Ordered a bed from Bedworld Direct on the Friday evening, at a cost of £210 with free delivery. The same bed is on sale in several other bed stores at around £380.
Upon completion of my order, I wasn't given a delivery date, I emailed customer services and was given an estimate of 2-3 working days. I work full time and would have preferred a confirmed delivery date. I emailed a couple more times requesting advance notice of delivery but these went unanswered which I was disappointed at, as I had to simply guess what day it would arrive and arrange annual accordingly.
As promised, the bed was dispatched on Monday morning and arrived on Wednesday afternoon. The driver phoned when he arrived and kindly waited for someone to arrive to let him in.
The bed itself was good quality for the money, some of the holes for the screws were slightly out of line andthe slats could have been of better quality but that's a gripe with the manufacturer rather than the retailer.
Overall, I got the bed for a good price and if you were given either a confirmed delivery date or advance notice (£35 charge for failed delivery) I would have absolutely no cause for complaint. For a saving of £170 I can't grumble!
Received my bed on time, and the guy carried the boxes upstairs for me (although most couriers wont these days !) which was a welcome bonus. Excellent service from start to finish so no problems for me at all.
Avoid this website--- I order a mattress with a site delivery promise of two to three weeks over a month ago and I haven't received; when I call them they are unresponsive and haven't even sent an email to update the delivery status. I am wondering if I ever see the mattress
