Easy ....

Very easy to order, delivery next day as promised. Bed is great, although the instructions were very very basic!! Also would have been helpful to have had a more specific delivery time, even if it were a.m. or p.m., however very satisfied on the whole and the bed looks lovely.

I'm so pleased I found Bedsos. Ordering and paying online was so easy. I ordered the Tetras black metal and wood framed single bed with a Memory Foam Extreme 50 mattress. Both are superb quality, I'm simply amazed at the low price we paid. Because they were such a low price, we opted for Saturday delivery and had no problems at all from TNT. They gave me a time slot, which they stuck to and the delivery man was friendly and helpful.

The bed frame was easy to assemble, all parts were present and well packaged and it looks very smart and contemporary. The memory foam mattress is divine! So supportive and comfortable. I would have expected to pay a lot more for such quality products.

I emailed Danny with a query before delivery, which was answered promptly and politely. I am a very happy customer, will definitely use Bedsos again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

I would definitely order from Bed SOS again! Love the bed; easy to assemble and good quality. Very quick delivery and speedy response to any queries!

Poor service

I should received my order in 24 hours but it didn't happen After week and many phone calls I received it in very poor condition item it been opened bits from it missing and was very dirty dust all over

I do apologise about this delivery. I have been made aware that TNT let us down on this delivery. Even though we offer free delivery all deliveries should be next working day delivery. There is an additional charge for Saturday delivery though. In this case the bed was originally meant to be delivered on Wednesday 8th May but this didn’t happen as the TNT driver ran out of time and legally the driver had worked too many hours so had to return to the depot. We were ONLY made aware of this once you called us chasing up the delivery.

TNT then attempted the delivery on Friday the 10th as you were not available for the delivery on Thursday 9th May. I was informed that the delivery on this date was refused as the goods were damaged. This must have happened in transit. So due to this at our expense and due to the inconvenience we upgraded the delivery to Saturday delivery at no charge to you the customer to get a new replacement bed to you. Unfortunately TNT let us down again which we do apologise about. Obviously we will speak to TNT about this matter as it reflects our company.

The bed was eventually delivered on Monday. We were then advised by yourself that parts were missing from the delivery, obviously this is a manufacturing fault as the goods are not opened before dispatch as they are all sealed. So we got the necessary parts sent out to eventually resolve this issue.

Can you confirm you are now happy with the bed and any issues please contact us on 0844 357 0428 and we will resolve the issue immediately.

Bed was not as nice as I was expecting (just low quality) but no issue with the Bed SOS

It was only a cheap bed (£315) and the quality not what I was hoping. You do get what you pay for I guess, although I have had other beds of a similar price which are better built, easier to put together and from better quality materials.

No issue with Bed SOS at all though, quick delivery and all as ordered, thanks!

Service above set standards

I was hauling myself round shops all day with my nephews and I couldn't find anything for a resonable price. I went online to bed SOS and found the bed I liked only to realise that I had missed the specified ordering window for next day delivery... Anyway I called them up and explained that I only had one more day off work befor I went back and they went and sent it off and I had a new bed on its way within hours. All in all a excellent service and most of all product.

SOS Indeed!

Needed 3 beds really quick and came across the Bed SOS website which offered next day delivery on a good range of beds and mattresses. Prices looked good and some of the customer service issues seemed to have been replied to/resolved very quickly so I placed my order for delivery 3 days in advance as I was working away.
Really pleased with the products although my one regret is I should have gone for more expensive mattresses (I went for the 2nd lowest cost for info). 1 slat was missing, but as the website showed, when I emailed in the issue, it was replied to very quickly and the missing one is on it's way.
I'll buy from Bed SOS again.

Customer service friendly.

Very personable service. It would have been 5 stars had our original order not been o.o.s after we had order accepted. The business is well run, professional and very customer friendly.
I reordered with them after a very successful experience and delivery Christmas 2012.

Simple no nonesense transaction its easy anyone can do it

I found this company after a quick internet search, easy to workout what type of beds are within my budget just add it to your basket and away you go, click on checkout and done, as I purchased over the weekend I got loads of communication via email to let me know what is happening.

Wrong model delivered but company went the extra mile to rectify

We purchased two beds and on delivery one of the beds was the wrong colour. On contacting the company, the response was swift and we were offered a choice of remedies. The manager and staff were courteous and very efficient. Would use this company again.

Excellent bed and mattress, poor delivery

Bed was easy to put together and as advertised, mattress is comfy. Delivery was quick and communication from BedSOS was excellent. However, the delivery company used (third party; Tuffnells) did not take anything past the front door and left me on my own to carry a king size mattress and 3 very heavy boxes up 3 narrow flights of stairs. It was effectively left in the street to stay until a friend was willing/able to help me carry it up the stairs.

I am glad you like the bed and mattress.

With regards to the deliver we have to use delivery companies such as TNT and Tuffnell's in the case as this allows us to offer FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY. Generally delivery companies only deliver to the front door as they are in their work clothes and do not want to bring dirt etc into your home. However I will raise this issue with our account manager to prevent this from happening in the future.

Screwy :/

Received the bed today - the mattress even though not in place yet seems firm so thats good. However we had issues while attempting to put the screws into one side of the foot end of the bed. The screws that the sides hook over, on one of the sides wont fit into the bracket properly - one side is fine though and they are all the correct screws.

