waste of time and bad customer service

a parcel i ordered from the us via ebay came into citipost who sent it to a 3rd party courier and the ebay tracking system was updated to out for delivery...i thought great get my item today,not so the 3rd party van had been in my street but no parcel,after spending ages getting in touch with these clowns their reply was it can take upto 72 hrs,so why update the tracking as out for delivery if it isn,t...when i asked for the tracking no the 3rd party courier would use all i got was we can,t obtain that so i cannot even track it through the thrid party website....a terrible and shoddy company...moral of the story don,t buy anything from ebay that users the global shipping or you will have problems like myself

Liars! AVOID!!!!! My parcel from U.S.A. was never delivered!!!

Post from USA never delivered. Ms Abbott in the Citipost office says ' It has been not accepted'.
Howener, I'm the one to sign deliveries in my school and I know for sure, nobody ever tried to contact us with my delivery.

Downright fraudulent behaviour - Deliveries not attempted, return to sender.

Make sure that any supplier sending goods to the UK from the United States does not use Citipost - they are downright dishonest in how they deal with you.

They will claim to have attempted delivery, and turn the package around to return to sender THE SAME DAY. They do not leave cards, and to be frank, it seems that they will happily fake the paperwork and not even come to your home.

Two separate suppliers in different months, two identical experiences, one shoddy courier in common. Avoid!!

Slow and extremely unefficient!!!

I ordered goods on the internet and my parcel was sent on Tuesday 11th. I was expecting to receive it in few days, but I'm still waiting for it.
The address is my workplace's one, as at home there is nobody during the day, but they delivery until 9pm and it's not possible to choose an earlier delivery, so I had to bother the owner of the shop in front of my office and ask him if he didn't mind to receive a box for me.
Yesterday the parcel was out for delivery, but at 4.30pm I called the customer service to ask them to put a note, so if the office was closed they could deliver my parcel to the shop. This morning I went there to collect it, but there wasn't nothing for me.
Apparently the vehicle broke and they couldn't deliver my parcel. I called the customer service again, to remind them about our opening times, but the lady I was talking to replied that the parcel hasn't been scanned for delivery today, so I won't receive it today for sure. She was also unable to tell me a delivery date.
I hope to have nothing to do with Citipost anymore, because it's so frustrating keep waiting for something you need and never know when you're going to receive it!

Citipost could try harder.....!!

THIS is their opening statement Ha ha ha SO NOT TRUE in my case..four days of lost work time, and immense stress .I recently bought a guitar from America but it had seemed to disappear up until Yesterday. When only through my own perseverance and stubborness I found it.. Although citipost/13Ten were helpful to a point I came up against a brick wall, after so many emails and kept being told they couldnt help any further and had no more information they could offer WHICH WAS CRAP, they told me it was the sellers problem and to go back to the seller. It was pure luck that whilst trying to sort out how to claim back from ebay my husband clicked on something which gave us more detailed tracking info, which actually placed the guitar at a Hermes depot in Gatwick (my heart sank after reading info about them) I found a phone number and the person was really helpful told me the parcel had been there then gave me another phone number of the following courier who managed to get hold of the guy who actually did deliver it and purely and luckily because the women at the last courier's was a small company and really wanted to help.. unlike citipost ...they track their drivers deliveries which placed him in the next road..So hail Tracey at mayday solutions.. the guy had gone to the wrong street and thought he left it with our neighbour.. its beyond me why citipost could not have done this if we could.as they must have had the relevant phone numbers. So I wont use Global shipping for items from America again as they use citipost/13Ten.

Very poor experience!

Hi,
I am waiting for a parcel from the states, according to Citipost's brain dead tracking system, the 13ten website, it arrived at Citipost :-
30/12/2013 12:59 Item received at Citipost
Then there is one more entry
31/12/2013 01:40 ITEM SCAN
And then nothing more.
I managed to find a Citipost contact form and asked where my parcel was. I had a prompt email reply saying the parcel had been passed to Parcel Force, and was with them waiting for delivery. The email actually gave the Parcelforce tracking number, (of course different from the Citipost tracking number!)
Is it too difficult for Citipost to put the final bit of info, including the ParcelForce number on the 13ten website.
To me it just shows what an ill thought and useless company it is.
BTW, the email I had from them contained not a hint of apology for their lack of service

Citipost

Had several parcels coming in from the US via citipost. Their track and trace (13ten) does not work. Every parcel says "has not arrived with us yet"....I even tried it with the parcels that had arrived and it still said the same. Awful service and no telephone number or address to go to. You're left in limbo and at Christmas its so frustrating. Plus they left a large parcel with our neighbour, didnt leave a card with us to let us know...it took days for us to find put it had arrived...USELESS!!!

Breaking & Entering Now Apart Of Their Service

I've ordered several items from a well known company for business advertisement. And each one being delivered by City Link (Professional Trespassing)

What the issue is with City Link is that their drivers are not educated in knocking on a persons front door before leaving a delivery with them.

Last month I ordered a box of 250 business cards. A couple of days later I came into my kitchen at the back of the house after hearing a noise and found my item sat on my kitchen windowsill in the rain. The driver had unlocked my back gate and left my parcel. They hadn't even bothered to come to my front door and I was sat in the front room at the time.

I contacted the company I had ordered from and City Link as my item has been waterdamaged. They informed me a replacement would be sent.

A few days later, the same thing happened again. Driver unlocked backgate and left item outside on windowsill. I complained to City Link who didn't answer any questions on why their drivers were trespassing on property that was clearly locked up, and not even bothering to come to the front door.

My item was replaced again, this time to be greeted with a driver with the attitude of a pubescent 15 year old male. He shoved my item in my face, told me to sign for it and he left.

A couple of weeks later I had to order an alternative item. This time the trespassing driver had returned. The driver banged her fists on my kitchen window, dumped the parcel next to the drain and was off, through the gate that she had unlocked again. I had ran into the kitchen with fright due to the nature of her abrupt delivery, with a shaken 6 month old in my arms and spotted her on my drive way.

So City Link, the next time I order and you have to deliver, if your driver EVER trespasses on property that is clearly locked and is not to be accessed by the public, I will file a complaint with the police. I HAVE A FRONT DOOR!!!!!!!!!
