Provided good customer service after a complaint and an online review
My flights were rescheduled, meaning that I would have to take two more days off work and be stuck in Shanghai Airport for over 24 hours on both the outward and return journeys.
As I wasn't given any alternative, I had to cancel my flights with BudgetAir. I then asked for the full refund I was entitled to. Initially, BudgetAir said that it would take 10-12 weeks to refund me the ticket amount, but they wouldn't refund the flight booking fee, credit card costs or Airline Failure service.
After making an official complaint to the airline and writing about this experience on Trust Pilot, I was given a full refund within a few days.