Great price, great bed

Ordered bed one day delivered the next!!
Very good price - I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else on the Internet.
The "Alderley" bed frame looks great in my spare room and looks far more expensive than it actually was.
I have marked it down one star as its not the highest quality but still better than expected for the price I paid.
I would highly recommend both Bed SOS and the bed frame.

Not a really good value for money!

Really excited when I bought the Brooklyn Bed frame, the fabric one, but on arrival I noticed that the headboard is not sturdy at all, the fabric looks cheap and the welding in the metal frame is not done straight. I had to force the screws on one side in order to use the bed...
I did expect a more sturdy bed for this amount..

Good honest service

My order got lost but when I rang them they didn't fob me off with the normal excuses, when they say they will ring you back they will. They sorted out my order and got it to me straight away I would recommend them to anybody first class service.

No cosy night for me

In terms of price, ordering, and prompt delivery I could not fault this company.
Unfortunately they did not make it clear that they only deliver to your front door.
I am disabled and had expected two men in a van to arrive and take my mattress upstairs.
I was shocked to see only one man, who was even smaller than me.
He just about got the mattress into my hallway with my assistance - something I should not have done with my disability.
And there it has rested for the last few days while I find someone who can carry it upstairs - probably at additional cost.
In the meantime I have had to continue sleeping on a blow-up bed.

Thanks for your review and comments as we use these comments to improve our business. However I do apologise for any inconvenience with this order.

Unfortunately to offer next day delivery we have to use large delivery companies such as TNT and not our own in house delivery vans. They have the info structure in place to allow us to offer FREE Next Day Delivery. Many companies including 90% of online bed companies in the UK use TNT as their delivery company due to price to us as well as service and reliability. In a perfect world we would love to offer a two man delivery service but this in turn would increase our delivery fees hence we would have to charge for delivery.

Generally delivery companies only take the goods into the property doorway as they are not insured in case of damage whilst in your property. They are also in their work clothes and would not want to bring dirt/mud into your house. However in this instance I feel common sentence should have prevailed and they should have brought the mattress into the property. I will bring this matter up with TNT and make them aware of the situation.

Birlea Lynx Wardrobe Quality Issues

I ordered a Birlea Lynx wardrobe and chest of drawers via Bed SOS for delivery during a week when I was on leave from work. The products arrived on time although the driver (TNT) seemed miffed that no one was available to help him carry them in. When I opened and inspected the packages later I noted that one piece of the wardrobe was broken - the top corner was completely snapped off. I rang Bed SOS and Danny was really helpful and sent a new piece which was delivered two days later (luckily my mother was at home at could take the delivery for me). However, when I came to build it that after the replacement piece had arrived I realised that there were ten pieces missing, and that I had several surplus bits. Again, Danny arranged for new parts to be sent, but this time TNT were useless and took 3 days to deliver (that's 3 days of not being able to leave the house). However, I got these pieces home and found that two of them were broken. My dad tried to fix them so I could at least build something, but we then discovered that one of the main side panels had the holes for the shelf and hinges drilled in the wrong place - 2 inches too low, and another piece was about 2 inches too tall and stuck out at the top so the top piece wouldn't fit on. I have to say though, BedSOS did give me refund for the wardrobe eventually, but the quality of the Birlea furniture is poor - either that or they seriously need to review their packaging and shipping procedures. Not BedSOS's fault, as they are only the retailer but can't help thinking they should be more careful what they sell as it reflects badly on them. Birlea chest of drawers was fine btw, arrived correclty and not damaged, built easily and is fair for the price - have to say though, Birlea's instructions for building not as clear as other well known flat packed furniture manufacturers.

I understand when you received the Lynx wardrobe there was parts missing. As the wardrobe arrived flatpacked and sealed this missing parts must have been missed out at manufacturing. With regards to the damages in transit we do apologise about this and no matter which courier's we use or any courier use there will always be some deliveries that get damaged which we do apologise about as this reflects our company.

As you mentioned you were frustrated with this order and we have now issued a full refund for this wardrobe.

Bed arrived promptly but after putting the bed up noticed the wood was broken in the head board , so not really impressed at all

Excellent service.

I have no complaints about the quality of the bed i received or the delivery time scale, both excellent. What i do have a problem with is the ' Free Delivery' heading on the website but finding because i live in Scotland, i have to pay £10.

Excellent product and service

The Alderley black bed frame and mattress arrived just over 24 hours after ordering and was well packaged. Straightforward to assemble, and we are very pleased with the final product. It is well made and looks just right in our early Edwardian bedroom.

I did a lot of research before deciding to order our new beds from Bed SOS. The reviews here (and their responses, where necessary) helped me decide they were the company to go with. I wasn't wrong. The whole transaction was smooth and professional, from my original phone call with several questions, to the friendly and helpful delivery driver. I won't hesitate to recommend Bed SOS to my friends and family.

Can't fault these guys

To be fair I was maybe a little dubious initially but I called placed an order over the phone with a very friendly and helpful lady, confirmation of order was sent to me in minutes , I was then contacted again to inform Me of delivery... delivery was actually a little earlier than anticipated the following day which in my opinion was great as had scheduled for a day off .... can't fault the service, price or timescales would definitely use again

I was so surprised how quick delivery was after having problems with a large retailer who made us wait for four weeks for a bed only to then tell us it was out of stock!
