

I was approached by a number of companies saying they could help me with my pension annuity. I selected Age partnership because they were the only company that followed up on their promises. I found every member of staff that i dealt with from the first phone call to the last to be friendly and helpful.
Good customer service is hard to come by these days but I was trully impressed by AGE PARTNERSHIP. Well done! I would recommend you.

When your private pension is about to mature I would seriously reccomend you using Agepartnership. They are efficient friendly and deliver excellent results. Never simply accept your original pension provider's quote.

Age Partnership were very helpful with my initial enquiry before I was ready to proceed with equity release. When I decided to go ahead, they explained every step and patiently answered my questions. Importantly, they laid out the pros and the cons, several times and were concerned that I should be as fully informed as possible when reaching a decision. We had a great experience with Age Partnership, they were quick with their responses, and most importantly no one was pushy as that's a real turn off. We felt we could have said no at any time before signing.

I was a bit apprehensive about dealing with Equity Release over the telephone and online rather than dealing face to face with someone in my own home.
