Fake and rouge trader

Same experience as everyone else. Ordered goods, took 2 months to turn up with no follow up at all even when pushed by email and no answer on mobile phone. Two out of the 4 Western Digital 3TB HDD's have just failed and WD say that they are no valid products ie. Fakes from China!!

Extremely p*ssed off for better words with this ar$ehole.

Don't let him rip you off and if you get hold of him -bust his balls for me will you?

Avoid at all costs.

You are unlikely to get your product from this company. Do not be taken in by the low prices. (try Amazon for that)
online Live support does not ever work. Ordered item never arrived. Telephone line goes to answer machine. Emails are ignored. Eventually went legal through the UK small claims court https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome
and successfully got my money back from them. You can do this too if you get caught out. You can claim back up if your purchase is below £5000. Good luck

Disappoinment Awaits

Ordered a Coolermaster Storm Scout PC case from this con merchant on the 15th June. It was listed as being in stock and that delivery would take 7 working days. 4 days later I get an e-mail stating that my order's been "viewed" - what does this mean to a customer? Few hours later another e-mail stating my order's being "processed" - finally an order status I can relate to.

The 26th June (the estimated delivery day based on the date I placed the order and their delivery time) comes and goes. No PC case delivered. Logged into my account on their site to check my order status, and low it's still "being processed". And it was remanded into "being processed" hell for eternity. I never recieved any further communication from DealforU since the e-mail stating my order was now being processed.

For the next week and a half I made several attempts to phone them, but each attempt was a waste of time. All I ever got was either the engaged tone or an automated message about the number being unavailable or something. Tried the e-mail route using their contact page as well. Again, completely pointless. Didn't get a reply. The site even has Live Support, thing is it's always offline. Very handy.

Basically, once they have your money they do a bunk. They clearly don't give a damn about customer satisfaction, they just stick two fingers up at you and laugh most probably.

Thankfully, I paid using PayPal. So I ended up filling a dispute claim yesterday. Like other reviewers have noted, my claim went from the 'Dispute' stage to the 'Being reviewed by PayPal' stage instantly. That tells you something about this so called "retailer". Got a full refund from PayPal a few hours ago. Never had a dispute claim go through to completion that quickly before. The carpetbaggers even had the cheek to send me an e-mail after PayPal refunded my money telling me that my order was rejected.

In future I'll stick with the tried and tested retailers. While being a tad more expensive, they are at least courteous and professional. Just wish I'd done some digging before placing my order, then I would have avoided all this crap. Shame Trust Pilot force you to award 1 star, as I'd gladly give them zero stars.

Beyond a Joke

Placed an order for a Gigaset C610IP on the 3/5/12, item was in stock.

Chased on 16/5/12 and received a reply promptly stating they were sorry about the delay as they had to order another one and it would be just over a week before it would arrive.

Item arrived on the 22/5/12.
The product was the German model, which they make no mention of on their website. They included 1 adapter for the plug. Sadly the product requires 2 plug adapters, one for the base and one for the phone charger. The lead to plug the phone in is also different, no adapter included and the guides in German ..... great .......

Obviously I have contacted them on multiple occasions and received no reply. Once they have your cash don't expect any further support or help.

Luckily Ive managed to find a suitable lead that works and borrowed another adapter so I can use it in the time being. Beware, I will certainly never order from them again!

Two man Operation. Don't know if this review is fair but...

I checked reviews for this site (but got confused with deals4u.co.uk which got good reviews here). After placing an order, i was worried about the fact there was absolutly no sign of a delvery date on any of the invoices generated, plus the invoices looked a bit crappy, and had a really low small order no. (suggesting they don't do a huge volume of business).

I checked trust pilot again and realised that this company got terrible reviews.

Anwway i called up and eventually got through to them (they obviously have only one phone with no answer machine etc when its busy.... poor)

The guy on the phone was friendly enough, said the item was in stock but couldnt give me a delivery date. Due to the fact all the negative reviews said these guys lie etc, i thought it was best to cancel it, seeing as even though i asked 3 times he could not even say it would be delivered by next week.

Anyway the item was cancelled immiedtly on request which i got an email prooving.

I have given two stars based on the fact that this is obviously NOT a real company but a trader operating a very very small business. Due to that, and the fact he lists as much as a larger company, the fact he appears only to have one phone for the operation, no answering machine, no account system to verify orders etc etc, i would be incredibly wary about this company.

