Firstly the were delivering 2 two seater sofas and a chair the chair was damaged so we refused delivery jobsworth driver said i have to deliver the lot or nothing.
Next delivery time slot 10.45 14.45 arrived at 15 25 after i had called and told them my daughter had to pick my grandson up from school and would be back at 15.30 driver left a note saying he waited 20 minutes what a liar then refused to go back what a shit company
I am disabled and had a 40" tv delivered a few days ago. The delivery 'driver' just had me sign his little elecsign before leaving my tv in my hall and disappearing before I had a chance to ask for his assistance in setting my tv up as is stated on arrowxl.co.uk, which would have taken him all of 5 minutes. Arrow XL provides false and misleading information on your website under your 'Pride in our service' section, where you state you 'UNPACK AND INSPECT' 'LIGHT ASSEMBLY' and 'INSTALLATION'.
PLEASE DO NOT ADVERTISE SERVICES IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER!!!
I ordered a bed for my son thats uses arrowxl for their deliveries and was told it would be delivered on thursday 10/10/13, a time slot between 3 and 5pm.....i waited and waited....so the friday morning i phoned the company to be told the men had run out of delivery hours!!!!.......would you like to arrange another day and time she said, so she asked me if the following tuesday 22/10/13 would be ok ....my son now having slept one night on the floor was going without a bed for another4 nights..(i don't think so)........when i told her this she told me to hold the line and came back with the saturday between 3 and 6pm...i accepted...sat came 3pm came and went 4pm came and went 5pm came and went 6pm came and aent ...then a phoncall at approx 6.30 saying they would be arriving in about 15mins...low and behold they were here...this delivery service is terrible....this bed was from dreams beds in dundee won't be ordering from them again!!!!
Ordered a dishwasher from a company that use Arrow Xl as the delivery company, was promised a delivery 21st October, 13.45- 1700, when it hadn't arrived by 17.45 phoned company to be told the delivery had been cancelled, heard nothing to say it was late or not coming, at 18.30 had a call from driver to say delivery had been cancelled, funny company new at least an hour earlier but said nothing untill I called, driver stated the dishwasher was going back to Aylsham depot, Not far I thought, when I was then offered to rebook the delivery at the soonest the 26th of October I offered to collect from Aylsham, I have a van take me an hour, No, I cant collect its been returned to Enfield, Must have gone past my door on the way past, What a shambles, They call this a white glove service, No its Just a rubbish service, will mean 3 days off work for something I could have collected, Rubbish, Rubbish , Rubbish
Took day off to receive delivery and phoned up to confirm time slot and that there were no delays. Half an hour before time slot expired was told that driver had gone back to depot having 'finished deliveries' for the day. Was unable to get them to send him back out. Utterly useless, if a company uses Arrow XL for deliveries shop elsewhere and explain why.
Order product on Wednesday had confirmations of delivery even up until 7 am on Delivery date 28-09-2013. told order would be delivered 9.45 -13.45. when 13.45 came and went decided to call the contact centre to find out where my order was at. this call was at 2.15. the young girl I spoke to was disinterested and rude. did not seem to care and when I made a point of the lateness she stated to me "its just one of those things" you should never tell a customer this. She then told me there was a 2-3 hour delay as the delivery driver had left the depot late.. I do not see how this is my problem. I then ended the call with the lady and continued to wait. I then tried to call back at 17.00 as the text stated that I could call the number up until 20.00 however this was not the case as the contact centre closed at 16.00. Eventually at 17.52 I received a call from the delivery driver only to be fed a line that the van had broken down and my order would not be coming today and that I was expected to reschedule the delivery. I told the man that I did not believe the van had broken down and that it was wrong that he had left it so late to contact me considering the time the delivery was supposed to arrive. After being fed more cobblers from the man I ended the call and got straight on to the company I had ordered from to cancel the item as I believe the company they have chosen is a direct reflection of their poor customer service as I was informed that these problems have occurred in the past and also I checked the online reviews. I am totally disgusted and will never order from a company that uses this service. So so mad. completely spoiled my weekend!!
Ordered an item from a reputable company, took 4 days to dispatch which I was not impressed with but had been assured that I would have my delivery by 21st May. Tracking says "Available to deliver" on 16th May but then nothing. Had been assured I would get a phone call to arrange delivery but instead got an email from ArrowXL this evening saying they will deliver the item on 22nd May!!!! If that's not convenient they say to ring an 0800 number which no-one bothers to answer! Total crap and not surprised being part of Yodel (formally known as Yodel XL). Let me guess, they are getting ready to rename themselves yet again. Home Delivery Network to Yodel.......what next, time to rename again as your rep is pants! Why these companies choose to use this rabble I will never know - they must be cheap!
my dad ordered me a dining room table and chairs from a 'very' well known company as a moving in gift
they set the delivery date to the day after i moved in
the day before, i got a text telling me my delivery was due to arrive in 20 minutes
i rang ARROW to tell them of the error and there was no delivery booked for that day
i rearranged the date for the following week, but when that date rolled around, nothing
rang ARROW again to find out why, and my delivery date had not even been booked in
rearranged the date again, only to receive another text informing me that the table was due to arrive on a day i was at work, rang them again to say 'no, i told you when i was free' rearranged the date again and they told me theyd ring me the following day with information as to why this had been happening
following day comes around and
no phone call
ring them again, for them to tell me that they wont be able to deliver on the day they said and that instead it would be arriving the weekend i was away
so it would have to come up as a failed delivery and be rearranged after that
ive finally, possibly, got a delivery date, over 2 weeks after the date which they initially promised
however that date has still to come and im sure many more failures are yet to come
A "Very" well known catalogue company posted a large parcel to me using these bunch of cowboys, if I had known prior I wouldn't have bought the item as I have had dealings with this pretend delivery company in the past. The "Very" big catalogue company posted to my correct address however XL decided that they were far better off sending the parcel to a street with the same name but a different postcode that was about 20 miles away from my house. When I contacted XL I was told that this wasn't their problem and if I wanted the parcel I could either drive the 20 miles to collect it or contact the "Very" big catalogue company to arrange redelivery!
Please, take notice of the bad reviews on here and avoid this plastic bunch of cowboys at all costs.
starting to feel harassed by arrow xl that's the 6th email and text you have sent me now and had 3 phone calls and a voicemail after confirming i want it delivered tomorrow-.- as much as i like to be informed and texted, i don't need to be bombarded with the confirmation time that many times
