I bought an item before Christmas and was delivered fine. I then ordered another couple of matching items and this time there was a 5 week delay followed by claims they were delayed, would or had delivered it to random people on different dates. Sometimes they would answer the phone, sometimes not and always had to "come back to me". Thankfully I bought with PayPal and was protected. Ended up buying the same products on ebay instead (delivered in 2 days). DO NOT risk it with this group. It was all a bit sketchy
Bad for your blood pressure - the most incompetent on line company I have ever dealt with ! They bank your money before order fulfilment meaning you will have a fight to get a refund when (as they surely will) not supply what you have ordered. Emails unanswered, promises broken for non delivery - don't be swayed by a flashy web site (but check some of the syntax on the pages for a clue) It's a miracle Visa allows them to keep a merchant account running (but thank God for Section 75 refunds - you will be needing it)
Possibly the worst experience I have ever had as a customer for any company. Attractive website, reasonable offers but poor quality materials, damaged goods, poor delivery service and absolutely abysmal Customer Service. 4 months trying to get a refund for a broken sink. Made numerous calls to their CS dept and emails but never had a call back and the attitude to customers is absolutely astounding. Seems strange that for a relatively small shop they apparently need 12 people in their Customer Service department I found out.

How I wish I had seen the other reviews of Aqva Bathrooms before I parted with my money!! My goods have not been received and I just get replies from them saying that the manufacturer is 'investigating' the delivery. On the phone they are offhand and do not even listen. I ordered a Roca ceramic shower tray from Aqva on 6 Jan 2014 on a 5 day delivery however I'm still waiting for it 7 weeks later !!!!. I have contacted customer service many times but like others I have been given the run arround with lots of excuses and several false delivery promises. Latest delivery date is mid March which is 14 weeks after the order was placed but Im not holding my breath for it. What ever you do DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this company or you'll live to regret it
Bought a bath off this company in January 2014, when the plumber went to put the bath in, the screws went straight through the centre leg of the bath. The screws were too long, and when we measured them against the bath, the screws measured 25mm and the wood on the bottom of the bath was only 15mm, and the bath is 5mm thick acrylic. It has taken them a month to decided that they will send us a new bath out of a good will gestures, however I refused to accept that as it was their fault in the beginning and I had to go out and buy a new bath. There is no point of them sending me another bath now as it is a month too late and we have already installed a bath. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
I bought a set of bath taps, I was told on their website it was in stock and took 4-6 days.
As soon as I made my purchase I received an email saying it would infact take 4-6 weeks. Naturally I wanted to cancel the order right away and be refunded.
After several weeks of been given the runaround by their staff (making stories that they are still awaiting confirmation that the goods would not be sent out by the supplier - very rude and explaining it was my fault and I should not have made the purchase in the first place) I then contacted the supplier to write to them and 'bcc' me in explaining the order had been cancelled.
Finally after over 3 weeks I did receive a full refund. Totally incompetent in my view!
We ordered several items on 5.12.13 for a bathroom to be fitted before Christmas. It stated delivery would be in approx 4 days. Immediately after the order was placed and payment made, emails started arriving saying different bits of the order would be delivered up to 2 months later!. When I asked for cancellation and refund, I was told this was not possible as some items had been dispatched, and I would have to return them. The toilet pan and seat arrived on 12/12/13 but I was informed the cistern would not arrive until 24/02.14 !! There was no mention in the website description that the toilet would come as two separate components! I eventually managed (after numerous emails/calls) to get the toilet pan picked up for refund, but still despite endless calls and unanswered emails have not had a refund for my goods. Do not go near this company. Their website is completely misrepresentative.
