I got lucky. I'd never heard of them before. I'd filled in Billing Details and Delivery Details and clicked to go the payment page when I got suspicious of the total costings - no mention of VAT! Whilst the payment page was loading I found Trust Pilot and it seems that my suspicions are well founded. Although, thankfully I haven't been ripped off because I noticed in time, there appears to be something incredibly dodgy about these people!
P.S. WAS FORCED TO GIVE 1 STAR!!!!!!!!
I got lucky. I was at the checkout stage when I got suspicious - no mention of VAT. As the payment page was loading I Googled them and discovered their true colours. Needless to say, I didn't go ahead with the purchase!
FORCED TO GIVE THEM A STAR BY TRUSTPILOT. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!!!!
These people are blatant thief’s cheats and fraudsters. They ripped me off last year for a camera. They have been reported to the authorities including Police and Trading Standards. I cannot believe they are still trading. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.
Hello everyone, I bought a Lacie cinema hard-drive from edock for £127. I normally do my online shopping with the large sites like Amazon for peace of mind, but as this site was recommended through google shopping I thought it must be a legitimate online retailer. Anyway, to cut the story short: money was taken, no item sent; knew something was wrong. Contacted my bank & I've now been refunded my money, & also I'd like to say I paid with a debit card. I hope this is of help. Thanks.
Jin
Wish I'd known about this site before ordering through e.dock, would have saved me £70 odd and a lot of aggro.
Basically same story as some others, order a set of headphones for my son, got charged twice and no goods arrived. Paid via credit card so attempting to get refund via them but, if I'm honest, not expecting much.
Tried e-mailing, no response, tried phoning, what a waste of time and effort!
Next e-mail will be to the BBC's Watchdog programme to make them aware of this scam company.
Would be intrested to know if anyone has actually spoken to e-dock.
He's ripped my Mother in law off who was trying to by myself a gift for Christmas.
They hit her card 3 times for 1 item
Now thankfully she managed to get her bank to give her a full refund, all you have to do is wait 15days then you can apply for a full refund.

Ordered some headphones from them on 17th November, took the money off my credit card that day, no goods received and no responses to 3 emails sent since, phone number just rings out. Their website now says they've had a major server failure and is no longer available.
Transaction on my credit card statement was shown as "Tomson Direct", looked them up online and they seem to be the same company at the same address with the same contact details and the same fake service and goods. Check out reviews on trustpilot.co.uk for Tomson Direct and it's the same story of no goods, no customer service and a lot of upset customers.
Advertised prices on these sites are typically lower than reputable retailers like Amazon, in these hard times everyone is looking to save a few quid, but please don't make the same mistake, especially this close to Christmas. Do not order anything from edock.tv or tomsondirect.co.uk, for the sake of a few quid, save yourself the heartache and hassle of losing money and not getting your goods, spend the extra and order from the big boys that we all know and trust. I have certainly learned a lesson.
If you have paid these scammers money on your credit card, get in touch with the credit card company and report a disputed transaction. If the transaction value is over £100 they are jointly liable for fulfilment of the contract and you should be able to get a refund, similarly if it is under £100 ask for a "chargeback" which is basically the same thing but doesn't have the joint liability. Debit cards are also covered under "chargeback" legislation, so get in touch with your bank. As far as I know if you paid via PayPal you can register a disputed transaction which they should refund but takes a bit longer.
There is plenty of legislation in the UK to help with this - Distance Selling Regulations obligate such "mail order" suppliers (which includes online retailers) to fulfil contracts within 30 days otherwise if there has been no contact or alternative arrangements made the transaction is legally deemed null and void and you are entitled to get you money back.
I purchased an internet tablet (£268) for my son as a christmas prsesnt and after 3 weeks I have realised i've made a huge mistake. The money was taken out of my account and paid into an account which no longer exists and under a company name which has never existed. Need I say anything more??
Claiming from Credit Card company, will let you know how it goes. Does anybody know how to complain to Google Shopping? This seller was recommended to me by the Google Shopping service.
Complete rip off, this company is a complete scam. You may as well throw your money in a fire. You will not get your goods but you will lose your money.
Bought a nintendo DSI XL on 19 November 2011. No reply to emails, telephone number for customer services is invalid.
Now trying to get a refund from m bank, be aware, stay away from these charlatans

