I went onto a comparison website and put in a few details of the travel insurance i required and i then received numerous quotes. After checking around i came to the conclusion that Annualtravelinsurance was by far the best on offer.
Online purchase was very simple and easy. I have made no contact with the Insurance company. And so,I cannot comment further.
Bought policy after seeing the company recommended on a consumer site. have just renewed and am very satisfied.
I have used Annualtravelinsurance for several years and have found their publicity clear and their website user-friendly. Their policies are easy to understand without haveing to trawl through acres of small print, Thankfully, as yet I have never had to make a claim.
WOULD RECOMMEND , THE COVER WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE.
Went on to get a single trip policy but took an annual one as the prices were great and i have looked at a lot of sites this is best and the cover is tops

I recently purchased the all singing and dancing Super + cover from Annual Travel Insurance.
It appears a good policy with excellent cover which for the money it is until you look at the detail and the 8 "Extras" 8 sections T. U. V. W. X1 .X2. X3. and Y plus the asterisk at the very bottom with exemptions you either don't get or have to pay extra for and the Cover (Upto) in the description. For instance the Personal Money is boldly stated as £1000 in the "Summery". Of course small print is all in these types of policy. Even in the SUPER + cover the Personal money cover is very much less, the £1000 is spread out between cards, cash, coins , travel cheques ect. In other words one could say this is more than a little misleading. But Insurance companies have been doing this sort of thing for years. It's nothing new.
Wouldn't it be refreshing to purchase an all singing all dancing policy that does what it purports to do. How many millions of travelers a year have not got the cover they thought they had when traveling away from home. Isn't it about time we had a refreshing change to this whole industry and many other service industries the poor public are subjected to in the UK.
I needed annual travel insurance and found this easy to purchase.
Looked up quotes for annual travel insurance on the comparison website compare the market dot com and this company jumped out at us as it suited our needs.
The excess amount is very reasonable and the cover is adequate.

Annualtravelinsurance have been recommended by Which. I have taken out holiday insurance for the 2nd year running with this company and have found them to be reasonable and good value. I have also been happy with the service they have given when I have phoned them.
My wife and I wanted a multi-trip insurance, since we are planning a round the world, that included USA. Insurance quote ok, but medical screening not. An error was made where cancer hormone treatment was classed as HRT and a £30 premium. When a clarification was sought, the premium for screening went up to £130. Since my wife has had no cancer diagnosis for 8 years, this made to total package unacceptable.
Everything good except cost of phone calls. Should have a Freephone number because of time spent on phone. Staff very helpful and pricing very competitive.
Dead easy! I had to phone re a pre-existing medical condition and the agent was polite friendly and helpful. STRAIGHTFORWARD AND STRESS FREE.
Couldnt believe how reasonable travel insurance could be for us! Have been with same Co for few years, yes I know - should have researched it!! Delighted with annual cost with this Co & also ease of application process (husband has medical issues to declare) annual cost is soooo much cheaper now. We are frequent travellers to Europe. Was in a rush to book annual insurance, online took a few moments the documents arrived within minutes to print off and I was ready to go, I forgot to disclose my asthma so rang the help line number I was dealt with quickly and efficiently no extra charge and letter within a couple of minutes o confirm I was covered at no extra charge.

No problems with Annual Insurance but needed cover for medical conditions so I phoned the number given paid £40 for cover then have heard nothing since
I looked on internet found this company is reasonable with cost in mind. they have 0844 number to contact them & is expensive per minitue,, sent email to them to ring me as I am interested to buy this travel insurance , they rang me as per my time requested, staff is very good & friendly, even waive postage charge & send me a all documents by post .Thank you very much for that . please change your contact number as 0844 is expensive to use, local std number is good to contact & cheaper with call planning package with service provider.people do think about all these call charges when comparing with others. Had to make a name change due to typing error and this was done in the morning after I sent an email late at night/early hours in the morning.
Then I made an enquiry by email about whether my Avios (airmiles) that I used to pay for a holiday are covered by the policy if I made a cancellation-received an email after they tried to phone me. Unfortunately, Avios are not covered.
Being older does not mean having to slow down or take things easier, live the life your only here the once. travel, dress, eat and drink to your hearts content. Shopping on line gives you the extra time to do the things you want to do.

Excellent price efficient in emailing documents. Hope we don't need to use it travelling in June and November
I dont have a printer on my laptop so have repeatably asked for the documents
to be sent by post which seems a reasonable request by me. I am now asked
for more money to get documents posted to me which to me is unbelieveable.
I hope I never have to make a claim on this insurance policy.
Hi I purchased Annual Travel insurance from you, but haven't been sent any documentation by email or post yet? I clicked away from the purchase page and that was it, today iwas going to check Bank statements to see if indeed I had bought anything. Please send an email or paperwork through.

Only took 10 minutes to sort out - much quicker than Post Office
I bought annual travel insurance and the on-line purchase was quick, easy and very straightforward. The only problem I had was downloading the paperwork but will have to manage with an electronic version.
I don't know what the firm will be like if I have to make a claim but hopefully that won't be a problem. If I do have any problems in the future I will let you know.

As a fit 67 year old finding a good value insurance seemed a problem but Annualtravelinsurance fitted the bill.

Very straightforward, no nonsense competeitve cover . Clear instruction on how to proceed with a declareable health problem. Good phone transference between the separate parties. Very obliging as after I paid I switched from single trip to full year but no drama. I have every reason to believe that should I have a genuine and reasonable problem, it will be handled in an efficient and fair manner
One of your colleagues rang me to say that My partner had paid for one set of insurance twice and would be reimbursed which was appreciated. However I was annoyed that an admin charge of £3.95 was applied just to change the dates on the other insurance. Something that took your operator about 30 seconds.
