DO NOT USE THEM!!

I'd echo most of the one-star reviews on here. Don't get tempted by the higher prices that they offer because a) they will give you a lower price in the end, and b) it is simply too much hassle and stress.

LESSON 1: DO NOT USE CASH4PHONES. IF YOU HAVE USED THEM, DON'T ACCEPT THEIR INITIAL OFFER
They quoted £120 for my HTC Sensation, and when I sent it to them (wrapped in bubble wrap in the flimsy bag that they sent me), they offered me £38 as it "failed the test" and there was "excessive wear and tear".

After I paid £5 for return postage, they called me and said they re-tested it and have made a mistake, and revised the offer to £107 (due to minor wear and tear), which is marginally above the £105 that Fonebank would offer, and would refund the £5 postage. So I said yes, even though my phone was in tip top condition when I sent it.

They then sent me an email saying that they have done the transfer and I should receive it in 72 hours, and wait for 5 work days before contacting them should I not receive my payment. Of course, I did not get anything after 5 days. Tried calling but no one ever picks up, so I sent them a few emails.

LESSON 2: YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE THE MONEY ON TIME. DON'T WASTE TIME CALLING THEM. CALL TRADING STANDARDS AND LOG A REPORT, AND WRITE TO CASH4PHONES THAT THEY ARE "IN BREACH OF CONTRACT"
The last email that I sent was after speaking to Trading Standards, and was told to tell them that they are "in breach of contract to the agreed payment" and they have "failed to comply" with the agreement. And if I do not hear from them in 7 work days, I will escalate the problem to Trading Standards again. This seemed to have worked as I have received my payment today.

MOST IMPORTANT LESSON: DON'T USE CASH4PHONES. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AND STRESS.
