I ordered a Karcher Pressure Washer through Amazon on a Saturday evening. It arrived on Monday morning, so despite other reviewers having bad experience with the delivery service, my personal experience was exceptional.
The product arrived well packaged and boxed, all the additional items that came with the product were present, the product is fantastic and I have had absolutely no problems with it all.
You can only review your own experience, and mine is exemplary.

I have now been without my steam generator iron for four weeks. In a busy working household of five, i relied heavily upon this piece of equipment. Despite still being under the two year warranty that came standard with the machine, i have contacted yourselves no less than seven times regarding this matter and to no avail. I have emailed you and got no response, then i tried the customer service number you provide which is an automated answering service which just refers you back to the email option. I am still left in limbo regarding this matter. How you can still be in business while not providing any customer service to your buyers is beyond me!!! I will be spreading the word regarding your company and recommending that people buy their good elsewhere. I would rather pay more for an item if i know i will get the sufficient customer service thats supposed to come with the unit!!!
Ordered the villaware coffee machine with the groupon voucher - as we were away for a few days waited to order when we returned. Sent within a few days, but got lost in the yobbo system - telephoned "discount emporium" after emails were not answered - a wonderful lady chased it up with the yobbos, and as soon as it became clear that it was "lost" sent out a replacement via parcelforce - this arrived the next day.
Would I use them again - probably - but I think their customer service dept (not sure there's more than one person) needs sizing to cater for the volume of calls when a groupon offer is live -- Also PLEASE STOP USING YOBBOS.

