This isn't entirely Coverwise's fault as I was directed to the site from Confused.com, although their response time to my query this morning has been slow (i.e. haven't received one).
In summary, I was looking to secure travel insurance for a business trip. I selected the relevant box on confused.com (‘business cover’) and was directed to Coverwise where I purchased the insurance. [I purchased Coverwise's Silver policy which provided more cover with a lower excess than there standard and broze policy, but interestingly the the Silver policy was also cheaper?]
When I received the policy forms I noted that none of them contained the word 'business', which I thought was strange for supposedly a policy with business cover.
I contact Coverwise to check and they confirmed that I was covered for business travel but this didn't include any business equipment or impact to work performance or public liability etc..... Their response was that I should have chosen ''Business cover extra' however as I explain this was never offered to me during the user experience. At the moment I am still waiting for a response as the cost of adding these items as otherwise I would regard the insurance almost pointless.
Yet again I feel insurance company's make it overcomplicated and do not make it clear exactly what and what is not insurance and for what eventualities.
I would probably use Coverwise again as they were exceptionally good value but I would complete the application form scratch on their website rather than relying on a 3rd party comparison website.
