I purchased 2 prints from this company through groupon. The first print arrived within a week, which was fast enough, but I was unhappy with it. It was a Banksy print, and the ink in the print had dripped and smeared on the foam board (which is horrid and cheap and not worth the money anyway!!) and it was tiny compared to what I thought it would be. The other print -- 7 months on and I still have not received it!!!!!!!! I have contacted Groupon, who contacted the seller, and never received a response (this was 4 months ago that they contacted him!) from the seller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rang them again, and they are refunding me the amount I spent on Groupon for the voucher, however, all calls, e-mails, and any other attempt at contacting the seller on my part have gone unanswered. I am owed money by this scam company, and I am LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a f*@*ing waste of my money and time...
I purchased 2 pieces of "art" from this company as part of a Groupon offer... which should have been my first clue. I chose a Banksy and a landscape print. The pictures on the site showed these amazing high quality images. What I received differed significantly. The quality was extremely grainy and looked almost damaged. It's of such poor cheap quality that I couldn't hang them anywhere. Also the company they direct you to return the items charges £29 to post them back so they can dispatch them to another mug.
Firstly I was advised to wait 14 days for delivery (this was on May 20th). I contacted the company after 14 working days had elapsed as they did not show. Customer service apologised and promised me delivery within 72 hours... a week later I still hadn't even a confirmation they were posted...
Finally a month later I received them. I opened the package and found the quality of the print to be so poor that if I screengrabbed the images off their site and printed them on my printer at home they would have looked better. Secondly the "hanging kit" that I was promised comprised of 4 hooks embedded in the backs of the cards... hardly a "kit".
I don't know how this company has the bare faced cheek to roll this stuff out as art prints... I've learned my lesson the hard way... avoid... £79 for something of this quality is a complete and utter joke. They've actually given me another voucher HAHAHA
I waited 2 months for my order. Communication was disgustingly poor. When I finally received responses to my emails they were cut and paste-obvious as I received numerous emails that were identical! Told them I wanted a refund and two days later received an email from the courier service telling me they had just been despatched!!. Following numerous emails FINALLY was told by Andre that he would refund me but nothing since then. Have logged complaint with Groupon and will be going to Trading Standards as I am obviously not the first person to be on the receiving end of this terrible service!
I paid for 2 works of art via 2 groupon vouchers and then paid a little extra and P&P. I received the first within 2 weeks in perfect condition and then the other arrived about 1 week later, again in perfect condition.
I loved the art, the pictures are amazing and the colours are so vivid. All my friends want them!!
And the service was perfect with lovely emails from Andre - and then I even got offered another big money off voucher so consider me one very happy lady. Thank you! :)
Love the artwork on offer -- they feature range of pieces that you just can't find anywhere else. Although I couldn't get them on the phone, we spoke a few times on email and they were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for wall art.
Ordered a banksy quad throug Groupon voucher. Received 4 thin polystyrene squares that had been placed face to face in packaging so that paint from each one stuck to the other when pulled apart. Communication extremely poor, although Andre did ensure that the prints were sent as requested in time for my sons birthday. My wife is looking for a part time job and would happily handle their customer service/communications if they want to employ her on a part time basis (please contact me). The size and nature of the prints also bore no relationship to the pictures advertised on groupon, which appeared to be larger canvasses.
I'd seen both good and bad reviews of Artstate, but a friend told me he'd had no problems. Ordered the Kogo print and just received it. Looks fantastic on my wall. From the looks of the reviews it looks like they got off to a rocky start but seem to be getting things sorted now. I'm keeping an eye out for them again on Groupon as I'd like to order a few more for work.
There were some issues our with Royal Mail & this resulted in our parcel not being delivered. We got a reprint in the end and it arrived with us around the estimated time that the Art State team said it would, so appart from the wait - no harm done & we are very happy with the end product.
I had the misfortune of dealing with this company after buying a Groupon voucher for some Banksy prints back in March.
The company were quick to acknowledge the order but very slow and evasive responding to questions about delivery. There was a very long time scale but I was happy to wait.
When they eventually arrived (past the allotted dates given) I opened up the package to find two of the four prints were both bent and ripped. Within 20 minutes of signing for the package I'd photographed the contents and emailed ArtState (that was almost a month ago!) stating I was unhappy and what did they plan to do about it?
