Dear Pizza Hut Complaints, I would like to bring to your attention some issues I experienced at your Jarman Park (Hemel Hempstead) Branch on Saturday 1st March 2014 between 7.10 and 8pm. I went in and ordered my Pizza's for takeaway with my family. While waiting for my order a young child walking through the restaurant fell over as there was a lot of mess left on the floor by the ice cream machine, which none of your employees did anything about until the child crawled away clutching his arm (I would hope this has been entered in the accident book, however I saw no evidence of this compliance with legislation). Following this I made my order and was told it would be ready in fifteen minutes. I paid and went to wait in my car with my family. I came back after 15 minutes and shortly after some of my order came out. It was then I was told one of my pizzas was five minutes behind as someone had forgotten to put it in. I asked to see the manager to see if there was some way we could amicably resolve this issue. When the staff eventually found the manager she came over to speak to me. At no point did she introduce herself or give me her name. I asked about a small refund as a gesture of good will. Unfortunately she did not know how to do this and said she would need to call her area manager. Following this went away for five minutes. When she returned she was trying to work out from a text how to do the refund. After five more minutes of this she then asked a junior member of staff to help her and spent another five minutes with him trying to work it out. After another few minutes I explained that this really was not expectable and as I had said earlier my family were waiting in the car. I explained that I was quite upset and if they could not resolve this It might be better to refund the whole amount. She did not answer me and instead allowed her junior colleague to work on my refund. Without involving me they refunded the whole amount. I then asked if that meant I was leaving the order. Your manager said yes and quite abruptly good night. I really cannot remember when I last has such a poor service experience. I could not see why your restaurant had these issues as it was only half full and had lots of staff, however the restaurant was such a mess, things on the floor, tables not cleared straight away. I would very much like to hear how you are going to resolve these issues for myself in the here and now and also for your future customers who really do not deserve to be treated in such a way. If you do have a manger working and in charge of your restaurants I believe apart from having good customer service skills, should have control of staff and know what is going on during service, also should really be able to work tills and other equipment. Unfortunately in this case it really seemed like your manager had none of these qualities or skills. I look forward to hearing from you in a reasonable time with an explanation of the poor service levels and what you intend to do about this moving forward.
their inexperience shows. wrong pizza twice and icapable of reading on line order request and because it was ordered online would not do refund have to call 0844 number. dreadful aftersales and cannot do a good job....you have been warned.
The Hemel Hempstead branch is run by kids who have seemingly had no training on hygiene or customer service. They don't give a damn about customers, getting the order right or trying to resolve any issues. No salad in the salad bar, mentioned it to the waitress who said 'yeah I know' but did nothing about it. Wrong pizza delivered to our table, promised a replacement that never came. Dirty plates left behind, had to get a waiter to clear them because no space. No cutlery, had to eat with our hands. Plates were taken from someone else's table which we refused to use. Can't believe Pizza Hut are still in business, they are awful.... Never again. Shame because they seem to have the menu right and the food is good, but staff are a disgrace to the business.
I visit Pizza Hut very often and I have found the food is always good the staff are very helpful and courteous I would highly recommend pizza hut I use the Bingley yorkshire branch Grantham lincolnshire and the castle marina Nottingham maybe these other people should try these Huts and see for themselves The Pizza`s are lovely light and very tasty Highly recommended.
PIZZA HUT IN LIVERPOOL 1 HAD THE MOST REVOLTING MEAL! STARTERS WERE STILL FROZEN ALL UNDERCOOKED WEDGES SOGGY CHICKEN WINGS NOT COOKED PIIZZA WAS COLD AND VERY DRY WAS MEANT TO BE BBQ SAUCE UNFORTUNATELY WE HAD A PLANE TO CATCH SO WAS JUST A QUICK BITE BEFORE FLIGHT SO DIDNT HAVE TIME TO SEND BACK OR COMPLAIN EVEN THOUGH THE STARTERS & PIZZAS WERE LEFT NO-ONE QUESTIONED IT PAID £51.00 AND WAS SICK 10MIN AFTER LEAVING RESTAURANT! NOT RECOMMENDED! ALSO READ OTHER REVIEWS AND NOTICED PIZZA HUT MUSTN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AS THEY DON'T RESPOND!
After calling non stop 25 times in total and calling around to find out why they are not answering no apology and this is not the first time this has happened, they take forever to answer, the deals seem great but the basics is not what people want when there is better on offer so the price goes up quickly, I like the food so do order from them but the service is rubbish and delivery man turns up with other people in his car smoking and not always just smoking cigarettes, discussing service, they need to learn from dominoes they actually give a crap about the customer!!!
Pizza Hut have some good offers online - most recently the 50% off the total bill. They also deliver within 30 minutes of the order being placed. That is, however, where the positives end. The actually quality of the food, from their cardboard pizzas to the plastic-tasting potato skins, is very poor.
If you want a better tasting pizza, head to Dominos.
We ordered from the Pizza Hut Delievery in southsea portsmouth, after an hour of no food, we phoned and they said it would be an additional 45mins but they'd give us a £10 credit voucher which was ok, but they delievered us the wrong food and no voucher, so we rang up and they said they'd deliever our right pizza asap, after another half an hour, we rang again and they said it would be another half an hour it get it cooked and delievered, which would mean waiting 3 hours for the food we ordered, we ordered an half 8, and still have no food at 11:30... I'd never go back to them again, worst service i've ever received, do not order from them,
I have ordered from pizza hut deliver a number times in Middlesbrough. After constantly taking hours to deliver food. Getting orders wrong every single time I would certainly not recommend this poor service.
