I found a lot of incorrect data whilst using Credit safe , even our own company information on their system is wrong despite numerous telephone calls and emails. No one appears to want to take control and rectify errors , Indeed even after monitoring a company which I new had CCJ's outstanding , one month these showed on the record the following month there was no trace of them. I do not have any confidence in their information and therefore before making a decision , I check it with another agency.
We use Creditsafe to help us construct applications to government regulators and have found the data to be accurate, very quick in getting updated, and available when we need it. In fact I've never known the service not be be there when I access it, often outside regular business hours - there are larger multinational computer corporations that could learn much from them. Very happy and have been with them since the service came on line. Keep up the good work. Oh in finishing, the customer service team are ace.
Please refer to your own emailed responses to this query I sent in Dec. In essence I think I was fobbed off with a standard response and then told to put my query 'in writing'! Who does that these days? VERY disappointing

Sir/Madam I'd be interested to understand the background to the increase in Energy Environmental's rating? See below. The company hasn't filed its accounts for 31/3/13 yet (due this month) and its major trading subsidiary Vikoma is in the same situation.
We are currently trading with Vikoma on a pro-forma basis, following the period where payments extended significantly from the norm. I have separately notified your website delayed payments from this company.
The company's ownership seems to have changed recently with its new ultimate parent, being a recently formed company with no credit history and tagged with your own warning that the directors have an association with a recently insolvent business.
Can you enlighten me as to how the credit rating has improved and what information you have which is not available to your subscribers?
Tim Chapple FCA Finance Director, Leafield Marine Limited [sensitive information]
Got caught by an unscrupulous company once and didn't know what to do about checking companies and directors creditworthiness then along came Credit safe. Excellent system and have not been caught since it has helped us avoid several companies with dubious credentials
We have been with Creditsafe for a number of years and use the AML feature. It is the only AML product we know of that allows us to edit a check initially made with additional ID information if the check comes back as a "refer", without being charged twice. This feature is invaluable as it will often take a long time getting the additional information.
The product is very good. Easily accessible and providing sufficient data to meet our requirements for a reasonable price. Where Creditsafe has failed is in the 'extra' options and customer service. We required additional reporting options outside of the standard UK company and director reports. Based on the 'advice' from our account manager, we purchased an option to give us a number of these extra reports per year to bring the individual cost of each down. However, when we gave them the company details we were looking for we received no reply. It has been chased twice over several months, but the only response from our accounts manager is that he would "look into it". The only correspondence we have had is regarding our renewal; and now that has happened, they have disappeared again.
Creditsafe helps me keep the finger on the pulse of my customers, competitors and suppliers. It is also very useful for providing an indication of how our own business can be improved to beat our competitors.
Creditsafe is easy to use, it provides me with all the information about a target prospect company that I need in order to decide whether I would like to do business with them. The information is up to date, accurate and laid out in an easy to read format.
I consider the cost of providing this service is reasonable, as it saves me time and effort, by pre-qualifying a possible target company before I open up discussions with them. Further, and as importantly, it provides me with information about target companies with whom I would not like to open discussions.
We have used Creditsafe for several years now, and have found it a very useful tool for keeping an eye on our customers. The monitoring service is particularly useful, informing you of any changes registered at Companies House, and credit ratings - whether this is good or bad. We always check new customers before we carry out any work for them, and have avoided losing money several times because we can immediately see if the company have any CCJ's, or if their credit rating has recently been downgraded. We wouldn't be without it. It can easily be used by someone with no financial background because of the credit scores, making it useful when your FD is on holiday!!
I have found the Creditsafe module to be extremely useful in our day-to-day operations. Instantly being able to access this important information, enables us to make quick decisions and plan our growth with confidence. Would recommend Creditsafe to all who take their business seriously.