On the other hand he was 100% cool about me cancelling the order, which definatly earns a point!

Might not be quite a fair review as i cancelled the order, so take from it what you will. I orderd from another company, and it has already been dispatched! only a little more in money paid. If you want to take a risk with these guys i think it may be worth it if you are willing to wait, but i would imagine that after sales and support would be weak to non existant with only 2 people, so would advise against puchasing expensive monitors etc.

Over 3 weeks, STILL no item.

Ordered a graphics card from them early march 16th, now 3 weeks later, still no item. It said i would receive confirmation email, up to date emails etc, i haven't received an email yet! I sent an email to the site several hours ago about my item, and no reply yet but i will give them til tomorrow to get back to me. If i hear no word then i will get PayPal to give me a refund and i'll be buying elsewhere, praise PayPal!

Tried them didn't work

After reading both hot and cold reviews I decided it might be worth a try but didn't expect much. Waited a couple of days after the expected weeks delivery then emailed and again a couple more days after that but no reply received. I tried the phone number but that wasn't working either. Just an automated voice saying "Your account is locked"
Good review for PayPal though, a refund was processed in less than a couple of hours after a dispute was filed.

Clearly never sent item, only + is quick refund.

My Item never arrived after the 7 day shipping period so I gave them another couple of days and then sent a querying email. Got no reply so sent a pay pal dispute.
I got a refund within 24hrs of starting the dispute, which is impressive but also clearly means that they still hadn't sent out my order! I never received any communication from the company beyond a clearly false your order has been dispatched email.

Avoid.

F***ing AVOID THIS COMPANY

I payed £108 for a nice monitor from Dealforu.co.uk. I waited 2 weeks, and nothing arrived. I tried to contact the company, but had no reply.

Then one day, i recieved an email from them, saying that my order was delayed. I did NOT believe this at all, because they said it was delayed before the email they sent me. Thanks the lord that PayPal exists, I opened a dispute, and within 24hours I was refunded.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, PROBABLY JUST SOME FAT GUY TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF.

Lesson Learnt: Use Amazon.

I just recently tried to place an order with this website. Of course being the usual feet first kind of person I checked out reviews afterwards and found some very unhappy customers but thought I might be one of the lucky ones, how wrong I was. I waited 2 weeks for any kind of communication regarding my order with no results, not even an acknowledgement. I contacted them through there website (live chat is always unavailable) 3 times and got no response. After the third week I opened a paypal dispute. Usually paypal gives you the standard "we'll email the supplier" and it waits for them to respond. Not with this crowd, it immediately escalated my dispute to a claim with notification on the screen that the selller could not be contacted without even trying. Then I got an email 4 hours later to say I'd been refunded. This as you all know is not standard practice for paypal so obviously they are having trouble with him. In summing up, the prices look great but then again so does the money on a 100-1 horse in the fith but trust me, you've got more chance of winning on the horse than getting goods from dealforu.co.uk.

If you can wait, then big savings can be made

I ordered an Eminent Em1078 USB3.0 memory Card reader and interface card for £36.10 delivered. That was about £13 cheaper than Kikatek and £20 cheaper than some places which was too great a saving to ignore. Therefore I decided to take a chance despite some of the negative reviews. It's clear from these reviews, that some people panic after a few days and start trying to claim for items not received even though the delivery is quoted as 7 days, which is overly optimistic IMO. I ordered late on 2nd May and received the item yesterday, 21st May, 11 full working days later, early AM. I did phone them on the previous Thursday to find out what was happening. I got through on the 2nd call, first was engaged and was told that the one they had was damaged so they were getting a replacement. They offered a refund but I said that I would wait. The next morning I received an email saying it had been despatched.

I don't believe that they keep stock and they probably order what is needed after people have paid for it, which is why there is a long delivery time. Therefore if you need to stretch your money as far as possible and don't need it next day or next week then big savings can be made providing you are not the type to panic and assume the worst. A phone call can give them a nudge to get it ordered/despatched.

In regard to the damaged items that some people say they received, I reckon that is due to the delivery company, which was Citylink who delivered to me. I have never had any problems with Citylink deliveries but I know that some people have had lots of problems with damaged and lost items according to postings on forums.

