Good overall experience which would have gained the company four stars but the after sales service has been diabolical.

It seems that finally a fitter has made contact to come and repair this only after repeated calling
I can't stand poor after sales service because this appears as though once they have your money you are not important.
How wrong can they be. Sites like this and referrals are so important to a company in the current climate.
I would say, use this company but if you are not completely satisfied, do not pay or hold something back until the job has been completed to your satisfaction.
That is unless Betts Living have got their act together ?
Our experience with the company was fantastic all the way through from the salesman, delivery and delivery men, communication and the fitter Jimmy Judd was great and ours sons bedroom looks fantastic and he is very happy as are we :-)
We would of given the company 5 stars if it wasn't for being left with all the packaging and left over wood everywhere :-( this ended our experience on a sad note as the bedroom looked so great until you turned around and looked at all the rubbish in our upstairs hallway! This took us two trips to the dump and we have a Mondeo estate car which is quite big! I know apparently we signed to agree this but I think it is a bad end to a great experience.

Ken and Tommy recently installed wardrobes for my two children's bedrooms. They started early in the morning each day, and worked until very late just to finish the job. They were very well mannered and even when they had finished installing the wardrobes, they stayed overtime just to polish the insides of the furniture and make sure that it was spotless. When my son had realised that his desk was a bit too small, I called the installation manager and they returned to extend the desk and adjust the level of the shelving as one shelf was a bit too high.
Overall I think that the craftmanship provided by Ken and Tommy Delves was very satisfactory and I would happily recommend this company to anyone.

I am absolutely over the moon with my new ward robe. Andy did a great job...in fact all the staff I've dealt with from the beginning of the process have been brilliant....except of course for the delivery. Need to be more communicative. But great job overall.

We had two bedrooms and a kitchen fitted over the summer. The staged payment system took a little bit of faith, initial deposit, manufacturing deposit, surveyors fee, pay the fitters when theyre done etc.
Surveyors were fine, nice men. The kitchen surveyor found something that should have been put on the fuse box which incurred extra expense, this was negotiated and was then taken off the bill. The fitter said that we needed something else and we ended up paying an additional £100-00 to the fitter. This should have been picked up in the survey, we were in a diffiult position, argue with the fitter when all the materials are here and the house is in bits or take his word. He was probably right but its the sort of surprise that you should have to deal with on the spot.. There are no issues with the quality of the fit its really good, fitters were respectful and well humoured. The upstands we ordered didnot arrive and steve came round as promised and put them on when they did. Another leap of faith which worked out well. Steve even had a look at some lights wich blew by coincidence at the same time and helped us sort them.
Verdict is really good value, not oversold at the begining, good quality work, good men fitting it.
Deliveries were on time and communication was good phoneing to let us know when delivery was due and on the day as well to confirm. Only problem here was that the upstands didnt arrive. This was sorted quickly, but not quick enough for them to be fitted at the same time as the rest of the kitchen. Delivery guys were great.
Bedroom fitters were excellent covered all the floors etc did a great job, were friendly and helpful we were well pleased with the way they understood we had to live in the house while the work was being done
We were looking for a home office and had visited a number of showrooms including Rhino and Spacemaker. We came across the new Betta Living Thurrock showroom and was very impressed with the Quality of the products on show. We decided to book a visit and get a quote. The salesman helped us with our choice of design and colours and gave us a competitive price. We signed up and the surveyor arrived to carry out the final site measure, again very efficient and tweaked the design without any additional cost to ourselves. The office was delivered 3 days prior to the fitting day. Two days had been allowed for the installation. Our fitter was Warren Lee he arrived on time was neat tidy and his workmanship excellent ! I am a Carpenter by trade and construction Clerk of Works so inspect this type of work daily and I can say that Warren is first class. Betta Living kept us informed at all stages with phone call and emails.
If I have to be critical on anything (and I do ;-)) it would be the way in which the customer is responsible for the removal of the cardboard packing that the units come in. I can imagine that this could be a major event on bigger projects. My wife and I would like to thank all concerned especially Warren we are extremely happy with our new office and would recommend Betta Living to anyone !
I have been very impressed with the service from start to finish. The sales staff were very friendly and the surveyor very helpful in ensuring the design fitted well and fulfilled the storage needs I had requested. The fitter Phil Coulthurst has done an excellent job and despite it taking slightly longer than expected I am more than happy with the finished result and am pleased it was not rushed.
I would definitely recommend to others and will be looking to have my kitchen fitted in the future.
Do not sign any contract with Betta Living.
I signed a contract, because I trusted the salesman; he repeated several times that there is cancellation policy.
Actually, it is stated on the contract, as well.
Later, considering the poor design that the salesman did during the appointment, and considering that he did not even came with samples (or catalogs!) of colors, handlers, etc., I changed my mind.
So, I cancelled my contract (according to the terms and conditions), but I did not have my deposit back, because Betta Living, simply ignores the contract.
Having bought a house (without any furniture) two months ago, I really did not need to meet such a crooked company!
And I really did not want to waste time with consumer associations, small claim court, etc.!