I bought a stainless steel shower tray from AQVA and had to return it, through no fault of AQVA. I had to arrange a courier as AQVA would not collect it to return it, which I did. I rang AQVA on the day that it was delivered to check if it had been returned ok, and that it was not damaged - the shower tray cost nearly £500, so I really needed it to be refunded. They assured me that it was ok. I then rang almost daily to find out when I would get my refund and I emailed numerous times. After 21 days, when I rang again, as AQVA had still not got back to me about my refund, they told me that it was damaged on arrival. They did not call me to tell me this, I called them. I then emailed and rang almost daily to ask AQVA for photos of the damage and of the packaging - the original packaging, as it had not been unwrapped. It took over 2 weeks to get photos. The courier did not accept the photos as they were not very clear and not of the whole tray. Also because I had claimed 3 weeks after the courier delivery I had missed the deadline - thanks to AQVA not telling me that the shower tray was damaged. I am inclined to think that AQVA had damaged it and were blaming the courier company (Parcel2go - TNT). AQVA have still not responded to my letter of complaint, sent 3 months ago, despite me reminding them to respond to it. I would not buy from AQVA again.
Ordered a radiator from Aqva. They sent the wrong item, didn't find out till the plumber arrived to fit it (the delivery note had was not explicit in the format of the item). Called and emailed countless time to have them send replacement item or new brackets. Delays and promises of raising to priority status, 3 weeks later the brackets arrive from the manufacturer. Terrible customer service and no apology or remedy for their short comings. I would not use them again. Hope this helps shoppers looking to use this company
I looked everywhere for the right "Glass Tower Shower" for my new bathroom. Whenever I found something that might have worked I was put off by the price of not only the shower but also the p&p charges which were, in some cases, astronomical. One company even worked theirs out based on the weight of the items to be shipped which was confusing to say the least. Then I discovered Aqva Bathrooms. The Shower was cheaper than the rest to begin with but it was also at a special price too. The p&p was incredibly reasonable, the website was easy to navigate and the whole process of ordering was quick and painless. I admit I was worried that the Shower Tower would not arrive in one piece seeing as the price of p&p was so low but it wasn't an issue. The packaging was professional, the Shower Tower well padded and supported and it arrived safely in perfect condition. I have totally no problem recommending this company to others, it was a great find.
Ordered a £1500 shower column with them, I rang before ordering to check delivery time, told 3-5 days. We are putting in an accessible shower for my son who is in a wheelchair. Later on in the evening I received an email, after paying and the money gone out of my account, to say that the shower would take a month to arrive. I responded with an instruction to cancel the order as there was no way I could wait that amount of time for the shower to arrive. It took them ages to respond to me, I rang them a few times and the phone rang and rang without answer. I eventually got an email to say the order will be passed to the cancellation department. I got a refund after a week amazing when they could take it straight out of my bank but couldn't put it straight back in. Disgusting company do yourself a favour and don't bother.
ordered a shower head from them, still hasent come after about a month of waiting. contacted via e.mail loads of times. no response. rang them. phone rang for hours until someone picked up and said would get back to me. and surprise, surprise never did. avoid like the plague!
Purchased a bath from Aqva, which arrived in good time. However it was the wrong specification (my fault). I spoke to Aqva and they said I needed to email them to get a returns authorisation number. I emailed immediately.
After 5 days of repeated phone calls from myself; when on each call I was fobbed off with the response "it will be with you tomorrow" I have finally arrived at today where I have been told that I can simply send it back to them without any requirement for an authorisation number. In addition, they will pick up the bath for me but will charge me double their original delivery charge to pickup!
Having read the other review on here for them I am now going to try and sell the bath on eBay as I don't believe I would ever get my money back from them.
I will never use this company and would highly recommend that anybody reading this does the same. Absolute Joke
Ordered a bath and a bath panel. The wrong bath and the wrong bath panel arrived. We were made to send photos of both before they would do anything. Had one company collect the panel and then another company collect bath all the time refusing to send a replacement until they had received both back. We got another bath from somewhere else as we couldn't wait for them to muck around any longer. They have now had the items back but still haven't refunded our money and aren't replying to emails any more. Avoid completely.
