I ordered the Lacie Nas on 9/12/12. The next day (as I had not received the email confirmation from DABs. See below) I rang them, I was informed that they had not got the product in stock and would have to order it in, I should receive it sometime after the 18th, was that okay? I was okay with that. On the 14th I received an email informing me that the product had been despatched. I was able to track it and it was delivered on the 18th. I was very happy with the service.
I may have jumped the gun in the fact that I did not wait long enough for the email from Dabs to inform me that they had received my order.
Have ordered a number of things from dabs over the years, but had a large problem with them - they couldn't take a payment from a debit card I had. I had used it before with them (+ since with other retailers). My bank advised me that there was no problem with either my account or the details they gave me.
Sadly, customer service line wasn't particularly helpful... and I haven't been back since.