I have used this company before to fit bedrooms and therefore had no hesitation in using them again after my recent house move.
Quality product, quality fitting and very helpful with regard to fitting dates.
If I have any concerns, it was the delivery which was 7.30 am on a Sunday morning. Perhaps this issue should be discussed with your delivery company.
On the whole a great service, the fitter went the extra mile and had some good ideas which improved the original design.

I had wardrobes fitted and was satisfied enough to recommend Betta Living to my daughter who had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fitted at a considerable cost. Unfortunately my daughter had a very bad experience whereby the work in 1 bathroom was complely unsatisfactory and she called in Betta Living and the fitters were removed from the job. Further fitters were appointed and with some work paid privately the task was completed to her satisfaction. As per the Betta Living sales prospectus I applied for the recommendation fee of £250 but was informed that over 6months had lapsed and I would not be receiving it. At this stage I consulted the Regional Manager Jai Dhana who saw NO reason why the sum should not be paid and gave me the number of Customer Services. I then became involved with Mrs Leslie Cheetham who was most helpful together with her Manager and after some considerable time and numerous phone calls I have eventually received the £250 . I do believe that without the help of Mrs Cheetham I would never have received that money.
Everything was fitted to a very high stanard and the workmen that we had kept everywhere clean and tidy. From the plasterers to the actually kitchen fitters were poliete and freindly. Would deffinetly recomend them to anyone and everyone thinking of getting a new kitchen done. Well done Betta Living for having such a good work force. Keep it up.

Very happy about our new wardrobes, the fitter Allan Furlong was fantastic and worked hard to finish it all in one day. The only downside was the fact the wardrobes were delivered five days before fitting which in our small house proved a nightmare. But overall very pleased with finished product.
The service provided from the sales rep to the fitters and through to customer services has been a very good experience. My wardrobes look fantastic and a small issue was resolved promptly by Tony in customer services. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new bedroom.

Very pleased with our kitchen , the fitters certainly knew what they were doing , very clean n tidy job they even left us a brush , good job from start to finish , no problems with anything .
I was very pleased with the whole process from visiting the showroom to the installation.
The planner, Louise,came and listened to what the girls wanted for their bedrooms and then suggested ideas and combinations until both were satisfied with the outcome.
The surveyor went over all aspects of the job and made sure i fully understood what we were getting.
The fitter Stuart Coleman was punctual, courteous and very professional. He told me from the start any problems he envisaged and talked me through what was going on. He worked late to ensure the timeline was met. A thoroughly professional job done to perfection.
The girls are so pleased and can't wait to show their friends their new wardrobes.

The whole process from begining to end went very smoothly and efficiently and took just 18 days.
I visited the Showroom in Warrington on Saturday 24/08/13, the Designer came 25/08/13 and the Surveyor 28/08/13. Units were delivered 10.09.13 and then fitted 11.09.13 by a very proffesional and friendly John Dunn.
The designer recommended variations to my original plan and I went with his ideas. I originally wanted sliding doors but the floor in the bedroom is not solid and was told eventually this would cause the doors to not slide smoothly. Although the price was rather more than I wanted to pay I was told the goods and finish reflect the price and they do.
The surveyor was very efficient and explained once again how everything would work, including approx six weeks for the installtion unless they had a slot before hand.
We got a suprise call to say that the installation could be done on 12/09/13. Everything went smoothly and I appreciate what a great job was done from start to finish.
I can not praise John enough for the excellent job he did. It took him longer than he expected because of our "dodgy" bedroom floor that slightly moves, As he aligned things up and then went back to fit they were not quite aligned. But being a great fitter and proud in his work he re-aligned and made a brilliant job. He worked very hard and did a perfect and proffesional job.
We have been very impressed with the service right from start to finish. The surveyor and delivery of materials and the time scale in which the job was promised to be completed was spot on. Our fitter, Andy Jenks, did a fantastic job. He was very respectful and his craftsmanship was undoubtedly the best we have seen. The wardrobes look lovely and we were pleased with the company's service and the Andy's work.