With regard to people claiming refunds with PayPal, why on earth didn't these people pick up a telephone and call to find out where the order was? Don't they own a telephone? A telephone number is available on the website. It's probably run by two people because the person I spoke to did talk to someone else about the order while I was on the phone.

Therefore I would say, pay with PayPal or a credit card, wait for 8 or 9 working days and if your account shows no update or despatch notification, give them a call. Hopefully, that will get it moving.

This was my first order with dealforu and I would order again providing I can wait for the item. I knocked off 1 star because some improvements in communication with purchasers is needed IMO. Improved customer communication such as updates about delays would help encourage customer confidence which is important for small companies. The email about the order was viewed isn't encouraging and needs some careful re-wording. The website name could also be improved as well. A more professional sounding name would help because the current one sounds a bit dodgy even if it does indicate the savings that can be made.

Responded to email immediately no quibbles

I purchased an Apple Thunderbolt display from dealforu.co.uk. They were far cheaper than any competitor.

Unfortunately but conclusively it arrived damaged (glass clip shards suck inside packing cellphone) so I emailed them and got a response almost immediately with a return merchandise authorisation number and a return address with no quibbles at all.

I have just returned the display today, 30th April 2012 so I will keep you posted on how it goes...!?

con artist and scammers

Paid £200 for a motherboard recently, they show they have stock etc of thousands of items. Turns out this is a little unit in wolverhampton, they have NO stock and if you search for their trading name "ASM Retail Solutions Ltd" you will see they was almost struck off from trading and their business is worth £100 ?, google their trading name and see for yourself. Their contact number is a mobile phone too so for a company like this pretty unprofessional ?
Needless to say I never received my motherboard and got a refund through paypal, thankfully i used them to pay!
They send you no receipt of payment, no updates as nothing to update and do not respond to emails.
Avoid like the plague, use ebuyer, dabs or amazon, dealforu.co.uk are a little set up in some shed somewhere in wolverhampton that just like to play dishonestly!

Cant return my order, no response from them

Since leaving my original review to which Dealforu replied below, and learning that Dealforu had some communication issues which are now fixed, my router was returned to them and I have had a refund.

They arranged collection immediately, and the refund was processed immediately.

The router was returned because it was not the right router I needed, nothing to do with Dealforu, and I originally received it within the time specified, which was great.

So therefore I am very happy now. Issues do happen in work, so I can understand the reason why I had difficult contacting them, but now thats fixed the service was actually great. So my review is 4/5 now.

Unfortunately we have had some issues recently with our email servers, they are now back up and running. In regards to the phoneline, it is manned from 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. If you cannot get through, it could be due to a high volume of calls being received.

surprisingly good service

Having read all the bad reviews of this site i initially decided not to buy, but when the price dropped even further i decided to take the risk. I ordered thursday lunch time, it was dispatched Friday and arrived Monday, with update emails all the way. Couldn't fault it.

I ordered an HTC Desire and am very pleased with it. The only thing the site didn't mention was that it wasn't a UK phone, it was from Europe somewhere so didn't come with English instructions, but they were easily downloaded.

Ordered a Aerocool Strike-X GT Midi-Tower - black/red got to me in less than 7 days and that was over Easter! Had to contact them to see if item was in stock, pleasant and helpful and would do anything they could to help! So I am happy with their service.

Items arrived in the end

Bought 2x Dell monitors and a fan controller, saved about £70 off the next best price I could find. Read some reviews for this company beforehand which didn't exactly seem positive. However they offered Paypal as a payment method so I went ahead and ordered, worst that could happen would be to get the money back via Paypal.

I think what others have mentioned are accurate, this company is probably just one guy ordering parts from Hong Kong (evidenced by the fact that my monitors didn't come with UK power cables), so delivery took about 2 weeks. But at the end of the day I'm got my goods so I'm satisfied. Sent 2 emails chasing delivery and got 1 reply.

Conclusion: Don't order if you're in a rush to get your stuff, but if you're patient you can save quite a bit of money.

Dont buy from them, they dont carry stock they hide behind a website with no address nor telephione number.
i still have not received my goods and now I need to contact the card company to try and get a refund.

Called them but no proper response said ok we will process your order but later no news.

Later after 7-8 days i opened case with paypal (Luckily i paid through paypal) and after 2 days they refunded my money.

