Do not buy the Ruptioon Phase

I bought the Ruption Phase for my son. It was broken on arrival. I contacted Chain Reaction and they took over six weeks to replace the parts. When I fitted the replacement parts, the back wheel broke. I give up!

I ordered my new asics trainers from them late afternoon on a bank holiday Monday. The trainers arrived on Wednesday morning, which means they were dispatched Tuesday! I am very very impressed. This was on their free postage (the normal, non-tracked). I've had bad experiences from companies that charge and claim they deliver next day and still don't while this one doesn't charge for delivery and arrives next day!! Thanks you guys if you read these. I will definitely recommend you to friends and family.

As for those buying asics cumulus 14 gtx just know they're amazing too. I went for a 5k run in them today (Wednesday, the day they arrived) and it felt great. No blisters, red marks or discomfort.

Great company and great shoes. What more could I ask for?

I have ordered several things from crc , like i ordered on friday, they dispatched on monday and arrived in 24 hours !!! i recommend to anyone . or i ordered on tuesday , came on friday :) they have very cheap things and they give free delivery on everything if you live in uk or ireland . they have very good quality products and a lot of good reviews :)

Always a pleasurable experience

I have been using Chain Reaction for years and have always had a good experience with them. They always seem to ship items within a reasonable amount of time and their customer service team has always been pleasurable to deal with.

Excellent service and great prices

Reading some of these reviews I was initially a little wary of what to expect, but having now completed 5 individual transactions for various items I can only say that the service has been excellent and delivery exceptionally swift. In a couple of instances I needed some technical assistance prior to purchase and questions were answered knowledgeably and swiftly. I will definitely continue to use Chain Reaction, their prices also appear to be consistently more competitive than the other usual outlets.

Bloqué par le livreur - probleme de pieces

Il y a 2 ans j'avais commandé un vélo. le colis était parti a l'heure et puis est resté bloqué par le transporteur car non conforme !! pour une société qui en envoie des milliers c'est surprenant. Le colis repart une semaine après : youpieeeee !!! ben non l'amortisseur est cassé, pas de leur faute.
Service après vente : jamais la même personne , mais toujours le même prénom. renvoi de l'amorto, réception du nouveau après une dizaine de jours.
ok finito, ben non 2 ou 3 mois après, il ne retrouve pas l'amorto que je leur ai renvoyé (bien que j'ai suivi la procédure, que j'ai trouvé légère pour des pros: pas de bon de retour) . impossible de leur prouver la réception, car le délais de suivi de colis est dépassé.
Bref j'ai envoyé le scan du depot de colis et depuis plus de nouvelles.

Good but very slow

Theres a great selection of products and at very competitive prices, everything i ordered arrived well packaged and in good condition. Delivery is free however very slow, for example i ordered parts on a thursday and it wasnt dispatched till tuesday then finally arrived on the the thursday. so i wouldnt recommend this site if you want your stuff in a hurry.

Like crc a lot

Always happy, sometimes they are the chreapest sometimes they are not, but delivery is always fast and their customer service guys have always been happy to help. I once ordered something that it turned out they didn't have in stock so they refunded and gave me a voucher for some money off on my next purchase....pretty decent of them I think

I have spent hundreds of pounds with this company. Recently ordered a chain cleaning device which should have included a cleaning brush. This was missing so telephoned customer services, ended up in a queue for ages. Eventually told a replacement brush would be sent out - never sent/arrived. Emailed informing them of this - no reply! Steer clear guys (pun intended).

Order Still Not Arrived

Wish I hadn't ordered this. Ordered it on Tuesday morning at 10 am - 1st Class Royal Mail - still nothing. This is for a pair of shorts.

Spoke to the customer service on the phone - nothing. I am expected to wait two weeks before I am allowed to complain and make a claim for my purchase.

BEWARE BEWARE

You may have seen the promo video they have released about how efficient their warehouse is and how quickly they get a vast number of goods out to customers...there may be other reasons why this is the case.