I thought treat myself to a new bedroom back in May, signed contracts awaiting a call for installation. I had to go into the showroom to ask what was happening due to feeling to cancel the order down to no one contacting me. I got bombared with calls the very same day, telling me I couldn't cancel due to signing a contract and was spoken to in a bad way like I was at fault. After the non stop calls I thought I had to allow the fitting cos I signed. The fitting went ahead on July 1st-2nd after an apology from Karen Lund whom put the whole delay to my order down to my bed I had also ordered thru Betta Living. Meanwhile on the 30th June I broke my foot and was put in a plaster until 8th August. I realized after the fitting that the internal wardrobes were not finished off as shown from the brochure, unleveled panel against my window, no proper partition put between my SO CALLED Walkin in wardrobe and boiler, bottom of wardrobe grazing against my carpet now, only given 3 shelves instead of 4 and a draw that falls apart if tilted forwards or backwards and many other issues. Down to all these issues I tried my hardest to relay my concerns thru they put me back in contact with Chris Pinkney whom I spoke to and emailed pics in july and Aug. Most times he never got back to me and kept saying no one was answering my fone which is untrue because I'm a Store Manager whom runs a team of plus 25 and haven't had any phone problems. Again I made several visits to the show room which has got me no where. I finally got hold of Chris Pinkney again to ask what was happening with my bed that I re ordered again on the 19th July, Chris chased this and we confirmed that it would me delivered 7am, Monday to which I rearranged my shift and organised for a inspector to come to my home address on the 20th August to take photos and rectify. To my surprise the bed got delivered after to fails, couldn't deliver at 7am then 18pm finally got it at 22:45pm on 19th August, also had the inspector come a day early and see the job himself on the 19th August approx 19pm. I received a call from Chris by Thursday saying he will look into report ang get back to me after Bank holidays in August. Never heard from him so I went into show room again to let them know again on 3rd Sept, within 2 hours got a call from Dan a surveyor saying Chris is on holidays, my parts are being ordered and I should get a call from Chris by end of week. Today is 11th Sept 2013 and still NO CALL not to mention still an uncomplete bedroom Which Hitachi Finance have already taken out payments for. I really don't want anyone expereince what I have and Still Am.

I was pleased with the advice I received right from the start which was us looking in the Warrington show room, the lady in there advised me against the sliding door wardrobes and showed me other units to get the best use of the space we had and I am so pleased she did that as they look great!
The only hiccup we had was the designer did not show us the door samples as she should have done, she just showed me in the brochure. I chose the cream door thinking they were the mid sheen ones I had seen in the show room, I didn't realise I had in fact chosen bog standard cream with no gloss. It was only when the surveyor showed me the sample that I realised they had quoted the wrong finish of wardrobe. As the finance had already gone through I had to pay an extra £275 up front. I did feel this was quite a lot to be expected to find as this was not down to my error.
Delivery of the items went smoothly except the 7.30 am on a Sunday morning slot we were given without any warning!
The fitters Ken and Tommy Delves were brilliant. They arrived early and just got on with it. They were courteous and polite and have made a great job of the wardrobes, I couldn't be happier with them. They went though all the paper work in detail with me and cleared up everything after themselves. Highly recommended from me.

We contacted bettaliving earlier this year as we decided to finally ditch our 30+ year old bedroom and upgrade to a smart clean style.
On visiting the bettaliving show room at meadowhall we were welcomed by the sales advisor and left to look around by ourselves. After a short while the advisor asked if there was anything she could do / any questions we had, and we took this opportunity to delve further into some of the displays in the showroom. At no time was the advisor pushy and took time to answer all of our questions. We then arranged for a surveyor to visit and a date and time were set, also we were advised that this visit could take up to 2 hours as the surveyor would need to measure the room and draw up plans based on our requirements.
The surveyor arrived on the date and time agreed and took us through the design process and explained all the options available to us. Once complete we were taken through our chosen design and advised that a further visit would be required by the main surveyor who would carry out a check on the design agreed in order to ensure that all required elements would work. This visit took place within the space of a week and a full design drawn up and all elements of the details agreed.
The timescale for the furniture installation was agreed (we required this to be 6 months from this date).
Time passed and as agreed we were contacted closer to the installation date to check that this was still OK, we confirmed this was fine.
Th date for delivery of all the furniture was agreed and it arrived on that date and time with the delivery ops ringing prior to arrival. All furniture was delivered to the agreed location with no damage to either the new furniture or our existing walls with a full check carried out by the delivery ops before they left.
The fitter contacted us on the day before installation to advise the time he would be arriving and this was agreed. The fitter arrived at the time agreed and after a short discussion and review of the works area 'cracked on' with the job. The fitting process took 2 days as advised and the fitter worked v hard over both days. We must say that we were very impressed not only with the effort put in the install the new units but at the way in which he took care in keeping any noise and Dust down to a minimum and with little or no breaks (even though he had a 2 hour drive each way he worked 10 hours each day).
On completion of the installation we were taken through all of the new units and advised how to look after them and shown how the units operated before we signed off the fitters sheet.
We would highly recommend bettaliving to anyone thinking of having a new bedroom fitted.
I just bought this new home and without a wardrobe in two rooms and my wife ran into betterliivng and we engaged them to help with a wardrobe. I'm dazed beyond expression at the expertise and skills demonstrated by Phil and Jimmy. They are are such an amazing team and I was so thrill by what they do such that I jokingly asked to be taken as an apprenticeship.
They have turned the whole house into a 5 star hotel. I'm so glad for what they have done