Steer Clear

Placed an order using PayPal ... no product and no response from email .... luckily PayPal refunded my money.

Great prices, but pretty pointless if you never receive the item!

Waited a week for some sort of confirmation of shipment, then started emailing and attempting to call over a number of days with no success. I've never had this much hassle with online shopping.

Thankfully Paypal was able to resolve the issue and refund my money.

Ironically the day after the dispute was settled I received an email from the company offering customers a £5 discount, hrmm, might pass.

Save yourself the time and hassle and shop elsewhere, it's not worth it!

They were happy to take my money , but not to answer my emails or give me any kind of status update on my order.

Great prices, a little slow delivery but I knew it would be

I was a bit worried after ordering an I5 2500k + mobo and THEN reading reviews. But tbh all was good. When ordering it was stated 7 working days delivery so thats about 10 days to wait including weekend. It came to the 7th working day and I was sent a 'your order has been dispatched' email, then on the 8th day items arrived.

Me personally I can wait for goods, especially when the prices for what I bought were at least 10% cheaper than elsewhere, even used prices for I5 2500K processors on ebay couldn't compete!

I would shop with them again unless I wanted something in a couple of days. Maybe a faster delivery option would be good, but maybe their purchasing is more a adhoc basis, i dunno.

Anyway thumbs up here

CROOKS!

DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!!!! Having become concerned after reading the reviews following my order for a phone, I was assured by dealforu by email that despite a delay my goods would be delivered within two days. Indeed they were. However, what the hell do I do with a Siemens landline phone with a German instruction book and a German phone socket plug? I've emailed them, but no reply. I've contacted my credit card company, google, Siemens and my solicitor. They are an utter disgrace and when I'm next in Germany on business (where they seem to operate from), I will be paying them a visit.

So far its been fine, a bit slow on postage but otherwise ok

I ordered a thermaltake lev10 a 240gig SSD and LG blue ray all with-in a short period of time, Yes the delivery of the case and drive were above the stated time on the website, after emailing to and fro, Kam gave me the delivery tracking and the goods were here the next day. This is not to say that the customer service is lacking because it is, but the main point is the goods got here all OK. They do need to improve Customer Services desperately, and also the speed of the website but for the price of the goods sold, its a compromise that one should expect. If you want stuff the next day pay £30 to £40 extra and go elsewhere. That is the reason for 4 stars.

STAY AWAY!

This is a scam. This appears to be someone operating from an address which certainly is not dealforu or ASM Retail solutions which is what the Paypal payment is sent to.

DO NOT USE and take other's advice and buy from a decent retailer!!

I ordered a PC case on the 14th of march and guess what it has not arrived had not email reply just the email to say its been paid ect. getting quite annoyed

Ordered PC case CM 690 II. I knew from previous reviews I should be cautious but decided to gamble. And I won! Delivery took 3 weeks. On 4 of my emails they replied to 2 of them. Didn't try ringing.
Not a scam as the product is here, but not the best place to buy if you expect fast delivery. Promised times of 7 days ... maybe, but probably not. Response to your email within 1 day - probably not.
I suspect this is one man firm, ordering parts from Hong Kong. No problem for me as long as I have the product for a good price.

Non existent customer service.

The poor guy operating this business simply cannot handle the volume of orders. I believe the site is legit but the level of service given is next to none. No replies to emails, doesn't pick up the phone. Infact I dont think he cares about his customers at all. Prices here are great, but for the amount of stress that comes along with it all i seriously don't think it is worth it.

If the guy replied and explained for delays then it would be better for everyone including his business. I actually expected the slow delivery but not the none existent customer service that comes with it. As it stands now, a few more days and I will be cancelling my order and buying elsewhere; even if it costs me £20 more. I will definately be haring my experience and opinions with the internet as I don't think this is how customers should be treated.

i bought a asrock h67m-itx excellent very good price compared to other sites. Once your order is placed you will receive some automated emails telling you that the order has been received etc etc. After a week I contacted online support and eventually arrive 11 working days after placing my order well packed. If you want some great prices and are not in a rush for your goods I would recommend and would probably use again.Wulfrun Trading Estate, Wolverhampton, WV10 6HH ONLY SLOW its not a scam!!!! i buy a lot of pc bits slow but i get them 11 days to 14 days

Quick!!!

