ordered a few service items for my car, cabin/fuel/oil/air filters and oil, All parts was ordered via the recommended by Eurocarparts list for my make/model/year
the parts did arrive...and the puzzle begins...
A few weeks later I had the car serviced, the air filter did not fit, about 5mm to wide, so old one went back in. Cabin filter did not fit, I was sent a cabin filter for a older model of same car, I found out this via the OEM number on the box later, fuel filter was not due for replacement
At this point I contacted Eurocarparts and after a few emails, they agreed to refund the cabin filter. All things well I thought, but no....checked the fuel filters via OEM code on box...wrong parts again!! contacted Eurocarparts again to inform them to refund the fuel filters, which they eventually agreed to do, but as payment via paypal has not showed up I have contacted them again and again. They keep refering to the cabin filter and that payment already has been sent, I write that thats over and done with, now its the fuel filters, It really doesn't seem to sink into the membrane at the customer department...dont know how many emails I've written, but more than 2....I do know that their ordering system is random at best, 3 out of 4 filters was not usable at all...how about that?? New World record??
what a messy company, simply the worst I've ever come across
if you are planning to buy here, beware, this company don't know what they are doing...if you want random car parts, go ahead, shop untill you drop, if you want parts for your car try something else.
They claimed they sent the parts. Then 10 days later I tried to find out where they were. They said the parts had been sent to the couriers depot but they hadn't attempted delivery and they were waiting for them to be returned. They wouldn't refund me until the parts were back with them. Even though that was between them and their crummy courier. As a result I had to postpone my MOT and wait almost another week.
Don't bother calling customer service either, chimp and peanuts spring to mind...
I've used Euro Car Parts for a number of years and as well as the great quality of parts, the fact delivery is free and quick is a real bonus. I did have a problem with a recent order though. the order was submitted in two parts but only one arrived. I tried to contact the couriers direct as the system stated the parts had left Euro Car Parts the previous day and were now in the warehouse of a third party delivery agent. I tried to contact the agent and all I got was a recorded message which said "Thank you for calling, please hang up" !!!!!!!!!!! so, I contacted Euro CP direct via the web chat service. I was connected to Barry within a minute and he resolved the problem within 10 minutes. No hassle. The parts were delivered almost immediately. I then joked that if Barry was such a magician then he should try finding some parts for my classic Kawasaki Motorcycle. He tried and found !!!! I kid you not !!!! Top service, Top bloke. 10 out of 10 in my book :-)
