Chose flights, paid for them within two minutes and a message appeared saying my order had failed and I had to contact them in the morning on a phone call that costs 10p per minute and you are kept on hold for ages. Staff told me that flights were available and I was booked on my chosen flight. Shortly after I received an email demanding more money. Had to call back at 10p per minute and was told the flights were only available at a higher price. I gave them the opportunity to find alternatives and they failed. As I needed to travel urgently, i looked on lastminute.com and got the same flights that budgetair could not provide and i paid £200 less than I had initially paid budgetair.
Their staff are useless and I was told I could not speak to a line manager as they would not be able to do anymore and also they were too busy to speak to me. The company fails to realise that when they took my money we entered into a contract. As such they are totally in breach of contract for advertising a product for sale, taking my money and then not providing what I paid for.
Please keep away from this company. They run a business with total disregard of good customer service.
13 June 2013 I received a phone call from Mr Kenny Marcelus, supervisor at budgetair. He was very apologetic about what happened. He has personally reassured me that I should contact him in future to book my travel requirements. As he was sincere, I will certainly give budgetair a chance in the future. Will post my experience, positive or negative, when I next use their services.