I've rated 4 star but this stars actually belong to the fitter.
I didn't enjoy the overall experience with betta living. The designer was ok but the customer service down to delivery is very questionable, no one told me i was going to pay the surveyor separately. It then took over 3 weeks to get a refund. When i was cross and wanted to cancel i was pressured to keep the contract, thus leaving me to hope for the best.
Shane Wilson (regional manager) said he would make sure every thing went smoothly but as soon as i signed the contract and posted it, my emails were never replied .
I didn't enjoy the fact the furniture were delivered long before the fitting day causing me inconvenience on those days.
The fitter was nice and courteous and very chatty making the process fun rather than boring. I would recommend Andy Jenks as he did a brilliant job. wardrobes look very nice and neat!

I was very pleased with Heath the fitter who came out to fit both my children's bedrooms. I found the advice he gave me was so much better than the designer and surveyor that had come out to me previously.
He arrived on time in the morning and was very patient because the furniture arrived 6 hours late.
He was vey professional and left everything clean and tidy.
I would recommend him time and time again.
First time purchase from Betta living where we had a wardrobe fitted in the master bedroom. From the sales person who explained all issues, the designer, fitter and the after care team... First class, I would have no hesitation using this firm again. Great product!

The Head Office team could do with a refresher course in customer service do's and dont's. I had a few telephone conversations with the team from Head Office and in summary I would not call them again unless there are no other alternative. Bosses, I would not take this as a problem of the staff themselves, but usually issues like this reflect the level of investment in staff. Suggestion is to spend a bit more on staff training etc.
The Accounting department gave me a bit of unnecessary delay as well. By not having appropriate reconciliation controls in place for BACS payments meant there was a delay in transferring funds into my account. The way the situation was dealt with was a bit disappointing. There was a strong insistence that the payment was made to my account and I told to check my bank account as the transfer was made. I felt like I had just committed a crime. A better way should have been to apologise for the inconvenience then to say the matter would be investigated after which time I'd be contacted. This may be a bit surprising, but there are still individuals in the UK who appreciate basic politeness from their suppliers.
Also, still waiting to get a response back from HO about the Kylie bedding I was told I would get upon completion of the job.
My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new fitted wardrobe. The designers and installation consultant were very considerate and recommended slight variations to our original plans that made the end product first class. When it came to installation the fitter phoned the day before and everything was ready for him. I cleared the bedroom, rolled up the carpet and carried each package from the garage to the first floor bedroom so that the fitter could hit the ground running. The fitter arrived on the dot at 7.30am and finished at 2pm. He was first class. No mess and everything fitted perfectly. I would highly recommend this company.
We bought a kitchen from Bettaliving a few years ago. The price was great and the kitchen was delivered on time and installed with no issues.
However as with all material things, things do at times break or go wrong and this is why I think Bettaliving stand out from other kitchen companies. Why? because of their aftercare.
Our dishwasher caused some problems which ruined the work top. This turned out to be a major job as it meant replacing the whole worktop. To make things worse the worktop was tucked under a splash back. However Steve Healy at their head office listened to us, accepted responsibility and was prepared to send us a new work top together with a couple of drawer fronts which had been affected too. We specifically requested a fitter called Joe whom we had been very happy with before. This fitter is a hard worker and a gentleman who listens to you and is prepared to explain calmly what he is doing and why he is doing it, without cutting corners. Joe turned up right on time today and spent the whole day replacing the work top and the drawer fronts, all part of the guarantee. I can definitely recommend this company, they listen to you and are prepared to go the extra mile.
JOB NUMBER 494688 The Sales Designer Keith Wilson listened to my ideas and what I wanted, the surveyer, Russ, was very precise and conciencious and even called the following day to clarify measurements. Karen in the office was very professional and put a smile on my face, such a lovely person.
The delivery arrived on the right day and the drivers even rang an hour before they arrived!!!
I now have a very small room full of lots of wood............oh dear......the end result depends on how good the fitter is.........I had no need to worry John Dunn did an amazing job and managed to do it in the smallest bedroom ever!!!
I was very nervous about spending so much money but I had no need to worry I am more than happy with my Betta Living bedroom and my daughter is REALLY happy! (Phew.... that makes life easier for me!!)
From start to finish , excellent service. Most impressed by the quality of the kitchen units.
Keith and his team were fantastic . Quick , Clean and precise. If any one is having a kitchen fitted ask for Keith to fit it .

Angelina who was the designer was very professional friendly and pitched the sale just right not pushy at all.Stu the joiner was also excellent going out of his way to be helpful, extremely tidy and the finished product looks beautiful , I will use bettaliving again when I come to replace my kitchen.
