Cashbee give their address as Unit 14, Howley Park Business Village, Morley, Leeds - and the unit is up for sale by auction on March 29, 2012.
On the Cashbee website today (March 23) the homepage states: "Cashbee is no longer accepting any more new or used items.
Requests for any outstanding payments can be made to Cashbee, Unit 14, Howley Park Business Village, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0BZ".
But it seems they won't be there much longer, given the unit is going under the hammer next week.
The kids decided to have a clear out of X-Box games and DVD's and sold them to Cash Bee. I waited 3 weeks and checked the status of my sale on their and it stated that they were waiting for it to arrive. I waited a further week and nothing had changed. I used the Live Chat via the website on 3 occasions but it was always off-line and I never received a reply. I then emailed them and received what I understand is a generic reply that they were very busy and would deal with e-mails in the order they receive them. I never received a reply. After almost 8 weeks the cheque arrived. At the same time of sending items to Cash Bee, I sold items to Music Magpie who processed everything and sent me the money within a fortnight. A lot of people think Cash Bee is a scam website - I can only presume that they do not have the resources in place to deal with the items that they are receiving. I will not use them again.
Well i had £67 pounds of dvds collected by couier when they said as all planned.
I heard nothing back from emails sent asking before the payment was processed if i could change from check payment to direct into my bank, this wasn't answered in time, so i moaned again on email and recived the money without their deduction for banking cost straight into bank account.
I was aware that they are overwhelmed with users and thought well least i got my money and no deductions, so il use them again.
I have now sent around 6 emails to which i have no response, ive been waiting a month just for the box to send the next lots off, and nothing, no box, no reply to emails nothing, they are loosing this from me as may give a little longer then going to another company.
It seems somethings off here, as everyone is saying con!! but i got paid after a few moans, and they didn't even give me their charges as a way of saying sorry...but no i have heard nothing from them in a month with next delivery, again im thinking they are overwhelmed and busy, but a response of any kind after this amount of time is possible and if you cant run a company properly with staff and customer service, then they shouldn't be allowed to trade!
have a large box of dvd and cd's, so arranged for a courier to collect. day for collection arrived i was around all day and no one came to collect.
tried to contact them, no phone number so sent email and had no reply to my questions,
however now finding this im probably a little glad they didnt collect.
I sent a load of DVD's and Xbox 360 games to this 'business' almost 6 weeks ago. Their 'standard delivery' is apparently '2 weeks'... I've received NO pay whatsoever and no reply to a message sent to their website many weeks ago. To anyone who was considering selling their items to this fraud business, DO NOT. Basically its absolutely appalling. Spread the word to EVERYONE.

Do not trust this company. I sent 207 DVDs and I have still not received payment. I have now found out that they are selling my DVDs on eBay. I have reported thorn to eBay, they are trading as trusted -media. I have also contacted the consumer direct as they are in breach of contract, letter will go out today to them, see what they have to say.
Report them as they are selling our DVDs on eBay and not paying us!!!!

Zero stars for Cashbee. My partner is still waiting for his payment of £128 for his DVDs. They've not responded to any emails, we've heard nothing. If we do not hear from them by the end of the week we will be reporting the company to trading standards. I've read so many bad reviews, don't use them, we never will again. Spread the word, these companies should not be allowed to get away with it. Please, please fill out an online fraud complaint form about them and maybe we can stop them from trading/scamming.
Sent two packages still no payment received eventhough I was told a cheque had been sent for one of them LIES. numerous emails sent, BOG standard reply or no reply awful service, would never use them again
A courier came and collected my DVDs and games in November - I am still awaiting payment. I have emailed them several times and have had a few replies apologising for the delay and assuring me that my cheque will be sent out in the post that day, it still has not arrived. The website states it will be received within two weeks.
As far as I can gather they have stolen my goods and have no intention of paying.

I sent 114 games and still waiting to receve my money of 54.00 . i sent them an email, If i dont have my money very soon . then I will take them to court .

i chose cash bee because they give a penny extra for all the usual rubbish dvds. n when u have 50 of them. it makes a difference
i gave them in a week before xmas. it is now 11/2/12 and i have no dvds, no money, no emails.

