Hi all, I received my dress today and it's beautiful, it fits perfectly and the material is lovely. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day it's just stunning. Thank you all, I will definitely be recommending diydress. Many thanks x
We bought a dress for my fiance for our wedding was broken already when we open theparcel not to talk about the poor quality of materials used , the quality of fancy dresses you buy for one use only . So hard to get somthing from the as they blame us for their incompetence . My advice don't buy especially they are overseas and it will be impossible to deal with them in getting a refund Avoid Avoid Avoid
I struggled to find a unique dress that was under £200 on other websites but I finally found my beautiful prom dress at an AMAZING price. The service was quick and easy I gave my measurements and my dress arrived right on time. I ordered it custom sized and I'm so glad I did- the fit is perfect. The dress is stunning. The craftsmanship on the dress is beyond my imagination. The fabric feels nice ,Over all extremely happy with the quality of service!
I bought my daughters prom dress from these people for £120.99. It was supposedly custom made, for which I paid extra. When it arrived I was speechless! The chiffon was cheap polyester/nylon. It was about 4 inches smaller than our measurements and it was a different colour and design. When I complained to customer services and asked for my money back I was given every excuse in the book, my measuring was wrong, the colours were wrong on my monitor and the design was their interpretation of the picture!!!!! They totally refused to give me my money back even though their refunds policy said they should refund. We exchanged 78 emails with them ending in me being called pathetic. Luckily a lady has set up a Facebook page called diydress reviews on Facebook and that helped me to get my money back via my banks chargeback scheme, it took 6 months though. This company use other websites pictures and make very very poor copies of what you see, they post their own reviews which always say things in poor English (see others on this site) and are very rude when you complain. Keep away from diydress, who also trade as b2cdress and magicmoment dress. They will take your money and sent you unusable rubbish.
From the Diydress FB page you will see that many customers like me have been ripped off for poor quality goods from this china based company who do not refund- my dress was 5' too small poor quality fabric and left me £140 out of pocket. They initially had the audacity to say that the measurements were correct even when provided with photographic evidence and measured by independent third party. They conceded by asking me to take to tailor to adjust- where I would find 5 inches spare I do not know! If u want to face grief and experience rude, incompetent staff and waste money then this is the site to go to- I learnt the hard way, save yourself and don't ruin your plans for a special day with a dress which has only one place- the bin!
