Excellent Sales and After Sales Service
I recently bought a Meaco Dehumidifier (DD8LJ) from airconcentre. Upon arrival I discovered the unit had a damaged water tank (appears to have been damaged at manufacture or original packing stage). I called airconcentre to to get this sorted out with metaphorical boxing gloves laced up - fully prepared for the usual banal "customer service" conversation. Instead I was told:
- To replace the whole unit would require a reorder from the manufacturer which would take significant time. [Ok this is what I am expecting, blood pressure increases and metaphorical right hook poised]
- To speed things up airconcentre would just post out a new component (water tank) from another stock item and sort out any reorder with the maufacturer later. [Erm.... really, somewhat disarmed but I'll believe it when I see it]
The replacement arrived at no cost to me within one working day and the unit has worked perfectly since...
......After being through a number of issues with other vendors / service providers recently this was a breath of fresh air that not only was a pragmatic solution on offer but it was followed up immediately with the replacement arriving before I realistically expected it! ...Now, could you just have a word with my broadband, utilities & banking providers about how customer service shoud be managed please?!!!

friendly helpful people, did a pretty good job
very obliging people (human beings!) It was important to us to have agreeable people about the house for 10 to 14 days plus.
Made the odd mistake, but put it right with minimum of fuss

What an Outstanding service
I bought Delonghi DNC65 AriaDry Light Dehumidifier (DNC 65) on 9 December 2012 and it arrived in 3 days. I got this model because of the size and weight for my mum as she is 62 years old. As soon as it arrived mum plug it in straight away with not even reading the instructions, when it started-up it is just like having a fan on. Mum had damp in 4 of her rooms. We left it on in one of the rooms for 10 hours the wall was bone dry. We measured the water in the tank it was 3.6 litres and the other 3 rooms was just over 3 litres. Thank you very much.

Best dehumidifier ever.
Best ever, could do with bigger water tray though, very effective even under high humidity it clears the rooms nicely. Lots of operation choices and on trickle its extremly quiet. Excellent dehumidifier, arrived next day great service and great product
Required dehumidifier to reduce condensation and damp in an outhouse/workshop duiring winter months. De humidifier is switched on from 9:00am until 4:00 pm humidity has been reduced fom 98% to 65% with no water dripping from ceilings and windows and no damp patches. A slight warming effect is also a bonus, using less energy with not having to heat moisture laden air..
Have recommended the unit to friends who are in a similar situation to myself.

excellent website, good product
I ordered two dehumidifiers from Airconcentre, the site was easy to use and i was able to pay on paypal. They were received the next day as promised by a very friendly delivery person. No complaints, excellent product and I would use the website again and recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent product, excellent service
The dehumidifier came within a couple of days very speedy especially when other websites quoted a 3 week wait at least. product has really worked well and is not too noisy. Collected a lot of water so far more than I would ever have expected

As an owner of a dehumidifier, as I was recently introduced to high humidity levels due to a move to Cumbria from sunny Norfolk, I knew that my daughter needed one in her London flat to dry laundry and thus reduce condensation. I also work in an historic house so am aware of the various types and their uses. Given this knowledge I wanted to have a conversation with someone who could not only listen and advise, but also appreciate that my budget was limited. The other criteria was delivery to the flat whilst I happened to be there over the next day. Not only did all that happen, but it was done with professionalism and efficiency.

Excellent first order experience
Was quoted locally more than double the price these guys have their Haverland rads available at. Must be one of the lowest prices available online. Ordering was very easy, coms were great, was told exactly what was happening with delivery. Delivered quickly and on time. Very impressed both with the service, experience and products received. Efficient and value for money
After searching for suppliers on the internet, I found and selected airconcentre for my purchase because they were value for money. After the transaction, the goods arrived promptly and were installed the next day. I am now able to keep the bathroom moisture levels under control.

Absolutely excellent
The ordering process was easy. Aftersale service was immeadiate. Collection of a faulty unit was faultless and precision timed as was the return replacement unit. It has been an experience which is currently sadly unique. Tell the rest of the country how you do it!

What a difference our dehumidifier has made!
Our dining room is half underground and always used to get a bit musty over the summer, with the heating not on, but we could live with it. This wet year the musty smell from cushion covers and suchlike became absolutely disgusting. A neighbour said we must get a dehumidifier and showed us his. He lent us his hygrometer. It registered 68–70. I did a bit of investigation on 'Which?' to learn about what dehumidifiers do and then we followed his advice and got one like his but a slightly later model. It was gratifying to empty the full bucket every day for the first few days. What we had not expected was that the ioniser would make such a difference. Within a few hours we noticed how much nicer the air was to breathe! We wonder how we had lived with the horrible musty air for so long — we and our guests!