After resigning myself to a bit of a fight for my £90 owed, after reading other reviews, received a reply to my email of 30.01.12 out of the blue on 09.02.12 with an apology and to advise that the funds would be transferred to my bank today. Lo and behold I checked the bank account and there was the cash !!!!.
Although the payment took a lot longer than advertised, I did get my cash in the end so I have to give credit to the company for that.
Is it just perhaps that the company has been overwhelmed by the goods being send and their processes are not robust enough to cope ?. - Hope that all the other customers who have been waiting for payment get the monies due in the near future as well
UPDATE: I sent an email, received the automated reply. I resent my email in the subject Field this time I put "Mr Paul Roy - Litigation reply with 7 days of receipt" I got an instant reply and he sent me my money! Please complain to Office of Fair Trading people along with me.
This company has taken 42 items of mine and not paid in over 3 months.

CashBee are on ebay selling your items username "trusted_media"
Their trading name is Mobvista Limited in York and is connected with MYTXT.CO.UK LIMITED - they are the same people doing scams, as reported by a previous reviewer. Look up username "trusted_media" on ebay and try messaging them from there, or pass on info to Trading Standards.
Sent 50+ items over 4 weeks ago they haven't paid me and haven't responded to any of my 5 emails except to one with the automated response that others have received wish I'd have thrown them in the bin rather than giving to a greedy scamming b****rd I was trying to raise some money to pay of my credit cards due to the economic climate but obviously other people feel it is easier to scam people in order to make money rather than clearouts and good old fashioned hard work
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS VIA FACE BOOK AND TWITTER TO AVOID ALSO

CASHBEE do not use have waited over four weeks for payment of £45, and have still not received payment for dvd's. Email are not responded to. I will be contacting trading standards and watchdog. Be carefull because these people have your bank account details.
i was a bit worried at first using cashbee because i was not paid on the date i was given so i sent emails but had no response back so when i read the reviews i was dismayed to find that no one was getting paid they were all complaints about the owner scamming them so i ended up sending a not very nice email to the company and complained to trading standards like most of the other customers but i was so wrong because the company emailed me promptly apologising for the delay and i was paid 2 days after the specified date they dealt with me fairly and gave me a good price for my items this is a genuine review and as stated in other reviews i am not a friend or family
I agree with all of the negative reviews on here. I sent 71 CD's to Cashbee 12 weeks ago and still have not received payment or a reply to my emails. Cashbee is a complete scam of a company, and I have reported them to Watchdog and Consumer Direct. Hopefully, enough complaints will be made to shut down Cashbee for good.

UPDATE: I have now received my payment!....and an email apology. I would urge anyone who is still owed money to continue emailing Cashbee until you have received your payment in full.

i so wish i had read these before sending my goods been 4wks sent emails with no reply , even wrote to them still no reply spoke to trading standards all they said is to send a letter recorded delivery so got proof they got it saying if they dont pay up they have broken their contract and to send good back or take legal action against them , also went on to watchdog site to report them they owe me 148.06 , i would urge anyone who not been paid to tell watchdog about them then hopefully we might get what we are owed

I can only agree with all the one star comments. I posted some items to Casbee in October last year and, despite numerous e-mails no money has been forthcoming. They have even stopped replying to my e-mails now.
The sum of cash isn't large, but I am going to take this forward, to trading standards, Watchdog, whoever will listen, basically.
PLEASE don't use this lot....
Update: After contacting Trading Standards, I sent Cashbee a recorded delivery letter, advising them that they needed to pay me in 14 days. I chose to have them pay by cheque as their website doesn't seem secure. They did send me a cheque just within the 14 days, but not for the amount of the trades - it was about £13 short. So, another letter has gone by recorded delivery advising them that they are still in breach of contract. Time is passing by, they have until Wednesday of this week by which time the second 14 days will have gone by, and then, well, we shall see...But I have been more than fair by them and I am not going to give up...
And...you couldn't make it up...but, with the cheque came a flyer, Cashbee on one side ( offering best prices, paid WITHIN 48 HOURS!! ) and on the other side, an advert for trusted_media, the e-bay site mentioned on other postings on this site. It is enough to make a cat laugh, is it not!

what a complete scam sent items on 19th December 2010 worth a total of £101.00 Still no payment sent many emails they dont even reply DO NOT USE money was for the family for xmas what a complete joke hope they are happy they have ripped off a 70+ year old woman shame on you will now look into claiming my money back because i bet they dont have my items

I wish I'd seen these reviews before I sent discs to them. Reading the other reviews I doubt I will see any money. Thank goodness I sent some of my items to MusicMagpie who paid up within 10days.

