good overview

not as good as my tour in San Francisco; guides not as knowledgable or maybe just not as much to say about Las Vegas. Hard to time things well, so end up waiting a lot. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen; got a nice lopsided sunburn on my neck and one shoulder

Excelente!

Great way to spend few hours. Lear about the history and facts of Las Vegas from a very funny and educated staff. Our tour guide: Ernesto Romero was great.

Great bus driver and tour guide

Hey, I just wanted you to know I took an awesome tour of Vegas on the Night Bus Tour. Although it was very cold, our tour guide was sweet and funny! The bus driver was great too! The bus on the other hand not so good. Seat were uncomfortable, sitting for 2.5 hours is hard on the seats. The bus stalled in the middle of Las Vegas Blvd, and the back door was broken that it was stuck open the whole tour. We sought cover only to find the draft was just as bad due to the broken door.
Once you do the tour you have a good idea of where most things are. I would take notes just as I did because we knew right where to go to find what we needed.

TOUR GUIDES VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING

Loved the tour-learned alot. There's so much morre than I thought. Never got the chance to do the downtown tour or the night tour. The only thing I wished is that there were more stops.

Thank You For Making My Wife's Night Time Tour Wonderful!

Phil (Our Guide) and Freddie (Our Driver)....and the young LADY at the Excalibur responsible for getting us on the right Bus....LOL...We road up top with a wonderful international group of people.... as far away as Saudi Arabia, Russia, and of course within the United States....Phil gave an Unbelievable tour! Loved the ol' school approach to Vegas...His Jokes with the group and his Comedic Fun were very delightful and refreshing...Thank You Phil for leading us ALL (the Group) into a Happy Birthday Song for my wife (Hello , Hello...Kathy)...You Sir (and the others involved in our Big Bus Tour) are a GREAT AMERICANs! even though it was past our bedtime by the time we finished.....:o)

Informative and very enjoyable

I really enjoyed all the information and the humour and casualness of the guide on the night tour. On the day hop on hop off I would say the majority of the guides were good however a couple were annoyed when we tried to Carry on a conversation within our group. There needs to be more balance between the goals of the guide and the customers goals. We were trying to discuss where we wanted to get off, additionally it was awkward when getting on and off, I am happy to tip but Not at every stop,

Great service and worth every penny!

We got the buy one day get the next free. Excellent option! We did one route Monday and one route Tuesday. Both guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. We were able to take the info we learned to others in our group, so they made us look goooood... LOL.
We didn't really use the hop on/hop off option, but could easily see how it would make moving about Las Vegas very simple. We had a great time!

Excellent and all we expected!

We have enjoyed the "Big Bus" in London, New York, Shanghai and Hong Kong previously and the Las Vegas operation met the same expectations.

We had a two day pass and enjoyed the Strip (on and off) on Day 1 and the Downtown Tour on the second day. The guide who accompanied us (Saturday March 22) was new (born in Mexico, big guy) and was great but he made an error insomuch as he stated for that day, the downtown schedule would be every 20 minutes instead of the usual half hour which turned out to be incorrect. The guide who picked us up at the Golden Nugget said the previous guide had been on the "Strip" schedule and maybe assumed both routes were every 20 minutes.

We had a great time and look forward to a return to Vegas sooner than later!

Excellent way to see the sights

We went on the red and blue routes around Las Vegas and enjoyed both, the commentaries were excellent, we hopped on and off, but one was so funny we just wanted to stay and listen to him! We also went on the evening tour, a great experience.

I didn't get the tour on the Big Bus, you didn't show at the reserve time

On March 16th, I waited for the 7:30, Las Vegas Night tour, pick up time at the Hard Rock Hotel bus stop on street. I was there from 7:15 till 7:45 pm. No bus showed. May I have my refund?

Tour guide talked too much about herself

The first time we used the Big Bus the guide was fabulous, but unfortunately we got off the bus half way through the route and then had a guide who mainly talked about herself and faced backwards so told the passengers about things after we had gone past them. Also had difficulty locating the stops as they are not on the roads, but in parking bays.

What a great and safe way to get the lay of the land, and some interesting facts!

We had so much fun on the Big Bus in Vegas. We hopped aboard the 1st bus that came around, and road both the Strip loop and the Downtown loop. Jena was very knowledgable, and her driver -I think- Jimmy piloted the bus with great care. We also rode with Susan and Freddy, who were delighted to show us around their city. Angelina gave us good advice on when the next bus would be by. Oh wait, there was also a guy named Phil, who was amazing with languages and spoke with some of the patrons in their native tongue. I'm sure that made them feel welcomed. If only the days would have been longer.....

A great way to see Vegas, but a missed opportunity

My wife and I have used open top city bus tours in many locations around the world, so were keen to experience the Vegas version. The tour routes are well placed, providing an excellent overview of the key sites. Both drivers and guides were generally helpful and friendly; having a real person explain the sites rather than a recorded monologue was a definite 'plus'. In our opinion, Phil was the best guide, providing excellent information mixed with a wonderful sense of humour. We booked in advance from the UK so were given a two day tour for the price of one; good value, albeit possibly expensive if the extra day wasn't included.

So why only 3 stars? Well, trying to locate any of the bus stops using the map from BigBus's website proved nearly impossible. Even when asking someone from the Wynn hotel where the bus stopped (the BigBus map showed a stop on the Strip) he pointed us in the wrong direction (the bus stops off the Strip in a side entrance to the hotel). Driving round on the bus we noted that most were not readily obvious (at one stop someone had hung their coat over the BigBus sign).

Then we (along with a number of passengers) missed a bus because it didn't stop at the right place and then ignored us all running after it. To be fair, when the next bus arrived the crew (especially the lady driver; sorry I can't recall your name) dealt with the matter promptly and arranged for us to have a free night tour.

Why a missed opportunity? We have a number of friends and colleagues who have visited Vegas numerous times, but not one of them has ever heard of the BigBus or seen advertising or bus stops while in Vegas. I appreciate there are a 'million' things all competing for one's time and money in Las Vegas, but I think the BigBus could do so much better. Would I recommend using the bus? Yes. but check carefully where the bus stops are.

It was a great experience!

I bought one of the tickets that was good for two days, and used it both days. It was a very positive experience! The tour guides were knowledgeable and funny, and it was so much better than listening to some old audio recording, like some buses have. The second day I accidently left my ticket back in my hotel room (4 blocks away), and was worried that I could not board the bus without it. But the man at the bus stop was able to contact his superiors and print me out a new ticket with no problem. I was so relieved! I am 67 and did not relish walking back to the hotel.
Overall, I was very pleased with your company and the tour itself.
