I took the course Microsoft Excel 2010 (MOS) Certification with E-careers to refresh my knowledge and after I have successfully finished I got interested in Sage 50. I do recommend E-careers to my friends and family.
E-Careers regularly offer "discounted" courses with a limited time remaining to purchase at the lower price. They do this to rush you into purchasing a course which appears to be good value without reading the small print. However at no point during the multiple occasions I spoke to them on the phone was I informed that my MCSA Server 2012 course did not include the exam (therefore not being able to get Microsoft certified without having to pay hundreds of pounds extra for the actual exam).
While I realise this is partially my fault for not asking, I have never undertaken an online course and would not expect an online course you pay hundreds of pounds for to have these hidden costs. Upon requesting a refund I was refused because their terms and conditions state that once a course has been activated to an account, refunds are not available. Fair enough, but WHY? No physical product has been dispatched to me that would be returned as B-Stock that would be understandable. But I do not see why a course cannot be cancelled and removed from an account. Their system clearly states I have been logged in for no more than 5 minutes, definitely not enough time to steal course material.
The bottom line is I am out of work and now out of pocket with the last bit of money I was saving for a course to help me into employment. If the exam was included as they make out all would be well but the fact is I cannot afford the extra £300 it will cost me to take the exam to get me back in to work. I am not the first person to leave a negative review of this company but it seems they respond faster to removing these reviews than they reply to your emails when you have an issue. Also a lot of these 5 star reviews look engineered.
So PLEASE read all small print in respect to your course before using this company. Ensure that the course meets your exact purposes because gaining a refund after the 7 days after your purchase (in accordance with the distance trading regulations) is extremely unlikely.
I found the Sage 50 course value for money. The course was well planned and covered all aspects of the software. When I phoned the student support department, they were very helpful and sorted out the teething problems I was having with the software. The tutorials were very informative and interactive. I would recommend this site to family and friends too.
I bought a project management e-learning course earlier this year (EC1199) and it was brilliant. I completed it over several months and found the structure of the course into small bite sized chunks really easy to use, especially as I could fit a lesson in when I had a few spare hours. The course content is really accurate and does reference other supporting documents and websites, which is excellent if you want additional information. The tests and exercises helped me to ensure I learned each of the topics by practising and testing my knowledge. I will certainly purchase another course in the future! Lisa Flounders
I must admit I've never found such a well put-up customer service as I've found at e-Careers. I took the Adobe Photoshop CS5 & CS6 course and had some problems with finishing lessons. These friends (especially Jenny and Mary Jane) took the time to help me and saw to it that I got them all finished. I'm so glad to find such service-minded personnel! Thank you very much!

the course voucher. Maybe my computer did not work properly or I did stop too early and did not received the course at e-Careers. I was worried - but not any more. I completed a course on Prince2 with E-Careers and was very impressed with the quality of the course, their customer service and facilities. I would certainly consider them for my next studies if they happen to offer it and will recommend to my friends.
This online course was excellent as it allowed me to gain the experience i need for my job and worked around my working hours. The information the course provided was useful and the learning methods it used were brilliant as it allowed me to see how the processes of Sage worked as well as allowing me to practice.
I did Sage 50 with e-careers. The course was easy to understand and walked me through each and every little detail. The assessments can be done and redone as many times as you like. So you can try them out even when you are half way through the training. Great experience at good value. Easy process to apply for a certificate too!
I bought the course on 23 Nov 2013 but nothing was appearing on my account, I contacted E Careers through the online support and I was served by Rachel, I am very pleased by the the customer services received and the issue was resolved in lightning speed. Very well done, five stars for you guys.
I can't review the course because I haven't started yet. I had a problem registering for some reason, but that has been swiftly sorted out using the online chat room with a genuinely helpful representative. Makes a refreshing change to find someone so helpful! :)
I would refer e-careers Sage 50 Plus course to anyone requiring to either learn or update their Sage skills. Easy to use and at the same time great value for money. 24/7 access is a great benefit which enabled me to update my Sage skills as and when it was convenient for me. So impressed; I am currently completing another course via e-careers!
I really enjoyed this course as it taught me everything I needed to know to help me at work. It was very well explained and easy to follow. In the future, if I ever need to study another course, I will definitely use this company again. If I ever had a problem, the chat facility allowed my questions to be answered very quickly. Overall a brilliant company, great help and great course content.!

Thank you e-careers for your feedback which in no way addresses the phrase "terrible, rude customer services". All you have reflected on is the "lot of correspondence on file from yourself with regards to your e-career course", which I think is a highly indicative of the problems I have been having with one of your staff members, a customer services manager. Your further comment "far as we can see we have done all we can to help you" to really points to the term "complete jobsworth". Well done on validating my complaint.
I chose the MICROSOFT 2010 COURSE to improve my knowledge and-also to find my way around the Tool Bars..The amazing thing is, it is set out in very easy steps all the way through the program, which made it easier to manage & retain my online learning..There was no rush to complete the course and no time limit, this allowed me to be confident in completing the course.. Thank you to the E-Careers Team....

IAB Computerised Accounting for Business L2 - completed course quickly and easily having had a fair bit of previous knowledge with AAT L4. Mostly interested in the Sage bit for my new job. I found the text book easier to work from rather than keep switching screens about and will use this for the foreseeable future in my new role.
A few glitches in the software but quickly addressed by the support team. I'm thinking about doing next level but expensive when funding yourself. Looking forward to using my newly acquired Sage knowledge when transferring company on to Sage in the new year, also the bonus of having the software to practice on is a plus.
All in all a good experience.
