Fixed my drainage problem

Since October last year I have had several problems with my drains. I have for the most part been able to sort this out myself, but eventually I had to get a professional in. The drainage guy came out armed with a camera so he could look down into the outside drains, and we found a large build up of gunk, which was the root of all the blockages. A few blasts from his jetter and everything was fine. He even gave some sage advice about how to stop future blockages which I shall be passing on to the rest of the family! 10/10 (or 5 out of 5 in this instance).

Very quick and efficient

The engineer arrived exactly on time as arranged. Made a very quick assessment of the problem (new ball valve needed in the water tank), disappeared for 15 minutes to the nearest plumbers merchant to buy a part, and then replaced it in another 15 minutes flat ...

All in a very good experience and I will use Aspect again!

Was recommended and very happy

I run a small office and the hand wash basin in the staff toilet almost completely fell away from the wall. Obviously this is not something I could leave and was recommended these guys by the office next door who use them. The plumber did a great job with refitting it and seems very sturdy so won't happen again, I hope!

Can recommend for boiler work

We have a small baby, and when our central heating failed we found ourselves in quite an emergency. We needed to get our boiler back up and running ASAP. The gas fitter came around and quickly diagnosed the problem, and recommended that we need a new immersion heater. As we wanted to get the work done on the day, the engineer called the office who agreed on a price for him to go and pick the part up from a local supplier and come back to repair the boiler. This is a service we would happily recommend - and will be.

No complaints

I can imagine the whole world and his dog have had their roof damaged recently, and we were no exception. As one of several leaseholders in a large block of flats, there were naturally logistical problems getting everybody together to agree on a company and price. Aspect were a tad more expensive than the other quotes we received, but we realise that in this industry you get what you pay for. We were so happy with the quality of work provided that we are setting up an account with Aspect to avoid any further problems with the leaseholder arrangement.

Doing a great job

My mother recently had somebody try to break into her house, and was naturally frightened by the whole experience. We needed somebody to come out ASAP, and aspect.co.uk were happy to deliver. The locksmith was local to the area, experienced and was very reassuring throughout the entire job. He made the door secure and temporarily changed the locks, and we are now in the process of having a brand new door fitted.

My new favourite company

It would seem that we are under a constant barrage of problems from our living room lights. We have tried several other companies but still the problems persist. We decided to try Aspect for the first time and they sent out a lovely Australian guy, who managed to diagnose faults that nobody else has even thought to look at, and now we are back to normality in our living room!

Lovely new bathroom - highly recommend

With any large job, you need to be able to trust the people who are going to carry out the work. We decided to go with an established company, hoping that the length of time they have been in the business would pay off, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. We have been looking to have our bathroom done up for quite a while, and an estimator came round to quote for the new bathroom. He was very helpful and explained all the different options available to us- and now we are very happy with our bespoke bathroom.

Very happy

I had a small job to de done and I needed it doing quickly. We have a tenanted property and the previous tenants have recently moved out. There were several small jobs that needed doing: touching up paintwork, replacing loose fixtures and fittings etc. Aspect arranged for a handyman to come out for half a day, with the option of keeping him there all day if it was needed. He was quick and efficient, and the work was done to a high quality- we will be leaving their details with the new tenants in case of any future emergencies!

Very Disappointed

They seemed professional enough at the outset - the customer services over the phone very well handled. But the Services Engineer they sent out was terrible - barely articulate, didn't even know how to turn the boiler on (I kid you not) and noted that there was no CO detector when one was clearly visible. Expensive, not very good service. I did complain but didn't hear back.
Would not recommend.

Very disappointing from what felt like a professional outfit at the start

I had a roof repair done by aspect for which they had done a pre-purchase survey. From what felt like a reliable and responsive company when I placed the order, things have gone downhill quite rapidly.
- They promise a 10 year guarantee for the work carried out by them but I have received no documents to this effect and worse still no response at all to the repeated mails on this subject.
- They replaced flat roof for which I am seeking documentary confirmation that the job is in line with bld regs.----again no document and no response what so ever.
- Even when the job was done, the main engineer had delegated the job to a junior person who failed to observe the basic expectations on tidiness and cleanliness with the result that the toilets were left dirty, muddy foot prints on wooden floor and the full dust from the chimney sweep having been left scattered all over the living room.
Aspect are atleast 20% costlier that any other independent roofer and do not expect this from them. From them possibly being my 1 point stop for all bldg works, I have moved to a position of looking for other players for the numerous work I am being required to carry out in my new house.

