They will continue to provide mediocre service and products

This was second time ordering within six months....
Bought a Yuasa YIX30L-BS, which shows as a direct replacement for my 2001 Harley Ultra Classic. Not a direct fit, had to bend the bikes pos. terminal at a 90 degree to connect. The terminals ARE NOT flush with the edge like the OEM batteries are.The floating nuts are maddening. I am skilled with tools and it took me over 30 minutes to force this to work. Save your $$ and buy direct replacement from somewhere you can go see the actual battery. The tracking number which was emailed, NEVER worked. They also shipped my order in two different shipments, had to log in to get the motorcycle battery tracking. Other battery was a small one which I guess "fell" off their RADAR. This was my second and final order with Battery Sharks. I will never again order from these folks. And I did the on-line Chat with Amanda on two different days, so they were aware of my dissatisfaction with BatterySharks. Emailed them a few times. In my opinion they are in desparate need of customer service training. I had ordered a couple batteries in March, one was bad. The did offer to replace it, which I declined as the cost to ship it back was about 75% of the cost of thr battery. Battery was $7.90, shipping was $5

Inferior product and they won't stand by "warranty"

DO NOT BUY from these guys!!! You'll be sorry... They sell an inferior product that supposedly comes with a one year warranty that they will not honor. First they told me that the reason the batteries failed after one months use and then a few months of non-use is because they were left to discharge (without me saying so). And then when I told them they were left in the scooter with the smart charger on, they said the batteries should not have been left fully charged. They were willing to give me a 10$ discount (LOL) but I wouldn't buy nothing from these rip-offs again.

Very helpful, pleasant telephone order!

The company representative was a very pleasant gentleman who helped me place a tax-exempt order. Courteous and helpful service. I'll be a returning customer.

Batterysharks.com is a total rip off BEWARE

I ordered 2 batteries and got them. Part number on my original battery matches my part number on my invoice- but the two batteries was way to wide to fit in the model of UPS I have. There was no part number on the batteries. I called and Lily Torres answered and told me it should fit, I told her it is at least an inch to wide.

We went around and around with - they should fit- but they don't. She was rude, short tempered, said there was no possible way they shipped the wrong item. Totally my fault. Worst service ever. EVER.

She kept saying it is a 12 volt, 12 amps- should fit. Stupid!! Those are not dimensions.

They want me to pay shipping back to them and a 15% restocking fee. Total rip off. I will never order form them again. I am going to just dispute the charges. You can't fit a 4 inch wide battery in a 3 inch wide spot. They cannot seem to understand that.

They rely on customers just eating the costs and saying it is not worth it.

Scammers

Same thing happened to me as a previous poster. I ordered a battery on May 23rd. Got a tracking number (which stated UPS hasn't received the package.) The tracking number had a weight and everything. I called on June 13th, and was told they didn't have the battery in stock and wouldn't get it for 3 weeks. Oh not to mention the lady on the phone interrupted me once, and hung up on me once. Anyways I asked to cancel the order, so here's to hoping it gets canceled. DON'T BUY HERE!!!

Misrepresented the product provided.

Placed an order and paided for a UPS replacement battery kit. What received was two batteries that appeared to have been sourced from a land fill. The batteries were so poorly packaged the battery posts came into contact burning the posts off of the top of the batterys and burnt the interior of the box.

Pictures of the packaging and the batteries attached.

This was first and last transaction with Batterysharks.

Dear Mr. Slater,

I am sorry about the inconvenience caused.
It is obvious that the batteries were damaged during the shipment, for which we do not have any control. However, we will be more than glad to change them for free. You have 30 days, after the delivery date, to exchange/return or cancel your order without any additional fees.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact directly with us.

Regards,

BatterySharks Team

BAIT-AND-SWITCH SCAMMERS!

Horrible seller! They DO NOT SEND the BRAND of battery that you order, but instead substitute whatever they want. For instance, if you order Panasonic batteries, your invoice and packing slip will show that you ordered Panasonic. But when you receive your shipment, it will have some inferior brand you've never heard of (Sigmas) that is worth MUCH LESS. It is nothing less than a CLASSIC BAIT-AND-SWITCH SCAM! If you call and request the correct brand of battery that you ordered, they will give you a bunch of crap and insist that they tell you they state that they reserve the right to "Ship Replacement Branded Batteries" on their website, which is a COMPLETE LIE. Stay away from these THIEVES unless you want your money taken for junk, substituted batteries. Go somewhere that is reputable, like NewEgg, DigiKey or Amazon. These people are CROOKS!!!
