I stupidly sent my almost pristine iphone 4 off to this company without reading the online reviews beforehand - big mistake on my part :( !
After sending my phone by recorded delivery, it took over a week for them to acknowledge receipt which left me very nervous. In this time, I googled the company and read what would probably happen next , as summarised below:
1. The company will confirm receipt of phone by email on a Friday late afternoon and this will say "excessive wear and tear" - they will offer a revised, heavily reduced offer, by a third in my case from £137 to £42. 2. The company will not answer your online queries, emails will bounce back and the phone line is unmanned. 3. You will be forced to pay £8.95 to have your phone returned, no doubt this will take a long time and probably be damaged if their packaging is anything to go by?
According to the reviews, I will be made a higher offer as their assessment was a little 'harsh', I will be sticking to my guns and hope that my handset comes back intact. I will be sending it of to [external reference] who apparently are really good.
P.S the adviser who i managed to get through to today said that an iphone 4 will never achieve more than £80 so beware if you get a higher offer.........
