Ordered some sunglasses which were vastly cheaper than anywhere else online. Received plenty of email updates on my order so wasn't left wondering what was happening. Very pleased with purchase and service.
I purchased a voucher from KGB Deals paying around £12 for a voucher worth £60. This seemed a great deal especially when looking at the prices on the website. I purchased some Valentino glasses and was impressed that I only had to pay £70ish for glasses worth £200. Unfortunately despite being in the Mens section they arrived and with a girly pinky/purple trim. When I looked more carefully the description stated they were more suited for women (so why put them in the Men's section). Anyway Eye-sale did exchange them which I appreciate they are legally not obliged to do. The Customer Service was very good and speed to contact was excellent. However it was still frustrating to have to pay £20 for another pair of glasses in exchange (to delivery and half price lenses).
The item i had bought didnt suit my face shape, i told the customer service team and they said to return the item and they contacted me once they recieved the item and asked me which item I'd like to exchange it for. They were very friendly and i will be buying from them again
I began using this company several months ago and to start with I was very impressed and satisfied. Any problems were handled with care and everything was fine. I don't know what's happened, but in the last two months the service has been anything but good! I ordered three pairs of glasses in early June and then waited a month to get them. The first excuse for the delay was that my prescription was too complicated - completely refuted by an independent optician! - and would take more time to process whereas previous orders had been sent quickly, and in 20 years I've never been told such a thing. The second excuse was a long quality check to ensure everything was correct, which it obviously wasn't.
I finally received the two pairs with the lens prescription reversed - I could only see if I wore the glasses upside down! I emailed them and was told to return them, which I did, and they said nothing was wrong with the glasses, even though I had checked the prescription and seen they were incorrect. One of the pairs also had a twisted frame - something they said had happened in the post. Given that the glasses were in a hard case I fail to see how that could happen. They then returned the two pairs to me. One pair had the lenses on the correct side but one was chipped so I can't wear them and the second is still wrong and both 'arms' are scratched. Both pairs are covered in fingerprints. The same independent optician has confirmed that the lenses are reversed and she was shocked that any company who wishes to maintain its reputation should send out glasses in such a state. I am now at my wits end as I am the owner of two useless pairs of glasses from a company which appears to be going rapidly downhill. I am more than disappointed by this experience and if you want to save yourself time, money and stress I must, with regret I have to say as their selection of frames is excellent, advise you to go elsewhere.

I find it upsetting that you say I do nothing but complain as the first contact was because the glasses were nothing like the photo and had a scratch on them, next because you sent glasses with plain lenses, no prescription at all, then I received a completely different frame and you admitted the photo didn't correspond, then there was an issue with your provision of stock and now there's the problem of reversed lenses. I do not complain for the pleasure, believe me! If i sent 42 emails it is because there were many problems to be solved. The exchange of correspondence also included updates on tracking orders etc. You also have to admit that I said it was a pleasure dealing with you as you had caring customer service up to now. I still have 2 pairs of glasses that I can't wear because of reversed lenses and I don't want my money back, just for you to put the lenses on the correct side with no extra cost to me as it's not my fault. I have never threatened you. I simply said I didn't want to leave negative feedback in spite of everything as customer service used to be so good, but I felt I had no choice as I was getting nowhere. Please will you agree to fix these unusable glasses?
I was trying to buy 2 pairs of glasses, one for my wife and one for myself. Absolutely no issues buying a pair for my wife but I completed the on-line "Contact us" form requesting some assistance and still haven't received a response!
Well impressed with eye-sale - ordered on line which was easy to use even though i had a little problem with my wowcher code (nothing to do with eye-sale) but after copying and pasting the code no problem.
Lots of different designer choices at really great prices.
I got Vogue sun glasses and they were delivered to my home within 5 days no problems whatsoever.
I am so glad they are excellent quality and i cant wait to wear them on my forthcoming holiday next week. I will be like Jacki Onassis ha ha
Initially i found the site would not except my daughters card,, through no fault of theirs. When i phoned i spoke to a male, who was extremely helpful. I received my glasses within 2 days and i love them .
