I ordered a couple of masterseal IP66 sockets one of which arrived quickly the other was delayed by MK not having any available which I was surprised at but reassured when I called elecnation that it would be in the post within the week which it was. I would definitely use them again as cheaper than several local wholesalers

I will never use elecnation again. Firstly, the lightbulbs that I ordered came completely smashed so I could not use them. I then tried to get in touch with someone but to no avail. Completely poor customer service, and fault products.
They got there in the end, but not clear if they are charging me or not for the privilege...
Ordered two (BY201F & BY202F) Byron wireless door bell and they arrived soon and they were as described.
Easy to add the other to be able to use as one.
Interestingly a set of two was costing more. So this wasn't just cheaper but came with extra push bell :)
I ordered the red chandelier and was over the moon both with the light and the service I revived.
Great communication, great product, speedy delivery and superb value for money.
All in all a great company to shop with, highly recommended.
Place a large order which unfortunately our customers changed their minds about the fittings and we had to send the good back( which was done the day after we received the goods and sent back in perfect condition) it took 5 weeks and numerous call to get our refund

ordered a strip light bulb. received a prompt email detailing the date it would arrive.
date came and went. spent the day at home waiting for it...nothing.
two days later, the bulb arrived. there was no protective packaging and the delivery man handed me the bulb with the unbroken end up. after signing for it, he left quick smart.
I phoned elecnation immediately and they apologised and explained that their supplier was ti nlame and I would have a replacement asap.
I received an email to this effect. explaining when I could expect the replacement.
obviously the delivery date came and went. still no bulb. I emailed the company this time to explain that yet again I have noy received it. again I received an apology. . . and another delivery date.
yet another week later I am still waiting...
Really poor service - delivery took days and days for "in stock items" however they were polite at the office, will not be using them again
Had a good experience with plumbnation and expected the same service here. Placed an order and received confirmations emails back but 2 emails requesting information over 2 weeks went unanswered and did not receive package.
Had to complain to paypal to get my refund in the end. Will not shop from here anymore
Nice, stylish bathroom light. Although shaver point is a bit tricky to insert plug into but resolved by leaving toothbrush charger in constantly and light string needs to be pulled a different angles in order to get light to work but is just a case of getting used to it. Light is much brighter than my previous bathroom light and made of better materials.
Ordered a simple order of 5 mcb's. Order was delayed and I had to chase. When I received order, one of the mcb's was wrong. Have contacted them about this and after 3 weeks still no response. Very poor retailer.
I chose a very nice ladder style heated towel rail - just the right size for my small bathroom. When it arrived, it was just a bog-standard three bar towel rail. When I then rang ElecNation, they confirmed that the wrong picture was on their website - it was rapidly changed within an hour. I then spoke to a guy named Carl ( a Manager?) who said he would source the style of towel rail that I wanted and I got the impression that it would be at a good price - was he concerned that I would go to Trading Standards with a case of misrepresentation? A few days passed - he never rang me and the next time I called him he said it would be a good idea if the Towel rail was collected, a refund raised and that he would continue to source a suitable towel rail. Ten days has passed since the towel rail was picked up, I have no sign of a refund and on speaking again to Carl, it seems he has given up!

The order was for some spare bulbs for a bell push. The product supplied was a manufacturer's original replacement, and the price charged was competitive with other suppliers. However, the delivery in 3-5 days slipped somewhat. I received notification of a despatch date which was at the longest applicable under their terms. I rang some 5 days later to let them know the consignment had not been delivered.
I accept that they had a supply problem (not stated at the time of ordering), but surely some communication notifying the late despatch would have been helpful.
Ordered and paid for a door bell. Not in stock even though it was offered on the website. Full refund given but very disappointed.
Just checked - website has been updated to say not in stock, expected July 2013 so I have added a star!!
My order was a small one, only five low energy bulbs, but I needed them for a specific day. The initial delivery date was fine, but then an email came saying that their supply of these bulbs was delayed and they wouldn't now be delivered until after my deadline. On contacting ElecNation the gentleman I spoke to pulled out all the stops and my order was delivered on time.
Looking for some Click modular switches, I found ElecNation was the best value. Swift delivery too.
When comparing prices, I hate websites that make you fill in a complete order (name and address etc) or even worse, have to register, before they'll tell you the full cost (ie inc VAT & delivery). Not so here! Nice, easy website that showed me the total price.
Friendly, professional help, phoned back at time stated after Bank Holiday with stock availability, items received promptly, in excellent condition.
What more could be asked for?
I found the light we wanted but decided to shop around to get the best price. I haven't used elecnation before and wondered if there was a catch because of the savings (£40) on other sites for the same light. I was not disappointed. We experienced a fast and efficient service and now I know about the site I would check out prices there first.
Placing my order was very easy, however actually obtaining the lightshade was not so simple. I paid using PayPal so my delivery details were pre-populated, and a delivery date was given. As this didn't suit, I emailed to ask for this to be changed. The response I got was great and very quick and it was no problem to change the delivery day, however, after waiting in all day on the agreed date, and no parcel arriving, I contacted the customer service person again, who was quick to reply but wasn't sure what had gone wrong. Anyway more days passed with still no delivery until I asked for the address to be re-confirmed. The courier had read the postcode incorrectly and had been unable to find us! Instead of going back to ElecNation to check they just waited for us to chase up. We eventually did receive the lightshade, and ElecNation kindly offered to refund of the postage costs. With regards to the lightshade, we are really pleased with it, and it was well packaged and exactly as shown on the website. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to order from ElecNation again as the customer service was very good and the product is very good quality.
Buying process started efficiently but then stopped getting updates as to when to expect my delivery. Rang them to chase & was quietly reassured that the product should be in stock very soon & that I would receive further email updates immediately to confirm. Another week later & still no word from elecnation. Kinda loathed to have to ring again (yet another 084 number so it costs a fortune from your mobile). If I don't hear from them very soon I will be cancelling my order & having a word with my credit card company. If it's a supply issue then I would not mind as long as I am kept up to date on a regular basis without having to chase.
My order delivery date was changed which was a little annoying as I had made plans to be in and I was notified with very short notice.
When the product arrived you could see it had had a tough time in transit- the seller had bubble wrapped the outside of the box but I don't think this achieved much as the box was still battered and the product inside was slightly damaged. As it was a ceiling light and the damage could not be noticied easily we decided not to ask for a replacement.
