I have received prepaid envelope after a day after that I place order. Moreover, I receive an email telling of the revised price offer due to crack on the screen which I already knew about it, after a few calls and communication it's okay now. Awful experience, will not be using again.
They initially offered me £55 for my iPod. As my item apparently arrived to Bozowi after their '14 day quote guarantee period' they sent me a ridiculous revised offer of £1. I sent them an email asking for my device back and told them I did not accept this revised offer of £1. I got no reply and my device was sent for recycling and my account was credited with £1. I sent a second email querying this and managed to get a reply stating that they were acting in accordance to their T&Cs to send me such a ridiculous revised offer, at no point did they acknowledge the fact I asked for my device back. After a few more emails of me asking for my device back they finally told me it had been recycled and I cannot get it back. After writing them a letter of complaint they offered me a settlement of and extra £10 to be credited to my account. This process took weeks and I was so fed up with it I took the £10 but was still very unhappy at their service.
I would NOT use this service again simply for the fact that if your device arrives late they will send you a ridiculous revised quote.

Whilst many recyclers offer less than 7 days where they will honour their original price, we provide a 14 day window for honouring our original offer for any device. Indeed, we originally offered a 7 day period too, but we extended our offer time after feedback from customers that Royal Mail deliveries would often be unpredictable in how long they would take - since we've no control over external delivery agencies, we try and balance that out with what we *can* control, like our 14 day offer price.
The value of devices is very much dependent on laws of supply and demand, and of course the age of the device too, but we always ensure we offer the best possible deal for any phone or other piece of consumer technology recycled with us.

Bozowi offered the best price for my old phone to be recycled. Higher than many other popular phone recycling companies and was quick to deliver the sending packaging to be recycled with easy to read instructions on how the sending process would happen. I would definitely use it again and would recommend it to a friend without hesitation.

Unacceptable.
I saw the website online and thought "hm this seems good" so I applied and sent my phone in, one week later I still did not receive my payment. I sent many emails which none got a response. I proceeded to call, but no one was picking up the phone. I sent another email saying I would have to take them to court and then I called again and after the first ring someone picked up the phone and my money was in my account within a couple of minutes. I believe I would not have recieved my money if I didn't send the last email.

To briefly address the issues you've raised, we'd like to confirm that there's not been a single customer who hasn't been paid the value of their device. In fact, we're one of only three mobile phone recyclers that offer same-day payments to customers who select Bank Transfer as a payment option, so we are actually one of the promptest payers in the recycling industry.
We'd like to reassure you that the payment into your account wasn't triggered by a phone call - your selected payment option actually takes 3 to 4 days to clear, so it was in the process of moving from us to you when you spoke to one of the customer services team.
I appreciate it can be frustrating to have difficulty getting in touch via the telephone - there are times when our lines can be very busy. I've checked the phone logs for the period between you raising your order and us completing the payment and I couldn't find any issues with connection problems, and the longest hold time I found was for four minutes. Could it possibly have been prior to or after our opening times of 10am til 4 Monday to Thursday or 10 til 3 on a Friday?
I can also see that we paid you the full quoted price for your Blackberry Curve 9360 - £20 more than our two main competitors.
We'd welcome your feedback, and I look forward to speaking to you.

Great Transaction
I wouldn't hesitate to use Bozowi again or to recommend them. They were offering the best price for my mobile, Google Nexus 4, so took the plunge. The whole transaction went smoothly and I received the cheque in good time.

Does exactly what the add says
I contacted Bozowi regarding selling my old iphone as they were offering the best price, the following day they sent out an addressed envelope for me to pack and send my phone in. A couple of days after sending the package off I received notification of receipt, then a couple of days after that I received my full payment. Faultless service.

Sounds like a punch from 1960's Batman TV series but they provided a quick ann excellent service :)
I contacted them and quickly received the envelope to post my phone, I put it in sent it back and in a few days received my payment - much better than leaving that old phone in the drawer!

AWFUL!!!
I sent my phone to them as special delivery at a cost of £6.50, when they received my phone they said it has been tested and it had significant scratches on the back of the phone (general wear and tear due to it being used for 2 years) and that my phone was locked to the orange network, they then reduced the price they initially offered from £129 to £70!!
They then ask for a further £10 payment for me to get MY phone back, to begin with it only cost me £6.50 to send them, this they tell me covers admin, packaging and posting costs
I will never use this company again!! From my experience they tried to bully me into accepting a lower offer!!
But make your own mind up if you still want to use them!!!

