I can't wait to plan my next trip knowing that I can save on flights with budgetair.ca. It was such a relief when I finally found and booked a flight to Vancouver. It took only a few clicks and it was done! And the best part was that I saved at least 80$ compared to other sites. I do like comparing and making sure I've made the right choice, but I will for sure be looking into budgetair.ca again!

Cheapest airfares to Europe and South America
BudgetAir is the cheapest! First we got our flight tickets through BudgetAir to Europe ...we recently booked our trip to Chile through BudgetAir.

best deal I found for air travel!
Best deal I found to go from ottawa to new york. It was the best times as well. Bugetair was over 100$ cheaper then expedia etc...I would have given it 5 stars but the checkout for credit card info wasn't working and I had to call in in order to book,which I didn't really have time to do and the guy on the other end couldn't speak englis well. It made a hard time communicating.

Booked a flight to Rome
Used the budgetair website to book a flight from Strasbourg to Rome while still in Canada. I found the site easy to use, by far offered the lowest fare flight and received a quick e-mail confirmation. I was a little concerned that airline won't honour the on line third party booking, as the return flight consisted of 3 separate flights (one was a connector), and operated by 3 airlines. The price was quite low, so I was a little on the sceptical side. However I experienced zero problems, I checked in on the airlines website and printed the boarding passes for each flight, and all went without any hitch. My experience with budgetair was a very good one, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the site again.

My niece was getting married at the last minute in Las Vegas, and I really wanted to attend, but after countless hours of searching for a cheap flight, I came to the realization that I would not be able to afford the prices all the travel web sites were offering. was just about to give up when I stumbled across BudgetAir.ca. Good value.
My partner and I were searching for decently priced flights to Paris. After much searching we were finally able to find one through Budget Air. It fit our budget and timeframes. And we flew with Air France, which was late both going and on the way back -- but that obviously doesn't reflect on Budget Air. Highly recommend!

Great Price and Nice Catch!
I was desperately looking for a cheap way to get to Chicago from Toronto. I tried every website - nothing worked (so many expensive options!) Just before getting completely hopeless and cancelling my trip, I found BudgetAir. Got a United Airlines round trip at a reasonable price, and most importantly, the flight times worked quite well with my schedule so I didn't have to cancel anything. I will definitely check BudgetAir first for my next trip!

I was researching prices on the Internet for flights for us and two other couples...BudgetAir had the best price!! And I found their website very easy to use! I hadn't used them before for other flights, but now that I have found them I will use them first!

Broken website and not helpful at all!!
I purchased a ticket for my dad. I double checked the name was correct as this was my very first on-line air ticket purchase. Form filling was good, review page was good, paid and confirmation page was good. When I received the confirmation email, 3 letters were missing from his first name. Well, obviously something wrong. In the email there was a number to call immediately (24 hour line). Called, guess what? no one picks up so I sent an email and went to sleep.
Tried next day morning, after 15-20 mins got a hold of one. This person was like, "you have to page $50 to change the name", Me: "no, it was your fault I'm not gonna pay". After this I was told to send a copy (scan) of my dad's passport so they can look into it. I emailed and went to work.
I call back in the evening, another person picks up, goes through everything and tells me who asked you to send a passport copy. We do not need it. Anyway after much discussion this woman tells me that that their website only accepts 28 characters. There was no mention about such thing in the website - how should I know that? So I ask for a solution, answer: we can cancel and do a rebooking but it is going to cost me another $50 (what? no I'm not paying for your mistakes). I insisted that I need a refund because I was unhappy. Woman was tell me bull at this time, I asked her to pass me to her manager - keeps me 30 mins on hold, tells me they can do something else. I pushed them for a refund, finally they said yes. Also told me I will get a confirmation email in few mins.
No confirmation email, I call them next morning. They said yes it was processed but no confirmation email. I was like, send me the darn email so I have a closure. Response? I'm sorry our system is down, call back.
And did I also told you I never got a response for my first email I sent then on the day that I purchased my ticket?
Here is the summary,
Do not go with these guys. Sure they are cheap but if you need any customer service after this, forget about it. They are in India, takes crazy long time to answer to calls, when they do they are rude and not helpful (and you may hit a language barrier depending on the person you are talking to).
Thanks BudgetAir for RUINING my very first on-line air ticket purchase experience!

Couple of hours after this post, BA calls me, settles everything. Thanks for that. Good to know that they are listing. But still I'm unhappy. Why? Sean, who was the floo manager promises me I get my confirmation within 24 hours - After 24+++ still no answer!! .. Really?

This was my first time booking a flight online and I was extremely apprehensive as I had always relied on travel agencies to do the work for me. However, the price quoted by my travel agency seemed too high and my boyfriend suggested I book it on my own this time.