I even made a complaint which was ignored. Stay away unless you have 2 hrs to wait for your food and happy with ice cream being missed on order, wrong dips etc etc
I would think very carefully before using Pizza Hut again after my recent experience. Having seen their adverts for 50% off everything I placed an order via their website. The website had no indication as to whether or not the discount was included and even when you tried to click onto a discount part of their site, it made no difference.
Went ahead with the order as by this point me and my friend were getting fed up and hungry.
When collecting the pizza we were told they'd made a mistake and given us the wrong base. Were we offered anything for the inconvenience? No.
Also realised when I got home they'd left 2 of my sauce pots off the order.
Complete sham from start to finish. Its Pizza for god sake!! How hard is it?!!
My teenage son is addicted to pizza and over the last few months we have tried several Pizzahuts in London's West End. Firstly they lull you into believing there's plenty of seats by having the visible part of the restaurant fairly quiet. When you enter they then direct you, dependent on the specific "Hut" either upstairs or downstairs, where you then wait in a queue for a table. You then sit and wait for your order to be taken. Then wait for your drinks. Then wait for your starters. Then wait for your main course. Then wait and wait for the bill. These places have nearly made me lose the will to live! I complained to their Head Office and got a voucher to use for another Pizzahut "experience"... that one was all about waiting too. There's lots more to complain about with regards to the staff and the staff attitude... To be fair, the food is reasonable for this type of place. BUT the staff and loss of many hours of your life easily detract from that.
To cut this very long story short, me and my partner ordered £25 worth of pizza from our local pizza hut, the online page said WE HAD TO pay online.. which we did. When the pizzas got delivered my partner ACCIDENTLY gave the delivery girl £25 as paying online for a few pizzas is not the norm and he totally forgot. The delivery girl TOOK THE MONEY and off she went. After the pizza we both realized what had happened and we tried to ring Pizza Hut, which was then closed. I rang them the VERY next day as to which they said they were going to contact a manager and get him to contact me back. With a lot of backward and forward calls they said they had no evidence that the delivery girl took the money as her till was not up in money, to which i stated.. OF COURSE HER TILL WAS NOT UP SHE PUT THE DAMN MONEY IN HER POCKET!! Again they said there was nothing they could do. I ended up going to my local pizza hut store where the delivery girl was from and kicking off. The store then phoned the police and tried lieing saying I assaulted the delivery girl (which I did not.. CCTV in shop am i really that stupid??!). The police then banned me from the store..
BASICALLY.. I PAYED £50 FOR TWO PIZZAS THAT WERE ACTUALLY COLD, AND NEARLY GOT ARRESTED!!!! absolutely appauled and I have told all of my friends and will continue to tell people
At the weekend I decided to indulge my craving for fast food and ordered a pizza from Pizza hut despite having not ordered anything for a year. I specifically asked for no mushrooms on my order as I am allergic to it. Guess what arrived, pizza with loads of mushrooms on top.
I have complained to customer services and I was told it is a local issue and I need to ring the branch. The branch said there is nothing they could do as they are about to close but I should write to head office. So yes, all I could do is pick all the mushrooms off and hope that I didn't have an adverse reaction. The garlic bread was burnt, the chicken side order wasn't cooked properly. This is not the first time that they have got my order incorrect. To top it all off, instead of using the doorbell (clearly visible), the delivery man was banging on my window. Given my last experience, Pizza hut will never ever get a penny of my hard earned cash again.
When I order a take-away I like to know what I'm getting and from Pizza Hut I do. The product is not perfect but it is consistent and you do get what you ordered.
When I order from Pizza Hut I am not expecting something like an authentic pizza from Italy but rather the same pizza I received from them the previous time I ordered. After all, if I'm ordering again it's fair to assume that I like the product. This being the case, it's product consistency that is key to the customer’s pleasure and also their repeat business. I can also vouch that the product is so consistent that even in places as far as Mexico, Thailand, Cyprus and the U.S.A the pizza is the same. The menu choice may differ and the toppings may taste a little different but the amount of topping you get, the dough and the cheese all come together to give you just what you were expecting.
The only thing I would say on the negative side is that the dough is a little fluffy nowadays and has been that way for maybe a couple of years. I'm not sure of the reason for this but would guess at it being health related. I would dearly love to know. If this is that reason then I would remind Pizza Hut and its customer's that pizza is not a health food or indeed, particularly good for calorie controlled diets and dieters (believe me, I know!) so please change it back to the way it used to be if at all possible.
If people (me included) want to diet, then it’s plenty of fruit and veg, nothing fried. No pastry and a general reduction in all bready products (and Sweets of course) but certainly not Pizza. Pizza is for taste and texture and so more of that please and if the dieters want/need to be catered for then how about coming out with an all new healthier base specifically for them?
The fluffy dough situation did put me off the product for a while and so I went to Domino's but although their dough/base is firmer you never know what you're going to get as far as the rest of the pizza is concerned.
It is this lack of consistency that brought me back and I have every faith that Pizza Hut will improve the dough. I'm hopeful anyway.
Oh yeah, and one more thing I'd like to ask Pizza Hut. "Any chance of bringing the 'Sicilian' Base back again?"
I do like pizza from the hut so can knock the food for what it is........but the website seems to always have problems with the page timing out at checkout, resulting in having to try and re order 2 or 3 times before it goes though.
