First they charge your PayPal or CC.
THen they send you email that for security reasons the PayPal/CC did not go thru, (it did in fact) and they inform you that to secure the e-tickets you have to make a direct bank transfer to their account.
When called they lie:
The airline is holding back your tickets.
The payment did not go thru.
The refund department is closed, you would receive refund tomorrow.
AVOID THESE SCAMMER AND FRAUDSTERS. WASTE OF YOUR TIME, AND POTENTIALLY OF YOUR MONEY AS WELL!
Their web site adds hard to detect errors in your reservation--once you've booked you're stuck, and they won't help claiming that they are just a broker. You will also notice a variety of fees which end up costing you more than the bargain you were hoping to get, so it is a classic bait and switch.
Wrote to edreams explicitly about my issues and demanded a refund, but received a canned reply which makes clear they couldn't care less to have repeat customers. I believe a class action law suit is the only way to get their attention.
Caveat emptor: don't go near.
Before you book any flights or hotels make sure you are with Agoda, they were honest and reliable and any cancellations were simple and honoured. Like the saying goes, when you find someone good, stick with them always.
eDreams on the other hand were incompetent (that could be endured a bit) but then blatantle corrupt & that I won't tolerate.
Maybe our web security can be more conscious of internety scamming companies like this disgraceful organization.
I have beeen waiting on a refund from a cancellation I made last year, though their website, then again by phone because they "couldn't read" their own email service.
Even after I sent them copies of their reply emails and my phone records they haven't paid. Liars and failures. Haven't thery heard of karma? Giving zero stars for eDreams should be an option.
Anyway Agoda on the other hand were a shining light and had repaid a cancellation into my accoount within a fortnight. Gotta love good people :)
They use clear deferral tactics with a no reply system in place when it comes to modifications or cancellations. I have been waiting for two weeks to get a cancellation responded to that I sent to their official email at modification.cancellation@edreams.com, instead I keep getting emails stating I am sending to the wrong address while I am sending exactly to that address. Every time I point that out I get another email from them stating exactly the same thing again - that I need to send it to the cancellation address?!
So infuriating! They have no idea what they are doing and rip you off on purpose. Stay AWAY!
They have ripped me off like everyone else commenting. I have reported them to BBC Watchdog and as many Internet sites as possible.
Please you can do more. I too have been scammed. Write emails to flight search engines like Skyscanner.net asking them to stop showing results from eDreams. They are scammers.
I recently booked flights to Barcelona with Edreams because they came out the cheapest only to discover they bill separately for their service on top of the flights!!
This works out way more than you think in fact I am paying more!!1
I will never be using E-dreams again and would strongly advise against using them TOTAL RIP-OFF!!

I am presently trying to get an issue solved with Edreams as the airline changed one of our connecting flight scedules which makes it impossible to connect at all. About six weeks ago after recieving automatically generated notification of the change I emailed Edreams about it. After a long wait and two more written attempts with no reply, I rang. They promised to find alternatives and get back by email in 2 or 3 days....6 days later and three more phone calls one after the other, ( thankfully using cheap skype as we are in Asia) left us still with no results and the excuse that they are waiting to hear back from airline about options. Told to wait another day or two. Rang again tonight, they tried again to directly ring airline while I waited, no success..... Meanwhile we now less than three weeks till flights out, alternative prices are going up and up. About ready to call it quits, cancel and find alternatives, but still hedging due to losses and 4 to 6 week wait they mention to get money put back onto credit card...... Won't be quick to use these guys again even if it does work out, and will tell friends to avoid them. The phone service personnel have generally been ok apart from one semi rude one, but the overall service is terrible. I did ask to speak to a manager, but not possible they said. Wish I had thought to check these reviews before making the mistake of booking with Edreams!!!!

A few years ago I used eDreams to find some cheap airplane tickets and everything was working fine. However the past year both times I booked a ticket with them I encountered issues. First they could not process my credit card, the second time the website broke down. After hours of struggle I decided to cancel my booking... so I called their office in Barcelona for some help, but the lady picking up the line was really rude to me and it took several phone calls (another few hours) to get it cancelled. I am really disappointed in this website, before it was much better... :(

Edreams should be renamed Enightmares. I visited the Edreams website and found a flight London/Shenyang/London that suited my pocket and my timing. But I needed the return flight to have changeable dates.
Edreams told me via their chargeable helpline that I could see this information on screen just prior to payment. The information was not visible until after payment and I then found out the return flight dates could NOT be changed.
The transaction was immediate voided minus a "service fee" of £31.42p. I made a claim for return of the service fee because no service was received and the transaction was based upon misinformation. The company refused point blank to make any refund of the service fee even though I proposed a goodwill 50/50 split.

After ordering tickets I got the message that I had to send copy of both side of credit card and passports to confirm, as they were not able to reach my credit card.
I got suspicious and called the bank, who told me that edreams allready had reserved the money. I had to close my credit card to awoid getting robbed by edreams!

Friend tried to suck me into this one. Sorry to sound like a traitor to a friend, but it just seems a lot like a pyramid scheme.

After the Spainair company crash I lost a connecting flight from Barcelona to Alicante. A few days after the crash announcement I received a general mail explaining that one of the booked (and paid for !!!) flights was canceled and that I should contact the company. They did not say which company !!
Since 28. January 2012 I have sent 6 different mails to customerservice@edreams.com, reclamaciones.spanair@edreams.com and modification.cancellation@edreams.com and I have received NO REPLIES AT ALL !!
As a result I have been forced to make other arrangements as replacement for the lost flight and to pay for it, where in fact it should have been the work and service done by eDreams, who was quick enough to charge me for the flight when I booked….
eDreams is by far the worst company I have ever had the doubtful pleasure of dealing with. They charge your credit card right after your booking even though there are 3 months or more till the first flight, they do not reimburse the price for canceled flights and they never replies to any mails.
I have bought my last flight through this company and I recommend everyone else to consider using another flight provider.
