I ordered a bunch of roses for my Mum's birthday 10 days ago. They arrived on time, beautifully displayed and have lasted very well. I would recommend to anybody looking for great value for money, great products and a friendly service.
i ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered for my sisters 80th birthday when i went to visit i was so disappointed there was not many flowers more greenery .i had ordered a balloon to that was tiny on a little bent stick .
i rang them and complained and they told me to send a photo which i did there reply was that a certain number of flowers were in the bunch and that was it .
i felt ashamed of them among my sisters other flowers .i would never order off of them again there flowers are not like the pictures.only wish i had read the reviews first.
I ordered flowers and a happy birthday balloon from bloomindelightful.co.uk last Thursday evening(24-1-13) about 6.30pm . i asked for delivery of the flowers on the Saturday (26-1-13) everything went through and i got the usual thank you email and invoice. come Saturday no flowers or balloon turn up at my mums for her birthday. I emailed them asking why the delivery had not been made and expressed my unhappiness in there company for not getting my 73 year old mums flowers to her on her birthday. today i received an email saying sorry but its my fault there not there orders placed after 5pm can not go on the next day delivery . well i did not ask for next day i asked for the Saturday not the Friday ( they are that useless they dont even no the days of the week) and then said they might not even be going out till mondays delivery so might have them Tuesday . five days to deliver flowers and that's not including the Thursday night i could of walked from Swansea to Sheffield in that time and delivered them by hand. i will give you a tip DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS AND REPORT THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS AND THEN THEY MIGHT GO AWAY
Minus 5 stars from me! I received a very badly damaged box, which was wet through at about 9:15 at night.
Flowers inside where squashed, some had dead leaves on them and some heads were already drooping. This was supposed to be a mixed bouquet of roses, sent to me by a relative following an operation. I was in better condition than the flowers were!!
Tried to ring Bloomingdelightful the very next morning and was on hold for 20 minutes before I put the phone down. During that time a recorded voice came on saying "Thank you for holding your call is important to us". I tried on three more occasions and still the phone wasn't answered. I then resorted to E-mail as instructed should one wish to complain. Didn't get a reply! Waited a few days and sent another this time with pictures of the damaged box and the sad wilting flowers. GUESS WHAT! No reply.
Given the terrible reviews the company has you would think they would try and make amends.
MY ADVICE IS STEER WELL CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have used other online sites myself and never had to complain yet.
BLOOMINGDELIGHTFUL IS A BLOODY JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!
I only wish I had read the reviews before thinking I would save some money by choosing 'Bloomin' Delightful' instead of paying for a more reliable company like Interflora.
I ordered the 'Scented Freesias Bouquet' for £16.99 to arrive for my boyfriend's mum's birthday on Saturday 19 January yet they arrived a day early, ruining the surprise. I was then sent an image of the flowers and they did not look nearly as good as advertised. There was fewer stems, foliage and the majority of the buds were open. They weren't even presented as well, arriving in just clear cellophane.
I emailed my complaint, which struck up a dialogue with Martina, the Customer Service Manager. She explained that they post the flowers 2 days in advance of the requested delivery date with Royal Mail therefore saying it was Royal Mail's fault they were early. Apparently it says this on their website, but if it does it is certainly not brought to your attention when you buy. I told her it should be more prominent as if I had seen this, I would have gone somewhere who does same-day delivery. Surely flowers posted 2 days in advance will not be the freshest - especially not when most of the buds are open. They didn't seem to care. I also complained about receiving less stems so she asked for a picture.
I sent them a picture to then be told, "I do apologise but we cannot issue a refund once the items have been dispatched from us", which begs the question why ask to see a picture in the first place? This is also a ridiculous statement in itself for an online service selling fresh goods. They are admitting here that they have no refund policy at all, if you are not happy with the service you can like it or lump it!!!
Oh also, there may be no postage cost but they do charge you a 75p card transaction fee, even for debit cards.
An overall terrible service. Emails 'apologising' were sent, however there was no effort to do anything beyond this. They have no refund policy and not even a consolation prize. It appears they write everything into their terms and conditions to cover themselves but come on, who really reads the terms and conditions of a florist?
The flowers arrived 2 days late, I wouldn't mind but I clarified the delivery address twice, I had confirmation from blooming delightful that the flowers would be delivered 'next day'.
They delivered the flowers on a Friday (2 days late), I did not get any phone call from this company or their delivery company yodel. The recipient of the flowers was not even at the delivery address until the following Monday, the flowers were almost 5 days old before they were received by my friend the following Monday.
On top of this I order their extra big bunch (33% extra) which of course I paid more money for. When I saw the flowers they were horrendous, cheap and were not even put together nicely.
Customer service has been terrible, they initially blamed me for providing a wrong address. I had all the email correspondence from when I ordered the flowers which proved their accusation was completely incorrect. They then said they would check to see what happened with their delivery company. I have emailed them several times, again and again a different customer representive will eventually reply and every time they have been VERY UNHELPFUL verging on being rude.