I recently received a brand new bike from them, which had untrue wheels, chipped paintwork, bent components and loose stem bolts amongst other problems. This a quote from their website about delivery:

• Bikes take a little bit longer as we want to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition, and so will take the time to inspect them before delivery

My delivery was clearly far from perfect, and when I contacted them I was told it was only bikes of a higher value that were inspected (they said over £250 but I don't know whether this was a value they plucked from the air, as they are do not seem concerned about misleading their customers - for information, it was a mountain bike that was the only one out of 400 under £250 as it was on sale). At no point in ordering, or upon delivery, did I receive anything to say that a new bike should be inspected by a professional bike mechanic, and this bike would have been dangerous to ride if it was not properly inspected.

The statement on their website does not seem to be an oversight as they thanked me for pointing out the misleading nature, but have not changed it having had plenty of time to do so.

Furthermore, their simple way of avoiding negative reviews on their website is not to post them!

I would severely question what other corners they cut, and what other misleading information they provide on their website (or don't provide, such as reviews!)

They may have lots of stock at seemingly good prices, but would you really want to trust your life (coming off a bike due to faulty set-up/damaged components certainly could be lethal if you reasonably believed your bike was inspected pre-delivery) in a company that is happy to mislead you into risking your life.

Replaced my Chain and Cassette

I found the prices to be about half of what I was able to find on competitors sites for exactly the same SRAM parts. One part of the order (a chain wear checker) could not be honoured so they refunded this item and sent a £10 voucher instead. Although some components are cheap it does still pay to price check against other sites but this is just common sense really

Good prices and quick delivery but...

After christmas I found a tri-wetsuit with 45% discount, with free delivery. In Denmark a similar tri-wetsuitwould have cost at leat 3 times the price CRC could offer. I received the wetsuit within 4 days. After that I saw a pair of cycling shoes and orderede those as well, and received them within 3-4 days with no hazzle.
I have however (and thats the "but" in the headline) an unfinished business with CRC regarding a tri-handlebar, that I ordered a couple of month before christmas (when it was in stock) and suddenly it was out of stock. I didnt hear anything but had to write to CRC, I still have not received the handlebars, but in the end CRC gave me a 10£ voucher, and despite everything, I think thats good customerservice).
I had a completely similar experience with wiggle.com and they didn't offer me anything!

terrible customer service

placed an order on 14 dec and order is still being processed,im after sending 3 emails and got no responce,no reply when i phone,so not sure what is happening with order,this was a good site a few years ago but not anymore this is the second order that i have had trouble with in a few months so im closing my account and id advice everybody not to buy off this site...finally got through to there ignorant customer service and they could'nt tell me what was happening with order so i cancelled order and there very slow to refund money SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE WIGGLE THEY'RE ALOT CHEAPER

...und sehr gute Preise. Leider leidet manchmal etwas die Übersicht und auch der Durchblick bei den Machern. Ab und an ist ein Artikel als lieferbar gekennzeichnet, der dann aber vergriffen ist, war bei mir persönlich aber die Ausnahme.

Der deutschsprachige Kundenservice (Monja) ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend und auch in diversen Bikeforen stets am lauschen, ob es nicht Probleme geben könnte, die es zu beheben gilt.

Versand aus dem Königreich ist dank EU kein Problem und geht immer sehr schnell, einen Punkt Abzug gibt's wie gesagt für die mangelnde Übersicht hier und da, aber alles in allem schon eine echte Kaufempfehlung!

Lots of products, best prices and cool features like wish list and previous orders!

Title says it all really. Loads of choice from the top brands FiveTen, 661, Middleburn and SRAM in my last order. Lowest prices in most cases and cool features like wish list so I can buy as and when I can afford them. Plus being abel to see previous orders in my account means I know what size or spec parts I need second time around.

Excellent delivery and pricing

My orders have always been sent the next day at the latest, they have a wide range of products, mostly cheap prices, popular products always in stock, good information about customs procedures for international orders, free shipping for most orders (or at the least quite cheap, also express options).

Some technical product information could have been better, but if one is interested in such one will always check with the manufacturer anyway.

Excellent prices and good service

The prices are really good and the service more than acceptable. I have had 2 deliveries that took a day more than I expected but that is out of over 10 orders.
When products are out of stock the send all other products in the order at once and the remaining products as soon as they are available again.

Usually excellent

Generally the best prices and usually their delivery is very quick, but lately the orders have taken a few days to be processed and sometimes email response can be quite slow. I'm guessing they are very busy of late.