Well that's where the communication stopped. No responses to the emails (responding to the previous emails they sent me)
Phone calls went unanswered, was told not to leave a message but email and they would respond within 48 hours. Nothing!
I eventually raised a support ticket and complaint with Groupon. A further 10 working days passed and ArtState didn't even respond to me or Groupon in that time frame so Groupon are now putting the money back on my card, have cancelled the voucher and logged this complaint against them.
Totally rubbish and unacceptable customer service. I also plan to chase Paypal to recover the postage fees paid as they can get these back from the carrier, but to be frank, it's their problem not mine.
If I could give them zero stars I would. 1 star is being generous. Avoid at all costs.
My grievance with this company has spanned over a ridiculous 5 months! I ordered 2 prints, the first arrived OK, but quality was very poor (they basically glue a printout on to a flimsy bit of polystyrene, the corners curl up because of this), the 2nd print was where all the real problems started, email after email of excuses saying that they had problems with royal mail (I'm sorry but at £6.99 postage, you should expect recorded delivery!), then they sent the wrong size! The company acknowledged their error and AGAIN email after email of excuses and empty promises of receiving what we paid for. Contact has now completely stopped and we have never received our original order. I'm relieved that this was a kgb deal and I didn't pay the suggested astronomical prices they wanted on their website! AVOID COMPLETELY, YOU WILL ONLY GET BURNED WITH THIS COMPANY, RIP OFF ARTISTS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND THEN KEEPING THEIR MONEY!
Ordered 2 prints in Nov as Xmas presents, 1 arrived and it was fab, it is now mid April and I am still waiting for the other. I have sent numerous emails but the last couple I have had no response. All sorts of excuses but mainly blamed on Royal Mail. Avoid this company!
I found a great deal on KGB, great price so timmediately thought of a Christmas pressie. At first the code didn't work and the guys at Artstate were really helpful in sorting it out for me - great customer service so far so I was optimistic! I ordered a few days late so know I'd be pushing it to receive my gift onm time, it should arrive between Christmas and new year though so that's not to bad... By 16th Jan I'd emailled to ask when it would arrive and was told 5-7 days. On 29th Jan they told me 'It went out last week due to reach you last week / this week with Royal Mail'. It fnally arrived on the 19th FEB!! That's not the 20 days they promise.....! To add insult to injury, they've sent the wrong size! I've been emailling since the delivery date and, surprise suprise, no resonse! It's now 3rd April, I have paid too much for a small print, the quality isn't great (it arrived slightly bent!) and of course there is no response from Artstate!
I have been waiting two months for my delivery. I emailed artstate who told me it had already been sent out. Still no delivery. I have emailed them twice since and have had no reply. It is unacceptable customer service. Blaming the delivery on Royal Mail is one thing but the total lack of response shows exactly what type of company they are. Save yourself the stress and loss of money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Looking at the reviews it seems there was BIG issues with the Royal Mail for this company. Unfortunately we were affected by the Royal Mail letting this company down too and having exchanged a number of emails with Art State I eventually received our print, it is AMAZING! I too was a little put off using them again, however, I'm sure they've sorted out their delivery issues now and I will definitely be placing more orders. Thanks so much, it is fantastic! x
I ordered my canvas in time for a Christmas present. Mid march and still no canvas. I have old the company I'm going to trading standards as I have been told three times its in the post and to give it a week for it to arrive. Well it never does arrive! Apparently there was a problem with Royal Mail which I can except for it not arriving at first but not the next two times. Surely if your customer has waited this long you'd send it out recorded deliver next day? I have received a copy if what my canvas looks like yesterday, so here's hoping the actual canvas will arrive at my door by the weekend.
The actual image does look fantastic. It's a shame the company has let itself down with the service as a lot of my friends would have had one too if I hadn't of warned them off!
I never received the item I paid for. I ordered in December 2012 and now in March 2013 I have yet to receive my collage. Awful customer service you can not get anyone on the phone. The emails I receive say he same thing
"oh it will be out to you next week just be patient".
After 3 months of waiting my patience has run out.