I WOULD ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY, ALTHOUGH IT MAY SEEM LIKE VALUE FOR MONEY, YOU WILL SEE FROM CUSTOMER REVIEWS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICE YOU ARE PAYING FOR.
Same story as everyone else- and what to do if this happens to you!
I ordered 'next day' flowers for three days' time, they never showed up, firm tries to blame Royal Mail, I point out that my contract is with them, they say "We issue refunds after six weeks once the package is returned by Royal Mail" - six weeks later I have to ask again (of course) - "the product was returned but is no longer in a saleable condition" (no SH*T Sherlock!).
I say "nonsense". I catch the one honest person there (probably the newest employee!) who emails an apology and promise of a refund -Hooray!
... a week later "Where's this refund please?" - "I'm a manager - the last message was a mistake; no refund coming and refer to previous statements".
So I don't get upset, simply shrug, ring my bank (Santander, on the ball this time as it happens) and claim a VISA CHARGEBACK (this is protection against fraud EVEN ON DEBIT CARDS - USE THIS!) - for non-delivered goods. Money back straight away - an affadavit to sign and post back, with copies of all these emails, later on. This is why phone calls are not as good as emails in disputes.
Final thing to do: email to this bunch of thieving cowboys: "See, you thieving tosspots, don't **** with the informed consumer - we have rights and we know them. This was only, after all, SIXTEEN POUNDS we were taking about - enjoy your cheap, shabby lives if you have to argue over that".
Don't let them hide behind 'Distance Selling Reglations don't apply to fresh flowers' - this is only true if they are delivered and you change your mind for no reason. If they are not delivered, this is moot. If they are not satisfactory, such as 7 stems for 'large bouquet', then you CAN return them - but make sure you write stating this, and keep a copy.
I'm going to visit their actual premises and have a go at them next time I'm passing - see how they like it (19 Clock Tower Estate, Clock Tower Road, Isleworth, Middlesex TW7 6GF)
Anyway.. a victory for the honest consumer.
Bought the 30% bigger bunch - naturally assumed it would be bigger than the photo on the website. WRONG - turned out to be much SMALLER than the photo on the website. They told me the standard bunch has 7 stems but the photo on the website looks to have 17 or more stems - clear deliberately misleading customers. I complained but got stone-walled by their customer services manager - no interest in rectifying the problem or refunding. STAY AWAY.
I've ordered 2 lots of flowers from here. First lot were lovely and arrived on time.
Second lot arrived on time however they died really quickly. The petals on the roses were brown (probably where they had been frozen or stored). These were sent to my Mum, and even SHE phoned the company to complain (without me knowing). Don't bother calling the company as you will be on hold for the whole morning listening to a recorded message telling you that your call is important to them! After 20 minutes of that I lost the will to live and sod the dead brown flowers!
AVOID AVOID AVOID
I ordered flowers on a Sunday for delivery the following Wednesday. I ordered before I read the reviews and once I'd read them was worried my flowers wouldn't turn up or they'd be of poor quality etc. I was pleasantly surpirsed, they turned up on the right day, were wonderfully presented and my friend loved them.
The flowers were sent to wrong address as they had put the wrong house number on the parcel.
Bloomin delightful refused a refund even though IT WAS THEM who had sent them there!!!
I have since found there is a facebook group entitled 'close down blooming delightful' . I wish I had seen it before i wasted my time and money.
After complaining about non delivery, I was told to check the 'yodel' website to see if it had been delivered even though they knew it was being sent to the wrong address!!!!!
They are cheap for a reason.....

I have informed them that they are breaking the distance selling regulations and also next day guarentee contract then i was replied with well i have offered you a new bouquet thats all i can do kind reguards . I will in future give a family member who lives close to my mother to go to florists to buy sum for me i will be staying away from this company and i would advise anybody else to as well .poor customer service extremely poor attitude and dead flowers and how can they say they can send a bouquet out today to arrive tomorrow if they could not even do it in the first place. trust me they dont deserve a star u should be able to give minus stars
ordered 12 red roses for my girlfriend, not at valentines day so no excuse for running out, what arrived were dead orange roses, 1 red rose and some manky white ones, my girlfriend understandbly not impressed, e mailed to complain and they ignored my first email, e mailed again, and they have said they reserve the right ti substitute if stock not available, i would have appreciated knowing this beforehand, and actually not of the same value as most were dead, poor service, apalling customer service skills, do not use
I can't tell you how unhappy I am with the service that I have received from this company - and I really wish I had read the reviews below first! I ordered some flowers for my best friend's birthday and they never turned up. I tracked the order and was told that they were 98% likely to arrive the next day but if not they would definitely be delivered on the 3rd day but they never came. Apparently they are delivered by Royal Mail - They were being delivered to an office with a reception that is manned from 8am-7pm and no red card has been left.