Good communication

After being told that the appointment (which we drove back 60 miles for ) had been cancelled, with subsequent arguments on the phone with the customer support department about the situation, I feel it's only right to thank the roofer that did eventually make it to our house to repair the roof - and working until it was satisfactorily completed, just before lightfall. It should also be pointed out that Customer Support department did return calls regularly to keep us up to date as to whether the work was going to be carried out.

Fantastic professional service - Aspect Property Care

I recently had to call out a plumber and builder to my flat in Walthamstow.
The customer service from the time the phone was picked up and making my appointment was very friendly and helpful.
The Plumber and Builder where very attentive to detail and did a very good survey.
I would highly recommend Aspect for their polite, prompt and professional service

I had a hole in the Wall

The hole was left after a new central heating boiler was moved to another position. I called Aspect and the next day someone came out and bricked up the hole - both sides. He took 45 minutes. Cost £100. I was happy.

Fast and efficient service with a result.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Shpend the electrician, he arrived within the agreed time limit, very professional and friendly service, and put the fault to rights.
On a Sunday afternoon with no heating or hot water it was great to receive such prompt service!

Prompt, efficient and effective, but pricey

Aspect gets the job done - their call centre staff are good communicators and scope the problem well, and booked a repairman for my sink within a couple days of the call. The workman arrived on time and ready to fix the problem (though didn't have the note I gave the call centre that he should phone me rather than buzzing the door - waking sleeping wife and baby, oh well). Only drawback is that, as always, you pay for prompt and efficient service - Aspect is a lot more expensive on a per hour basis than the local handyman in my experience. Pros and cons.

Great to have a company you can trust for a wide range of jobs

Yes, Aspect are a little bit more expensive than using a local tradesman, but I think the quality of service they provide makes them more than worth the extra money. In particular they offer a great service for smaller jobs that you'd struggle to persuade a sole trader to turn up for. I've used Aspect for a number of jobs including plumbing, central heating, electricals and handyman jobs.
They offer short appointment windows (two hours or less), the call centre team are really helpful and efficient, they can turn up with 48 hours notice or less, they always turn up when they say they will, the quality of work is excellent, the people doing the work are absolutely lovely, they don't try to pad out the job longer than necessary, they clean up after themselves, they take their shoes off at the front door without being asked...! I would 100% recommend them.

Great service!

Our electrician Shpend was great and very efficient. He fixed our new dimmer switch and checked all the lights I was worried about in a timely manner. Good service - he arrived within an hour of my call.

Efficient, knowledgeable service

Although the engineer arrived a little late, I received a phone call from the centre to inform me. Once he'd arrived, the engineer was friendly and knowledgeable and gave good sensible advice. Would definitely use again.

Dishonest - be careful of hidden fees

They got the job done but payment was a bit of an issue. The engineer was here for 45 mins but I was billed for 1.5 hours plus a £7.50 charge for 'extra materials.'

I was quoted on the phone for the installation of a shower/bath screen. I was told that the price was all-inclusive bar in some exceptional circumstances where the engineer might be required to purchase extra materials. At no stage did the engineer indicate that he had to go out to purchase extra materials.

Silicon is a key ingredient for installing a bath/shower screen which I would have assumed the engineer would have with him when coming to do the job - (after having been fully briefed). In any event, I had silicone available for use but he did not ask nor did he ever indicate that he would need to charge me extra for materials.

When i tried to contact aspect to discuss the bill I was unable to get through to their accounts department. Each time I called I was told someone would call me back - never happened.

When I finally got though, they stated that they would reimburse me for the extra half hour charged but that the materials remained chargeable.

Will not use this company again. Dishonest and unreasonable! To be charged £7.50 for the use of no more than 4cms of silicone (a product that I already had) is ridiculous.

If you use this company, keep good note of the time the engineer arrives and leaves and double check your bill!