Can't really fault any part of it. Must admit didn't have high expectations as hadn't gone through trying on numerous pairs to pick a pair and hadn't had measurements done like in opticians. With the wowcher deal I used - what a bargain!!!!! Very good customer service and communication too.
Eye sale kept me informed at all times, and sorted any problems out, this is the first time that i have bought online and have been really pleased only downside that i can think of is that one of the nose clips need slight adjustment this is usually something that is done at the opticians and is always face to face so unfortunately eye sale can not sort that. This is only down to the fact that its an online service
I could take a photo and send them back and I am sure that eye sale would sort it out but for such a small adjustment its better for me to sort it locally
I love this website, I've bought 3 pairs of glasses from them and with every pair, the service was exceptional. When I purchased some sunglasses, I had made a mistake with the order and someone contacted me immediately to clarify the issue.
The only problem that I have is that you can't try any prescription glasses before purchase and they cannot be returned. Also, one pair of glasses I bought are too loose and need adjusting slightly. The fitting service is quite important to me so I do find this a little frustrating.
I got a groupon voucher for the website (a £59 voucher for £12.99) so my glasses were great value! Lovely glasses; came with a matching case and cloth. Delivery took about 2 weeks though, which was a pain as I needed them immediately. I was kept updated on the delivery stage via email though. Would use the website again :)
The lenses and frames are really top quality and I was really impressed by the customer care provided by the company.
I had broken both pairs of my High Street glasses, when I received an email voucher from eye-sale. This gave a very competitive price. I had some reservations about buying glasses online, but the keen price swung my decision. It was easy to enter my prescription details, and the eye-sale webcam PD tool is very slick! .Eye-sale provided detailed email updates during the entire order / delivery period. The glasses arrived in a timely fashion, exactly to my prescription. I would strongly recommend eye-sale!
I decided to try buying glasses online for the first time. The website was quick, informative and easy to use. I chose my glasses, entered the prescription and pressed the button. My glasses turned up in record time, packed well and I have to say that I am really pleased with them. I would certainly buy again
I was kept well informed and the site seemed easy enough to use.
However, the lenses seem to have different focal lengths and the right eye lens seems too strong compared to the original. Not good. Perhaps I sent the wrong prescription down the line, but I don't think so. Pity.
service and delivery were excellent. I had damaged my previous frame and was delighted to find a sale on the website. Unfortunately, I found it was impossible to remove lens securing screws on the frame. They were unbelievably tight. I had no option but to fall on the mercy of my optician for assistance.

Had an amazing experience with this company who bent over backwards to accommodate my request. Glasses arrived super-fast, in great condition and my contact with them was incredibly helpful.
I recently bought 2 items from here, one was a pair of glasses and these arrived in the specified time slot and were perfect, however, I also purchased a pair of sunglasses at the same time, I had one email explaining that there was a delay but no time frame on when these would be dispatched and then heard nothing from the customer services team, 2 months later I chased up and when these arrived, my prescription wasn't in them, I emailed and had to send these back at my own cost, they finally fitted the correct prescription but these were now sprained, I have sorted this myself otherwise I probably wouldn't have had any sunglasses for the summer, if the mistake with the prescription they have given me a voucher code for £50 off.
In my opinion they need to communicate with the customer more when there is a delay.
I was a little apprehensive about buying a pair of glasses on-line, but it was so easy, I chose the frames I liked, put my prescription details in and my PD. I received regular updates via emails from eye-sale to let me know the progress of my glasses and when I received them I was really impressed. They fit perfectly and the best thing of all was the low price. I would definitely use eye sale again.
Really excited to see this voucher come up. Needed prescription sunglasses as was perching sunglasses over reading glasses,, looking forward to using them on holiday. Trendy style and great value.
I ordered sunglasses a few weeks before I went on holiday. They didn't arrive before I went. I emailed them & they said they had been dispatched, but I did not receive.
I emailed them after back from holiday as still no sign of them. I was offered a replacement pair, but I refused as I only wanted them for holiday. They told me they would refund me, but all I received was the cost of the frames. So I lost out on the rest of the money I had to pay for the tinted sunglass lenses. I emailed asking about it and received no more emails back.
Bad company!! Bad service!! Left me without sunglasses and without half my money I paid :(
