Excellent service in all respects!
I have now placed 2 orders with DDS. Each time the dispatch and delivery has been very prompt. On both occasions I asked for additional technical information before placing my orders. This was handled immediately by someone who clearly knew and understood the issues. However, in one respect DDS are underselling themselves! I ordered a Guardian II DDR (4 channel) and thought that (as described) it represented good value for money for my needs. When the unit arrived, I found that included in the price were a Power Adapter (12v), a Remote Control and an optical Mouse. None of these items were mentioned in the description of the unit on the website. So, the "value for money" was even better than I thought. Perhaps the website needs revising, so that potential customers know how much they are getting!

Hi decided to perchace a good system the tec side is a bit above us but no problem the lads at digital security are pleasent and helpfull will talk you through the tec bit on the phone we find this realy gives us peace of mind

Great Product & Great Support
These guys know what they are doing. Great product at a great price (going to get another system for my girlfriends holiday rental house soon). Then when I had a bit of difficulty the tech support was first class without any fuss. The system works beautifully and is one of those things you buy that actually exceed your expectations.

Very accommodating and patient
Very good advice on selection of equipment needed.
Once installed the set up and assistance from Mr. David Houston was excellent especially considering my very limited computer knowledge.

A good product with excellent service.
I just bought these cameras to use in a shop. The quality is very reasonable; it gives good and clear picture (480 TVL) with a decent, built-in wide angle lens plus the price is not too expensive.

Excellent professional service
Purchased CCTV equipment from DDS for my house in South Africa. Easy setup but Jake at DDS is amazing. Using Teamviewer, he setup my CCTV DVR to my iPhone and iPad. I can now monitor my house from anywhere in the world.

Good detailed unrushed professional advice
I had searched for security cameras and as usual was inundated with results. I found Digital Direct and called them to actually speak to a real person. I had my call answered and a very friendly, helpful and well informed person spent 20 minutes discussing my precise requirements and even used Google Maps to look at my property to advise on placement.
I subsequently ordered everything as they advised and they will even remotely set-up the system for me once installed.
This is the kind of service that is unfortunately all too rare but totally invaluable. All companies should aspire to this service level.

Excellent aftercare
bought a four camera system from DDS a number of years ago. Recently had problems with power to the cameras.I sent an E-mail Explaining this and they came back with links to replacement switching unit and cables, The cameras are working fine now.

Excellent service and kit.
Although due to the weather, I haven't as yet installed the system, I've checked all the system equipment and connections. I have to say that my CCTV contractor and myself are very impressed by the kit, and it's definately cost effective. I recieved the system on time as promised. Excellent and reliable.
Even though I did not know much about cctv Digital Direct Security did not let me down. They helped me with everything including installation and assisted me in chosing the right products. They are completely honest and reliable and do not try and charge an unrealistic and excessive price unlike a lot of other cctv suppliers. Their prices are competitive and they are very friendly helpful and easy to deal with. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products. Their aftersales service is very good as well. Highly recommended.

Great service
You can really tell the quality of a company when things go wrong. I placed two internet orders and got muddled on both - not a great advert for me but to their absolute credit they sorted the problems out quickly and without question.
The products supplied were well packaged and arrived exactly as promised.
If my experience is typical - and I suspect it is, they you couldn't ask for a more helpful company. I will be recommending them to others.

very professional and helpful
I got their details in an internet search. There was a helpful sales representatvie who talked me through what i have already installed and what was needed to mend it. The product turned up within 1 working day (Monday from Friday), and the post-sales team talked me through and then set u remote access. Very helpful. Would recommend.

delivery was prompt but the CCTV equipment does not give ggod enough images so I can't read a number plate 10 metres away
I've bought this CCTV equipment thinking that I could record the number plates of vehicles parking in front of my gates but the definition is not good enough! This in sharp contrast to my camera. I rang them and told them but theys said that you have to pay a lot more vfor that definition. I have just put it undermy desk and have'nt used it since the disappointing trial

With the kit you purchased, it is not possible to view number plates. For number plates you need to zoom the camera to only view width of the vehicle with our pro-series cameras.
You purchased the kit in July 2012 without any call to us. I am afraid we cannot accept returns 7 months later.

Awesome service and backup support
This company is honest, informed and helpful. The products are good quality and competitively priced. After having some difficulty with the network setup and remote access, a 20 minute call to the support line, and I was up and running. I can't find a single bad thing to say.

Having never contemplated installing or setting up a CCTV system before I was a bit apprehensive, but after speaking to a sales person at DDS my mind was put at ease. Recommendations were made a solutions were found to install the system as I wanted it done.