I bought through Groupon and was amazed at the speed of the delivery I was expecting it to take 28 days but I had my product within 14 days. The packing and the product were both fantastic and I have tried my Steam Mop and it is amazing. I would recommend both companies to all of my family and friends without reservation.
I ordered a Vax carpet washer through Groupon. Was not impressed with the speed of delivery - the company failed to realise that if good service was given to people with a voucher, they were more likely to return to the site! The item developed a fault almost immediately. The website states they have a "no quibble" returns policy. I filled in the online form and waited 2 days before they responded, informing me I would receive a returns label (which never arrived). They also wanted me to take the item to a depot which was a 30 minute drive from where I live, and then it would be a further 7 days before a replacement would be sent out. In the end I contacted Vax and they had a replacement item on my doorstep within 3 days - now THAT is no-quibble returns!
Product was fine, but awful waste of money for delivery and Discount Emporium just seem to act as a conduit for Groupon... 10 days when paying for shipping is "For Orders Placed Before 11am We Aim to Expedite Next Day Delivery Where Possible (Excepting Weekends" - Groupon orders take 10 days! What rot, won't bother again, not a massive saving BUT was a massive wait...
I bought a coffee machine through Groupon. Delivery took a long time and no-one replied to my email I sent asking where my parcel was. That would only suggest to me that the company was either very small and didn't have many people behind the IT and customer service dep or they are just not very customer conscious. BUT an BIG plus + for the actual deal itself! That was a great deal!!
Apart from that little issue, the coffee machine is great and helps me to wake up to a lovely aroma in the morning.
Very please with the service and delivery of my Villaware Die Cast Expresso machine. Very much 'did as said on the tin' delivery was prompt and item was packed well. Only thing missing was an invoice as a proof of purchase. Did panic slightly at start, as the first test use took about 4 attempts, (did actually go and redeemed the boxes from recycle bin as thought would have to be returning) but all was fine and producing lovely expresso
We were very pleased with the speed of delivery and apart from two minor niggles , ie. 5 attempts to prime it and a very stiff lock release which has rectified itself, we now enjoy lovely coffee from a very smart machine. The lady at the helpline whom we phoned regarding the lock release went to great lengths to try and resolve the problem, even suggesting that she have it replaced immediately.Very pleased with Discount Emporium and the item.
I got my villaware coffee machine and it is great, I did notice that from new you need to test it about five times before water came out so do try for longer when you first try it out.
I would of liked to have had a receipt for the item as it comes with three year guarantee, no good without receipt.
Like others it took for ever to arrive but as this was a groupon deal I think we had to wait untill the offer had closed before they ordered the machine from there suppliers.
Ordered a Coffee Machine with a Groupon Voucher and delivery time was extended because of the success of the offer. Tried to get them to deliver before a planned holiday (ie to original scheduile) as machine would have been stuck outside. Their initial response missed the point and gave me a delivery time after I would have left. I wrote again and although they didn't respond (other than automated e-mail) machine arrived within two days. Really pleased with product and would use Discount Emporium again - they were clearly slightly overwhelmed but they tried to handle it pretty well.
Having purchased a Villaware coffee machine, i decided to pay extra for delivery so i could receive my purchase to my door. The delivery took an absolute age to come. When i tried to use the machine for the first time it would not work, so i gave Discount Emporium a call she assured me they had had a similar query earlier in the day and didnt think it was anything major and assured me i would receive a call later that day or the day after. 3days later still no call,so i decided to call direct to Villaware who were much more helpful and they arranged direct with myself to collect the machine to take it for repairs. I am however still awaiting it's return fully working, 'hopefully'. Would i buy from Discount Emporium again?? I doubt it very much im still awaiting the inital call back i was promised.
I bought a wonderful Villaware espresso machine via Groupon. Here lies the problem I think. I'm sure Groupon purchasers get a second class service. It took an age to dispatch and neither of my two emails, one of which was bounced back saying it was a bad address, were answered (and yes I did use their website enquiry form). Moreover, when I telephoned firstly there was no answer then when it was answered the receiver was immediately put down. In the end I telephoned Groupon who were not a lot better. Eventually I did manage to contact them and the response was to read of a script. Anyway, finally the machine did arrive and very good it was too. Whether my blood pressure is up to another purchase, the jury is out!
ordered a juicer with a groupon coupon. it took nearly 2 months before i got it, noone answered my emails regarding the delivery and didn't even get an order confirmation.... all in all very poor performance on customer service side, but juicer is good
I ordered a George Foreman Grill through Groupon and then received a voucher to purchase it from Discountemporium.co.uk - everything went smoothly and I received my grill within two working days, which was excellent, thank you so much xxx
I bought this item using a Groupon Discount voucher, the item was over 60% discounted and cost £45 plus postage. The brochure pictures looked very good and the item was dispatched to me within a week. I was however disappointed with the item once I began to unpack it. The basket had been finished to a poor quality and the plates and glasses are what can only be described as factory seconds. I can only say that I am glad that I didnt pay the full £90 for the item but still feel that £45 was too much for such an inferior product.
Couldn't have asked for better service. Great notifications and when the couriers messed up, I had to do nothing, but wait an extra day or two. They even accomodated a very late change of address for a house move.
Really couldn't ask for more (except maybe use a different delivery company!!)
I bought a Groupon and had difficulties with redeeming it. It took 4 days to get it to work (no it wasn't over a weekend). The time from order to shipping was very long. But I guess my customer value is less as I was buying their product at a discounted price.
I bought and recieved my groupon voucher for a VAX on April 10th and my code will still not work. Groupon have reset the code and it isnt working and no-one from this company is getting back to me. It says to complete the online contact us form but no-one has contacted me. I have again submitted my details but this has been dragging on for a month now. Very poor service from both Groupon and discountemporium.co.uk
I recently purchased a VAX carpet cleaner via Groupon. Redemption time was accurate and the service was excellent! I love the fact that dispatch time was only up to 10 days, where other companies might make you wait up to 28 days!
Discount Emporium notifies you every step of the way, from when your product is being processed, then when it's shipped out along with a reference number for you to track; it really gave me a piece of mind!
I will definitely shop there again!
my goods arrived in a broken damaged box goods inside all damage as they weren't wrapped and made of cheap plastic

The coupon worked well and the goods were received very promptly within a few days of placing my order but I was disappointed with the item, the box was battered and inside the bag that the machine was in was heavy with dust.
I haven't tried the machine yet but hope that it performs OK.
Overall the machine look secondhand and the offer from Groupon was not for a secondhand machine
Bought a Vax on a Groupon offer and although I had difficulty with the voucher, Groupon suggested this was to do with volume. Voucher worked fine after a couple of days and once the order had been placed the Vax arrived in two days, was as described and works well. The only disappointment was that at the beginning there was an extra offer to buy Vax solution when you ordered, by the time my voucher worked you couldn't add this to the order. Wouldn't put me off using again though!