I phoned and left a message and no one got back to me so I emailed customer services. Communication from the manager has been extremely poor - with her only half responding to my questions, until finally I received the following:
If you require the refund, we need to wait 3-4 weeks for the items to be returned back to our company. Then we will find out what was the reason why your flowers were not delivered. If we are responsible for non delivery, we will be able to offer you a refund. However if we are not responsible for non delivery ( the reason will be for example, incomplete or incorrect delivery details, or the recipient didn’t call for the items, etc…..), we will be unable to offer you any compensation.
3-4 weeks!!!! Unbelievable - I definitely will never use these people again!!!
Right... I ordered some flowers for my wifes birthday five days in advance. I specified the delivery date, it came and went. I emailed the company and was told that there's a 98% chance that it'll be delivered the following day (nice random statistic, thanks). It came a day late (by Royal Mail).
My wife opened the box and it was a real disappointment to see her face. The flowers were all dead and although I ordered 10 roses, there were about 7. The plastic wrapping was also nothing like it was in the web photo. It looked like something you'd find in a cemetery bin.
I emailed them to ask for a refund and was offered "a lovely seasonal bouquet" by a person called Natasha Heera. I told her I didn't want any further business with them, only my money back. I was then told that I'd have to return the flowers in their original packaging....like it's a plasma TV! I told her that the flowers had to be disposed of as they were a health hazard with flies etc. She was curt and dismissive. I called the company, no answer, then was on hold for nearly 15 minutes so I gave up. I iemailed her again to tell her to call me, I got an email saying "as a gesture of my good nature I will refund your money".
The money was eventually refunded but the occasion was missed. I know what I'd have preferred...
Please take heed and avoid this company like the plague. It's an absolute joke. I also ordered a balloon and it was tiny. The pictures are extremely misleading. You do not get what you see online.
I'm using Interflora next time. I suggest you do the same. Thanks for reading and I hope I've saved you the toil and stress of what should be a simple and celabratory situation.
ordered 12red roses bouquet with congratulations balloon to be delivered on the monday , it finally arrived on the wednesday. when my daughter opened the box the flower heads were off and rotting with no water in the container !!! the balloon was size of tuppence nothing like the picture. when i complained they aked for pics which i sent but couldnt be recieved as the company mailbox was full. finally recieved them but wouldnt give the refund i asked for until i sent the bouquet back in original packing !!! which as it was all rotten and we couldnt use it we binned it ,so what did they reply , yes u,ve guessed no refund!!!i,m going to get in touch with the fair trading about this company as if i had read all these bad reviews i would never have ordeed from them .
Pink Radiance - Birthday Balloon & Bouquet 30% Extra 1 £25.00
Wont use them again and advise any of you guys to avoid them at all costs, wish I had read reviews before using.
First - arrived day early so had to get post office to redeliver next day - spoilt mums birthday surprise.
Second - poor quality and poor quantity of flowers. I could have got same for £5 from supermarket. Quantity that is.
Have emailed them pics etc see if they step up to the plate and give refund.
Have relunctantly given 1 star as unable to give zero!!
Ordered my mother flowers for mothers day she didnt get them. I ordered them on the saturday (the company was advertising still delivering for mothers day or I wouldnt have ordered) I emailed them Tuesday and they responded by telling me the flowers should be delivered at the latest on Wednesday. It is now Thursaday 22nd and my mother still has no flowers. I wish I had read the watchdog report on this company before I ordered.
I asked for 12 red roses a I love you balloon and a I love you teady bear to be delivered to my girlfriend on the 20th of march I paid £35 for theses Items and my girlfriend as not received her gift as of yet, after looking at some disturbing reviews of your company online I am considering legal action against your company if these items are not delivered within the next few days and if they are not in good order

Received delivery of Mother's Day flowers on 16th. Contacted firm at once to complain about unsatisfactory quality. Many were limp & tired, the worst were blackened & dead looking. Got immediate e-mail response asking for photographs which were sent off within 30 minutes. Since then I have had no response & all attempts to send emails have been unsuccessful (delivery failure notification suggests that computers have been turned off) & it is impossible to contact by telephone. I understand the company has still not delivered other flowers sent 4 or 5 days ago by my daughter-in-law to her mother. Bloomindelightful!! Bloomingdreadful.
I ordered a bouquet for my friends birthday. I opted for the florists special bouquet and paid an extra £5,00 for 30% more flowers. I also included a balloon, which turn out to be the size of a cup coaster!! The flowers were delivered on time, but were nothing like the bouquet they advertise online. They were not wrapped as decribed and contained only a small number of flower, some of which were wilted. I emailed the company with a picture to query this and they asked for another! I sent a further picture and they emailed to tell me that the bouquet was as it should be. When I emailed again stating how unhappy I was with this they said that I could receive a refund if the flowers were returned in their original condition!! This would seem to be unlikely as they were a gift! AVOIID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.