Why didnt i just use another site at least i would of got paid on time.
As many others here i have also sent many items off to these people and received nothing back.
As some said on here i have wrote to these fraud website and the best one was Watchdog, lets see if we can get something done.
Do what i have done and save your transaction detalls from the cashbee website incase they disappear somehow.

I have now reported the matter to West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Trading Standards and i strongly advise anyone caught up in this scam to do the same!

The facts are:
I sent 25 game disks to CASHBEE on the 13th December. According to their website payment was going to take 2 weeks. well we are know on the 22nd of January 2012 and no payment. I have emailed them and have been fobbed off with the following email "Thank you for contacting Cashbee. Due to the huge popularity of Cashbee we are currently taking longer that expected to answer emails. Your email will be answered in strict rotation.". I will gladly post a another review if they do contact me. but for know BE AWARE rother go to one on the store that bye games and get the cash. I quess the old saying if it sounds to good to be true then it must not be true.

Like many others, I have been a victim of this company's failure to pay within the agreed time of two weeks. They owe me £123.51. I do not intend to allow them to get away with it, and am starting an action accordingly.
I strongly urge anyone else in this position to take out a small claims action against CashBee.

still no cheque even tho they said it was posted to me 5 weeks ago and even gave me a cheque number! Decide to get my own back, ill be sending them a box of my dog's poo every day (at their own expense) until they pay up, id advise everyone to do the same, if you dont have a dog SEND ROCKS it will cost them a fortune.

I am probably a victim of this company's fraud. I sent 26 DVDs before Christmas and have not received a penny. There was no email confirmation. I am havingPlease do not use this company. I have used Musicmagpie on two occasions. They are a very efficient company. I received confirmation of receipt and confirmation of cheque in the post. Cheques received within the 2week period.

Shame they don't leave you rate with 0 stars or a minus. Like nearly everyone else on here, sent my sons dvds, cds etc. at the begining of December, after 6 weeks still have not received my payment. Did manage to get one email promising money by the end of the week, but still nothing, not even answering my email now. Wish I'd found this site with all these reviews before I sent my stuff off, would have rather given them to the charity shop then be ripped off

Over 2 months since this company ( I can't bring myself to say their name ) recieved my DVD's & CD's & no payment todate. Numerous e-mails were sent with no reply, it wasn't till I told them I would be knocking on their door shortly that they decided to reply, they apologised for the delay & assured me I would recieve payment by the end of the week, quess what ..... still no payment. Looks like im gonna have to make that personal visit. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.

Lost 100s of cds to them so I did some research.
Cashbee is owned and run by Chris Hunter and his wife, who owned and run mytxt- a company who was fined approx £30,000 for taking customers money without permission.
The company uses 3 different addresses and does not provide any contact number, which they should by law.
Also addresses and personal details are NOT secure on their website, I stumbled across 3 different customer accounts when trying to access mine.
Their terms & conditions state "Cashbee reserve the right to monkey around and change the terms & conditions without prior notice" -which they do! If you are still dumb enough to use them after seeing this then you deserve whats coming.
CASHBEE IS A FRAUD COMPANY & MR & MRS CHRIS HUNTER ARE FRAUDSTERS!
I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF ANY GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FAKED BY CHRIS HUNTER, HIS EMPLOYEES, FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS.

I had tried to find reviews on Cashbee, but for some reason this site wasn't brought back with reviews. If I had I would have sent all my stuff to Music Magpie. Fortunately I didn't send all the cds/dvds I wanted to sell and sent some to Music Magpie too - who were brilliant. Know they had a backlog on processing the parcel, but still haven't received anything. Wouldn't use them again. Also noted site isn't secure, had to opt for cheque payment (even though it was at my expense), wasn't about to send my bank details through to an unsecure site

Some of us have to struggle along with what money we can earn while others obviously such as those at cashbee don't give a damn.