The postal option you selected to send your device to us is one of several available to our customers. Our engineers did indeed find significant damage to your device, beyond what you would expect as general wear and tear. We do in some instances downgrade devices if they are network locked, but encourage our customers to source the unlocking code from their network (many mobile phone network providers will give this information freely to individual customers).
The return charge you've mentioned does indeed cover postage, packing and admin costs to send the device back - we always ensure that any device is securely and safely packaged, whilst also being trackable through the postal system.
All of the above points are stated in our terms and conditions, and we regret that you feel you've been bullied into accepting a lower offer. We feel we've been very transparent throughout.

Avoid like the plague; it's a waste of time and money, and offers too good to be true.
Sent my device in, which seemed to take forever to arrive, and I started to worry about the company and found a ton of bad reviews.
Eventually the device arrived, and they claimed that the device kept rebooting, and was therefore of zero value, so they reduced the offer from £25.50 to £8.00, which is below the minimum payout (though when I contacted them they said the do pay out at this level if you change to PayPal).
So I reluctantly paid to have the "faulty" device returned (£5.00), which showed up today about a week later.
When I got it back, the battery was very low, so it was functioning perfectly well when it shut down due to low battery. My guess is that the phone got switched on somehow in the post and drained it, as it never had any problem holding its charge before. In any case, it's charged up and working now.
They claim that they "gain nothing from making up faults, we give you the option to have the device returned, and we take a video of each device and each fault, so there is no room for error." No URL to the failure video was ever offered though.
The other thing to know is that the tone of their emails is rude, especially this gem:
"If any emails are worded in an abusive or threatening manner, our email filters will automatically delete these emails, please ensure that all emails are appropriately worded. "
Which basically says, that any email you send may never arrive. That inspires great confidence, as how can I threaten to take them to small claims court to recover my loss, if they'll just delete the emails.
So, you all know what I do now. Just hope you find this before you bother to send in your device.

I stand by my review. The video clearly shows that the phone was complaining of low battery.
The fact that your offer was double that of your competitors doesn't say anything of the fact it was only 1/3 of what the offer I accepted was.
And I'm now out £5 postage, and wasted time.

I can see that from the point we dispatched your pack to send in your phone until the point our engineers started testing it, twelve days had passed. We naturally can't control external factors like Royal Mail delivery times, but are sorry if you felt concerned while your phone was in transit.
I can see we were still able to offer double that of our nearest competitors for your device - and that's taking into account that their prices were for a completely faultless HTC Touch 2 T3333 and our offer for faulty one were still double.
We're sorry you find some elements of our email rude, but we don't read them as such. The section we've included is actually there to advise customers of content filters and ensure there aren't any issues that would prevent email from reaching us. Far from being accusatory or rude in and of itself, it's purely advisory to ensure good, effective communication.

NO MONEY SENT NO PHONE RETURNED SCAMMERS!
sent phone off, received email confirmation of it being received but told that the pre agreed amount was less than they send out, therefore I had to sell them another phone to receive any money. They did not offer to return the phone and they did not explain this when they made the offer to buy my phone. An absolute scam, so now I have no cash and no phone, unless I send them another phone!

I Didn't recieve the money they overed me even though I gave them the product I delivered.
I was offered the sum of up to £41 for my iPod touch 3rd generation. But for some reason they got back to me saying it was the 2nd gen even though I sent it off in the original packaging and showed them the receipt. I was given £7 instead of my £41, so pretty poor service. I'm definitely never going to use it never again and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody! EVER!

you'll see that Apple confirm that the iPod Touch you sent us is actually a second generation device, not a third generation one. You'll also see that Apple no longer provide support for this device and provide no repair or service coverage either. The 2nd Gen iPod Touch was released from 2008, whilst the 3rd Gen came out more than a year later.
The 3rd generation iPod touch had an almost twice as fast processor as the 2nd gen, double the RAM, bluetooth connectivity and voice control - all features that the 2nd gen didn't. All of these elements mean that the more recent model - which admittedly looks identical to the earlier one - is worth more than the 2nd Generation device.
We hope you'll see that the price we offered was accurate for the device we received.
