##### NOTHING CricketDirect say they will do actually happens. ##### From my open escalation with PayMent Intermediary......28/02/2014 14:25 PST - Buyer: "It appears that Cricket Direct have advised, via PayMentCo, that the goods have been despatched via Royal Mail. I note that they have NOT provided any detail that could be verified with Royal Mail. Eg, What is the consignment note? What date was it picked up by Royal Mail? I will restate that Cricket Direct: Website does not accept my Cricket Direct Account, and, The goods have not been received, and, They have NEVER contacted me, with any acknowledgement of the order, but they have my money, courtesy of PayMentCo. Please continue with ESCALATION.
Cricket direct and premier sports direct appear to be one and the same company.
Ordered goods in November from cricket direct and in December from premier sports direct. Goods have not been sent- apparently they are no longer available! And despite repeated assurances, no refunds have been issued.
I'm still waiting for my refund for more than 28 days. Every time when I ring them on 01727736953 they say money sent to accounts department, will be available after 72 hours, computer broke down, wrong papers sent accounts department etc etc etc.
There are only two persons in the company Pat and Manish. Also they give false information. Scammers
Did anyone else get that infamous email the day before christmas stating that their children would not be getting their Christmas order!!? And sadly yes like those reviewers below me I have now had the same experience... money taken out immediately ....weeks later informed no product ... me chasing them with emails... oh a shipment is coming apparently...... they dont know whats on the shipment.... no reply to phone call... fob off fob off. PLEASE do not use this company - they are being reported to Trading Standards. You cant take peoples money if you dont have the product! It is illegal. I just wish I had seen these reviews before or else I would have gone elsewhere. Now my son does not have his bat for his tour and still no Christmas present. Disgusting way to treat people.
Ordered item nearly a month ago aka premierdirect or cricketdirect based in st albans. NO ITEM & NO REFUND. I am now taking this to fraud investigations and Trading Standards as they should not continue to get away with this. Please heed my advice and do not send your money to this company!
My brother was given a £50 voucher which I tried to use on line and couldn't, so I placed the order over the phone and had to post the voucher to them. Warning bell no 1! Orders were placed for Christmas in early December. Nothing came. I rang and rang and rang and left message after message. Warning Bell No 2!. Still nothing. I literally got to Christmas eve and had to run round to find a suitable gift for my 11 year old brother which I did thanks to CCA in Leicester. I rang again after Christmas and asked them to call me as of course I no longer required most of the order by then. Then out of the blue in mid January a parcel arrived without the requested phone call. The zipper on the cricket bag was broken and one item was no longer required, and gloves were 'to follow'. I returned the bag and another item at my cost and they did replace the bag but the refund I am still waiting for along with the gloves. The most DISGUSTING service I think I've ever encountered. STAY WELL CLEAR of this company. I wish I'd read the reviews first, but more than that I wish the person that bought the original gift voucher had or I wouldn't have had to use them.
I placed an order a month with Cricket Direct, via their premiersportsdirect.co.uk website (they're also premiersportsdirect.com).
I received confirmation of the order, then heard nothing for a week. My emails to premiersportsdirect.co.uk bounced, and nobody answered their published phone number.
After investigation, I found out the company behind it is Cricket Direct, so I phoned them and was assured the order would come the next week.
It didn't arrive, I so contacted them but got no reply from email.
I then posted a message to their Twitter account, which seemed to poke them into action. A customer services guy (Nish) got in touch to say the item is actually discontinued, and would I like an alternative, which could be delivered next week.
I agreed to the alternative, but a week went by and it never arrived.
I emailed again with no reply, so I then phoned them and was assured it would be sent out - but I have very little confidence that I'll get the goods that I've paid for.
Ordered a bat on the Monday and the money £290 was taken the same day but heard nothing for a week. No emails other than the order confirmation. Called them the following Monday to be told they didn't have the bat in stock. I asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund processed. I've now called them 6 times to be told by the same two members of staff, I man and a woman that the refund will be done within 48 hours. It's been a month and a week since I placed the order and still not received my refund. I ignored poor reviews as these seemed to have the bat I wanted in stock. Massive mistake. They take the money immediately whether they have the items or not! Also, I had to point out to them that their phone number was wrong on the website as it was 13 digits long and on first try I called an insurance company. Very unprofessional and it seems theives.
Ordered £75 of stuff, still hasn't arrived after a week. Have phoned them and spoken to numerous people, the first couldn't find my order or whether it had been dispatched, but promised to phone me back, never did. The second said it had been dispatched special delivery and gave me my delivery ref. things were looking up! By 1pm next day when the stuff still hadn't arrived I contacted royal mail who said it was on a recorded service not guaranteed. Called back cricketdirect who seemed very confused that it wasn't recorded and promised to look into it and phone me back... I haven't heard anything, and I am still waiting for my stuff! DO NOT deal with this company, spend that little bit extra and get it from a better more reputable site!
I ordered a cricket bat online. The website said the bat was in stock and so I paid for delivery in a matter of days. Two weeks or so later I chased it up. I was told the bat was on its way. It didn't arrive. Further inquiries were fruitless because I was told the computers were down, but that they would get back to me; they didn't. So I tried again; this time I was told the bat was not in stock, but was being sent out the following day because by happy coincidence they just happened to have spoken to the supplier who told them my bat would be sent out. I didn't believe them and cancelled the order having been told my credit card would be refunded immediately. That was last week and there has been no refund to date.
I ordered a kookaburra cricket bat and decided to have the oiling and knocking in service which was £20 and said it would be a week for them to do. It came early so I thourght they would pre do some opened it and the just but a cover tape which you can buy for £5 or less. Not impressed and don't go with them
I ordered £156 worth of equipment in early January, never heard anything after nearly 2 weeks so sent an email to the company asking if my order had been dispatched yet?? They took over a week to reply and said that it had! waited a further week with still no package>called interlink express who were the carrier they were using and they told me that they had never received and order from cricket/hockey direct and that I should contact them directly!! Finally got in touch with someone, after the call being engaged for over 4 hours. Spoke to a really dim sounding guy who knew fuck all about anything then told me that it was interlink express that had made the mistake and said he would call them and call me back. Never called back. I then called back 4 hours later to find out that a mistake had been made but my deliver would be sent out THAT NIGHT. I asked for a refund coz I was so sick of how useless a company they were I asked to cancel my order was put on hold again to find out that the order that was going to leave that night had magically already left and that the only way I could get a refund was to send my order back once I received it!!!! I now have my order although 3 items are missing and one item is not what I ordered!! I have tried to contact them all day today but no1 is answering the phone!!!
I think I have been done and really doubt that this is a real company. I have since been online and found over ten reviews extremely similar to mine begging people not to use this website!!!

I ordered 12 items from these people - 11 bits of Kookaburra cricket kit and one pair of Oakley sunglasses. All items were marked in blue on their website, which means "available now - immediate delivery."
It was a week before they despatched the order - on a Friday, so it took a further two days (ten in total). When the parcel arrived it contained only ten items, and two of those were differently-branded substitutes: Adidas abdo guard and Puma wicketkeeping gloves in place of the Kookaburra items.
Of the two outstanding items, with "to follow" handwritten on the consignment note, one is also easily substitutable. The other is the Oakley sunglasses. I called to ask what was going on and was told that they were waiting for a delivery, which suggests that the bit on the website where it said "available now - immediate delivery" next to the items in question was not entirely true. I was promised an investigation and a call back today. I'm not holding my breath; I have a bad feeling about this company.
