Good value, handy location but couple of things would of helped

Very handy for visiting London and especially being so close to tube and so close to Hyde Park. Saved money being able to cook there. but couple things would of improved it -
-if there had been some washing up liquid / teatowels /cloths would of saved having to go buy.
- If there had been instructions for using the oven it would of helped.
-could of done with comfier chairs to relax in.
Was good that could cancel right to last minute without losing money, if plans had changed.

Good customer service when dealing with a problem

I reported some problems during my initial use of this website and was contacted almost immediately by a CS manger who sorted everything to my satisfaction. It's obvious these people listen to what their customers say and act upon the views and opinions registered. Well done!

Great place to stay, clean comfortable and quiet

Really nice, well equipped and clean apartment with lovely view over the river. Robert who was waiting to check me in after hours was very helpful .

Only 15mins walk to the bay where you will find a number of bars and restaurants..

Wouldn't hesitate to return for work or pleasure..

Bookings are always quick and efficient any issues with the apartments are dealt with promptly I highly rate them.

Easy to request - would have preferred instant confirmation of reservation.

Efficient, nice and just great!

I used Citybase Apartments 3 years ago and now (in 2013).
They find places for you to stay exactly according to your needs, give best value for money, are efficient and advisors are nice.

Helpful and efficient

It was a nice, clean, modern apartment, with all the facilities I required.

To date Citybase Apartments have been extremely helpful in obtaining our accommodation

I simply sent Citybase Apartments an email requesting availability of 4 different apartments in Manchester. They responded 3 days later with very acceptable quotes. I contacted them and they booked the apartment the next day. The person I spoke to was extremely nice and helpful. (we are travelling from Australia)

Quick and convenient

This is a really good service I received a request summary within minutes of submitting details and got my booking confirmation shortly afterwards. The price is better than many hotels especially as booking city centre will certainly use this service again

An exceptionally efficient, helpful and friendly service.

I used the phone service rather than the email although the site is very clear. The lady I spoke to was knowledgeable and helpful. The apartment that I had wished to book was not available but she quickly recommended two others for a similar price, she guided me swiftly through the website so that I could view them before booking. She was clear about pricing and terms and conditions and was able to answer any queries that I had. So far I would rate the service shown as first class and will review our stay once done and enjoyed!

Excellent Service

Excellent & prompt service.
After enquiring about one apartment availability, which was not available on the dates we requested, Citybase quickly came back with several alternatives.
We will be using them again.

Oh no...I double booked!!

Nightmare.....I had just confirmed my booking online - a couple of days as a present for my sister when I was told that she was away for the weekend I had chosen. I immediately rang the company and spoke to a lovely chap. Really helpful and changed the booking for me.

Poorly Designed Leicester Studio Apartment

Just arived in Leicester in a really poorly designed studio apartment. Not even a small sofa supplied. Wardrobe hanging space has to be seen to be believed (unless you are well over76 foot tall impossible to hang anything)
Studio feels tired and well used
City Apartments failed to make it clear that parking was £7 a night. Not my best accomodation choice and certainly would not recommend. Staff on site understanding but I have 3 days in less than adequate accomodation

Please note this is the third time in this complex and certainly the worst accomodation.

Top tip dont book a studio unless its for one night.

I found the extra personal assistance I received to be first class when I had a personal problem booking online.

I couldn't recommend this website more highly, It has all the information one needs to make a booking from half way around the world and is easy to access. I needed to talk to someone about my booking and the problem I had was easily sorted out and the booking confirmed. The staff member couldn't have been more helpful.

Anoying tube noise every 5minutes from 5h30AM to 1AM

Clean new and nice room however impossible to sleep due to a very very Anoying tube noise and floor vibration every 5minutes from 5h30AM to 1AM

Jenny who I spoke to was very helpful and informative regarding the rooms available.

Smart service!

Very good and great location

Very good and great location clean good value for money

Helpful, polite and provided good service

We gave them a ring, and were very happy with the friendly, helpful service they gave. It was a bit awkward to have to wait while the person and Citybase rang the apartment owners to confirm the prices before an offer could be made. Maybe some faster system would improve the service even more ? Anyway, although I expected a call back on the same day, we got an email the next day containing the offers.

Overall the service was good, but there is room for improvement.

The person at Citybase we spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

Great - very good customer service

I was very pleased with Claudia and Sharons competence and confidence in explaining the procedure - I was made to feel at ease.

QUICK, EASY AND AFFORDABLE

I made a booking for my husband to stay at one of these city based appartments in Southampton, it was very short notice, in fact a few hours before he was due to arrive....not a problem, I found the whole booking experiance a delight!

Modern, clean, great position and great value for money...perfect

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment on business. Apartment was very modern, clean and bright. It had everything we needed and was centrally positioned. Great value for money too. I would have no hesitation staying again and will definitely be back.

quick and efficient booking

i was not sure how long it will take to book. However found it pretty simple to use. Only thing that i am not certain is about the cancellation terms. In the email it say 20% if cancelled before 7 days of arrival ; however during booking does not say that . I would prefer that this be clarified. Else it was a nice experience.

Ideal location to a new comer to London to explore the city and its sorroundings

Ideal location with easy access to train and buses
Proximity to variety of hotels
Well maintained building
However, furniture and coat requires some refurbishment or even replacement as it is too shaky and making noise

Quick and reliable!

I just made the booking on the internet and a couple of hours later I was called and told that my reservation would be processed a quickly as possible and the day after I had my confirmation. Really quick and reliable. We have booked the same apartment a couple of years ago and as it was supernice and also came with a good price we decided to go for it again.

The lady i spoke to on the phone was very polite, friendly and went out of her way to help me. i would definitely recommend the service to any of my friends.

Swift, informative and friendly

Having never booked an apartment for staying in London before, I was a little bit like a rabbit trapped in the headlights with all the choice and locations available. I struck up a friendly correspondence with one of Citybase Apartments's representatives and he swiftly and efficiently guided me to what will hopefully be the right decision for my friends and me.

helpful cheerful and made the process easy

My original choice was unavailable and I was informed of this in a phonecall immediately and offered alternatives which arrived in an email within an hour one of which was taken by the time I managed to contact as I was at work.A suitable alternative was found within a couple of minutes.

Available or unavailble, that is the question!

I personally think the citybase website could benefit from informing potential guests of their room availability there and then, instead of allowing a room request to be submitted, followed by an email not confirming the booking, then another email and a call to be told that actually there is no availability as requested.

Seems unnecessarily long winded and in my case, which admittedly was last minute, caused uncertainty on whether or not I had accommodation actually arranged.

Helpful with no fuss!

The guy I dealt with(Kurtis Murphy) was friendly and helpful. He worked quickly to ensure that we got a good appartment in a prime location.
He went through all the necessary details so that I was aware of everything for when I checked in. Will definitely use this company again,
