the staff are very polite and the prices are good and delivery is quick.There was a hiccup once when there was a big change over in their warehouse system we had the wrong order sent to us and it took a few weeks to correct and poor kitty didn't farewell on a change of diet!But to be fare to best pet they compensated us with a replacement free of charge.Also have had problems trying to order on line when entering a promotion code for a discount a recent one would not be accepted it was a little disappointing as I am a good customer...I think it was code 38DAYS.Overall though they are a very good company to order from.
They were very helpful, and knew exactly what I needed. Explained the prescription procedure to me, and I have saved so much money buying my dogs medication this way, anyone would be mad to not use them!!
I cancelled an odrer 1 -2 hours after ordering, because of difficulties with prescription. Had at talk with customers service. nov 30.same day as ordering.
Today Dec.2nd. I look at my statement for creditcard and notice, that the Money has been drawn all though the ordre has been cancelled. THAT'S ILLEGAL. You can't take money from costumers in advance.
I ordered this product following loss of elderly cat to help the remaining pets (6 year old Cairn Terrier and young rescue cat) to adjust to the present "pecking order" as the cat never had the confidence even to enter the house and just lived in the conservatory. Only after few weeks there has been a great change in the cat's behaviour, she is now a totally different cat, she basically claimed her rights to be in the house, sleeps in the house and even comes with us when I take the dog for a walk! The dog is very accommodating to the new member, and I am absolutely delighted with this result. I would recommend Best Pet for trouble free shopping and this product to everyone.

It's the best. It doesn't cost at lot have peace of mind that my lot are getting looked after and there is everything you need for the dudes. You need to go on it. Fast delivery and they even send you an email wen it's shipped. I ordered it on Sunday and it came this morning. I have had no problems with them at all they have been great
Got sent dog treats instead of cat treats, was asked to take photo to prove which I did, asked many questions as if I was trying to diddle the company. Bestpet sent courier same day to pick up wrong goods but decided to post my proper order which arrived a week later. They seemed much more bothered about getting back their stock than customer service and making sure I had my replacement delivered quickly, it took 7 emails, the courier picking up didn't turn up when I was asked to be in for, and a lot of hassle, and not much in way of apology or making sure I had the right goods quickly. To be fair I order biscuits a lot which are never a problem, but you really test a companies dedication to caring about the customer when something goes wrong, and it was not impressive.
I order my dog food every month. I have noticed lately that when my delivery arrives its sometimes late, the box has been opened and the packaging of the food tins is not well rapped, every month I order 4 trays of 24 canned food and I always have a least 1/3 of the tins dented. On a couple of occasions I have even had to throw away a tin or two where there so damaged that the food inside is not fit for my dog to eat. Thank you.
Firstly they sent cat food instead of dog food, secondly I requested the correct order to be delivered to an alternative address which they said it would be delivered on the next working day which would be a Monday. When enquired on the Monday, my order had only been sent on that day. My order turned up at my address three days later. Not only was the order sent too the wrong address, one box contained the wrong order, & the second box contained the correct order, though five tins dinted. Once my order was returned as damaged and in correct, I had to chase up my refund after 14 days as it was not automatically refunded. Feeble apologies and inconsiderate, would never use again or recommend to anyone.
I have ordered from BestPet in the past and goods were delivered within 4 days. This time I ordered one one evening, I was informed on line that the order had been received, when I phoned the office to see when delivery would take place I was told that they would ring me back as they could not contact the warehouse at that time. I did not receive a call back telling me what was happening. Delivery in this instance was an unacceptable 10 days. In the parcel was a letter of apology stating that they had moved warehouses and they were behind with their orders. Maybe a phone call to tell me this, and inform me when my delivery was going to arrive would have been better.
Where do I start?? Place order 30th October email received from did awaiting parcel expected delivery 6th no still not received on the 11th phone call [Name] said will chase up? then ESOP spoke to twice ???? 18th still no order very annoyed with negative response from ESOP said refund required very annoyed? But on the 11th I explained I wanted to speak to a supervisor was told they would ring me back nothing!!!! The pharmacy dept have always been helpful and received promptly? The non prescription order short of rubbish? Sorry to say?? I have spent a lot of Money with best pet over the time?? Obviously customer satisfaction needs to be instilled! Asked for refund having to go elsewhere !!!
Tried this company as they offered free delivery. I only received part of my order. Getting through via telephone took 15 mins of just holding on. When I spoke to an operator she was helpful and rang me back as promised but I missed the call. I telephoned again and was kept waiting for another 10 mins. The 2nd operator I spoke to said he couldn't help me as I'd rang the wrong number. He said he worked for Best Pet's sister company and couldn't access my order ..... What??? I pressed redial and waited again for 15 mins. By this time I was really frustrated. The operator offered to re-send me my missing order but it was such an ordeal to get through to these people that I asked for a refund. Have gone back to GJW Titmuss as although I sometimes have to pay for delivery I can always get through on the phones and have never had a problem with my orders.
I switched from another dog food supplier to BestPet and have not regretted it. Prices are always competitive with discounts and service is great and delivery within the week. Items are delivered intact which may seem trivial but when ordering dry dog food … its important.
Ordered some dog food online and although the site specifies delivery in 3-5 days the food arrived two WEEKS later. The company promised to deliver within 72 hours when I complained, but sadly failed to do so. The problem was blamed on a new computer system (of course!). Great shame as they used to deliver quickly.
I have found it is difficult to order a larger size bag of dog food, as your website seems to assume the customer wants the small size, without even mentioning that a larger size is available! By the time I have discovered how to order the larger size, I find that one of each size, i.e. two items have been ordered. Then I have to cancel the whole order and start again. This is both annoying and time consuming.

Having used BestPet for several years for Caninsulin and Syringes, I have been forced to use an alternative supplier due to your unflexable approach to meet customers delivery requirements.
I totally understand the Caninsulin needs to be refrigerated as soon as possible on delivery and a signature required but our family circumstances have changed meaning no one is at home between 9 to 5.
I recently ordered Caninuslin from you and emailed a copy of the Vets prescription, at a cost of £12, to you and posted the original only to be told delivery could not take place due to no one being at home to accept delivery between 9am and 1pm.
I explained that I would leave a large ice box, fully iced up, in the front porch ( as I have done before ) and that someone would be in at 2pm to refrigerate items but this was not acceptable to your salesperson. Our neighbors are unable to accept delivery's on our behalf. I had no alternative but to go elsewhere for my requirements. I could take delivery on Saturday but £10 defeats the object of buying discount prices online. I have also encountered problems with your administration regarding prescriptions and delaying delivery's. Very disappointed.
