As a first time customer I had reservations about ordering from an unfamiliar seller. I purchased one bottle of OPI "Ate Berries in the Canneries" (a marvelous shade that brings joy to my fingertips) through Demon Beauty via Amazon.
I paid around £7.50 for the nail varnish itself and around £1.50 for postage (approximate prices), so for less than the standard price of one OPI nailvarnish (and a bus fare into town!) it was delivered to my door within the week.
I doubted that this could be a genuine OPI product but after comparing it to my other OPI's and wearing the shade for a couple of days my fears have mostly been laid to rest. The creme gloss formula seems to be consistent with what I expect from OPI, the wear also withstood three days of work. The packaging is very similar to my other OPI's, the only difference being the bottle top. This could be due to the fact that the shade belongs to a 2009 collection and OPI have since updated their packaging.
As for the colour, while it is beautiful, it is definitely more purple than the swatches I have seen online. However so many things could account for this - different top coats, camera flashes, natural light vs. indoor lighting etc. I owned this shade around 2 years ago when it first came out and vaguely remember it being more pink than purple but my memory, to be quite honest, is not the steel trap I like to think it is! The shade is almost an exact dupe of Estee Lauder Pure Colour in "Sweet Pea".
Irregardless, I am fully satisfied with the transaction and am in fact looking at the website to place another order right now! I had no problems with delivery, and did not need to contact them at all. The package arrived with a £2 discount voucher for the website which is a generous and clever gift as for nail varnish addicts like myself it will not be wasted!
Overall I would recommend Demons Beauty to family, friends and internet strangers :)
