Companies like this give internet trading a bad name.
I ordered some light fitting mounts from them and in the first instance I was called up by the company asking for MORE money as the price on the website was wrong and they wouldn't let it go for that amount. I was a little shocked however the difference wasn't huge and it was still cheaper than I could find elsewhere so I paid.
I then wanted to return one of these as it was surplus to requirements and I was within the 7 day cooling off period, I tried calling a few times but got no answer so sent an email. Left a few days and no reply, I emailed again. Few days later and still no response. Getting towards the end of the 7 day cooling off period and Im getting concerned so I try calling again. This time I do get an answer, they confirm they have had the emails but don't explain why they haven't replied. They say 'Sure, send this back and we will refund' so I sent it off via UPS.
The package was signed for by them two weeks ago and despite sending three more emails asking when they will issue my refund I am being ignored yet again.
I am not even that bothered about the cost. Its value is £11.52 and I spend £5 sending it back to them as I wanted to send it via a reliable service so its obviously not a great deal I stand to gain.
The low level of customer service and dodging responsibility is infuriating and I wish I had said no when they first called asking for money.
If you use this company you will end up regretting it. Im not sure if they dont know know what they are doing or whether they are doing things like this on purpose but most people seem to have the same experience here, its like getting blood out of a stone.
Ordered a specialist bulb over 3 weeks ago. No reply to email. When I called them the telephone operative was dissinterested and unapologetic. Promised a call back yesterday for which im still waiting.
I ordered a exterior LED light fitting with microwave sensor, delivered quickly however the light had been previously fitted so there were mounting holes already drilled, scratches to the cover and screws missing from cable cover. I emailed company twice but with no reply. Very poor.........
Allthough a little late, DTS has now contacted me. Very applogetic and have offered to resolve. Looks like emails went missing .
Ordered an item on Sunday through website. Made note of order number but didn't receive confirmation email. Checked my bank account on Tuesday and the funds had left my account. When the item still hasn't arrived on Wednesday morning I rang them and was told they had been having problems with emails but that my order would be dispatched that day and with me the following day (thursday)and that I would receive a confirmation text of the delivery. At 15:41 on the Thursday I received the text saying that it will be with me on Friday. Hopefully this isn't another lie and it will only have taken them 6 days to get my order to me. Will not be purchasing from this company again. The item I ordered was a fan for the bedroom so have had to spend a few extra nights than expected sweating in bed. Thanks
My first order with direct trade supplies, I found every aspect from ordering to delivery a pleasant experience. The goods were ordered on a Tuesday and were delivered the next day. I will certainly use them again. Many thanks and well done
