Glass basin was beautiful, but there was a misunderstanding with the courier service.
Clickbasin asked the customer to check goods on arrival for damage and if not satisfied, do not accept delivery. The courier companys policy is that if the package is opened, they cannot accept goods back, as they cannot prove that it is not they who have opened the package and caused damage. This caused some embarressment between us and the rep delivering our basin and we were eventually forced into signing for goods without inspection.

Sorry that you had a problem when signing for your delivery. In our experience most drivers are more than accommodating delivering our goods, so our apologies if this were not the case in this instance.
When your goods are delivered we do ask that on their arrival that any obvious damage is reported to the driver and the paperwork is marked as damaged and to not accept the delivery. Alongside which we do only ask that notification that an item is damaged is made within 24 hours of it being delivered, if any unobvious damage is then noticed on a closer inspection. This allows us time to investigate and to raise a claim against the courier for the damage and in turn to immediately resend a replacement for a damaged item.
Again our apologies for any confusion with the driver when the parcel arrived. But we do take all steps to advise on how to protect our customers, as we supply fragile items, so that in the odd occasion of a damaged item being received we are both protected if a parcel is mishandled during delivery.