Yeah very quick to take the money but thats all they are quick at. Ordered a £100 monitor which was £20 cheaper to the next best price. I thought 7 days wait is worth saving £20 but i was very wrong in thinking that. Escalated a claim through paypal and got to wait till 30th to get money back. If i can i will give -5 stars.
Note to self: Allways buy from renowned site may it be double the price
Edit: It arrived on 23rd(on the 10th day after placing the order) so i wont say its a scam but they need to have better customer support and may need to change the dilevery days from 7 to 14.

Ordered a SSD hard drive on 11th march 2012.
At first the email support was quick and responsive with a general enquiry.
I had various emails from the company, saying that the order had been viewed (have not got a clue what that means to a consumer!!), another to say that the order was ready for despatch (again, for a consumer it means nothing) All i wanted to know was when the item would be at the door.
On the site it stated a 5 - 7 day delivery, however, the order had still not arrived on 20th March which was 7 working days later. An email to the company received no response what so ever.
The item arrived on 21st March and was exactly as described.
Service was poor and the delivery was extremely slow, telephone number is a premium rate and receives no answer.
I will not use again.

Avoid

Ordered a Motherboard on the 11th March and received an e mail stating the order had been recieved.12th received another e-mail stating the order had been processed, then nothing, they don't answer e-mails or the enquiries form on their web site and to cap it all, their telephone number doesn't work. Just escalated a claim via Paypal.
Ordered the product from Amazon yesterday evening and it was here the next morning

Useless

Ordered item on 10th March2012, now 21st and still no item or email about delivery, now claiming for item ordered on 13th as well, via paypal, they lost over £300, will never use them again, what happened with delivery within 7days...John

Absolutely a joke!

spent about £200 on a motherboard and gfx card, after receiving a fast automated response for my order confirmation and being able to pay with pay pal i was hopeful and confident i had found a bargain.

Well i was greatly mistaken, the delivery time was 7days, i waited 15 and no items!!!
i tried all methods of contact, email, phone and their online chat option to find out what was happening.
could not get in contact with company at all.

the fact that when you call you get through to a mobile is dodgy!

if i could, i would give zero stars but 1 is minimum i can choose.

this company is a joke and is purely out to scam customers.

however i did manage to settle a dispute through Paypal, who were unable to contact either and refunded my money.

Awful, borderline scam.

After ordering something which claimed to deliver within 7 days, after 5, I hadn't had a dispatch email. After emailing them (they claim to respond in 24 hours) and waiting, I still hadn't heard, so assumed they're a scam and filed a claim with PayPal.
A further 7 days after that, a day or so before the claim was automatically escalated by PayPal, they finally sent the goods which arrived a couple of days later.
In the time it takes for all this to happen, they've dropped the price on their website and quietly ignored my emails to cancel the order or refund the price difference.

During all this time, the only contact I had from them was their automated email system saying order received, paid, dispatched etc. So, zero for cusomter service, zero for delivering on promises, zero for competitive pricing (when they drop the price after you order and still haven't received, it's very annoying)

Unfortunately I need to give them at least one star, even though they deserve no stars.

Very odd - Avoid!

I made an order on the 9th March for a new graphics card, it was about £10 cheaper than Amazon so ever the skinflint I bought it from dealforu.co.uk. Their website stated 7 days for delivery on the product page and the info page stated most items are sent within 2-3 days. I waited until Wednesday and decided to send an email to see when it will be dispatched. No reply for two days (Their website says they will reply within 1 day) so I decided to check their reviews on Google only to find out what I should have checked myself before ordering, that they are not the best company to buy from.

I also found that his trading LTD name, ASM Retail Solutions Ltd, is registered to a residential street which likely means that it's a one man band ordering directly from the manufacturer. And that they also used to trade on Amazon, but no more which just helped heap my suspicion.

I decided to open a PayPal dispute, the dispute process did not allow meditation and went straight to the claim process which apparently means their account is frozen. Less than 24 hours later the claim was settled in my favour I assume by them giving me a refund or PayPal forcing them to. But I'll never know because PayPal never tell you.

I also got a lovely email from the company stating my order has been rejected.

What really annoyed me was that if they refunded me straight away or PayPal forced him to then the order was never even dispatched. If I would have waited patiently I wonder how many weeks it would have taken to get it to me.

So all in all one totally wasted week, I should have just ordered from Amazon. Next time I'll check a few reviews first.