Ordered speakers online. Payment went though but no conformation number or email from them. Following morning tried calling. The customer service number is unobtainable and no-one answers the sales line. Wish I'd read all of these comments before I placed the order. Worst online shopping experience I've had. All of these dreadful comments can't be wrong.
DO NOT USE!!
At least 20 phone calls to a line that just goes dead and numerous email, I have handed over to my credit card company's fraud department, as always a deal that seems to good is!
avoid like the clap
Asus GPU Geforce GTX 580 £274
Ordered item 27th June. E-dock took payment £120 out of my bank 3 times yes you read it right 3 times and didn't even send item.after many phone calls ( all unanswered) and numerous e-mails they sent an e-mail saying they had put the payment £120 back in my bank A LIE they also denied taking 2 extra payments .Finally Aug 26th after 2 months the 3 payments have gone back in my bank but only after getting NAT WEST bank involved .DO NOT TRUST THIS OUTFIT THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIARS
Ordered in July and still no word from them. Tried to cancel but have had no confirmation whether they are going to or not. My account continues to say processing. They gave some indication that there had been a problem with data loss early August but now this message has gone.
I must mimic the notes of all the previous reviewers on here - the money was taken from my account and two weeks later no item has been delivered. I must say I wish I had checked for reviews such as these before confirming the order.
Complete cowboys who have simply taken the money with no apparent intention to deliver.
Order from a reputable retailer.

I ordered a hard drive from edock.tv... 3 weeks and 5 emails later, still no delivery and no responses. The same as everyone else! I'll try to get my money back through my bank as others are trying to do. Do not oder anything from these people!!
Stay away from this company - they are fraudsters. I have notified the police and cancelled my bank card.
They are a very dodgy outfit. I payed though Google Checkout and a week later have nothing despite a supposed 24-48 hour delivery of the item. The customer services line is dead, the order line rings out after a few minutes. I have tried to get a response on the order line number with over 30 attempts but nobody ever answers.
The supposed head office is just a house on a street, I doubt the warehouses actually exist. As I paid through Google Checkout I am hoping there is some degree of protection. I have sent a number of emails to the customer services email address with no response whatsoever. I am awaiting Google's mediation team response to see whether I get my refund or not.
Also, they appear to be using the PC Pro Awards 2010 logo when they were not winners and weren't even on the finalists list.
As everybody here has said - please avoid, it is worth paying the extra and going to a reputable retailer - even if you are supposedly protected by Paypal or Google Checkout.
I ordered an item, got no confirmation, no response from the 'quick response' email function, one phone number dead, the other not answering (after a lot of tries)...
The good news - I informed my bank (The Cooperative :) and got my money back within 3 days...
Stay away - their nearest competitor is £6 more expensive with great customer ratings.
I have learnt my lesson: Check ratings/reviews first!
Ordered from them, they took payment and didn't send anything.
Didn't answer any phones calls and no response to emails sent.
Had to get credit card company to refund me.
Company web address registered to Sean Wingad, address :2 Higher House Close, Blackburn, BB2 4RN, tel: 07707 945351
AVOID!
Took my money and sent nothing. Dont respond to emails, phone number is fake and is not registered.
My order has been on "hold" for 3 weeks now, despite their site saying it would take 5 days max to arrive.
Had to get in contact with my bank and trying to get my money back..
DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
Ordered Flash £294 on 1st of July 2011. After one week i'd still not received this product. I tried calling and got no answer, tried emailing no answer until eventually i got a reply saying the product was never in stock and they had refunded me on the 4th. Its now the 11th and no refund in the bank and still no product. Again spent the day calling with no answer. Their phone goes straight to answer phone every time.
I've had to go through Visa this morning so they can dispute the none receipt of goods. VERY UPSET. I work as a photographer for magazines and newspapers in the north, so i will share this story with colleagues and have them print something to reflect this experience.
Please do not use this company.
Ordered a kodac zi8 8 days ago, money taken on the same day, delivery was supposed to be 24-48 hrs. No camera, no response to emails, 2 phone lines 1 dead, one no answer (and I have tried and tried!)
Will prob now have to go to credit card company to get refund.
I'm disgusted by them, avoid!!
ordered a double din car cd player a couple of days ago, havnt recieved confirmation of order by email, but have recieved account infortmation, which contains the order status... have emailed them as no money has been removed from my account so not sure if order has actually gone through?? tried ringing several times, to either an answer machine or a dead line, just going to have to keep tabs on online bank account, and the post!
I had ordered a graphic card from them but did not recieve any confirmation email(s) whatsoever, this bothered me slightly, however the day after next my order arrived well packaged and in good condition, the quickness surprised me as the delivery was free, thanks to edock. It would be good to have order process confirmation via email though.
