I had two new front tyres fitted (Avon) and the centre and rear exhaust system replaced at the Kingston branch.
FastFit supply a nice waiting area so if you have to wait there are refreshments and free wifi access so you work if you feel inclined!
I have visited FastFit before because I like the location and the facilities and the online booking experience is very good.
Normally in my experience a visit will always require a revisit for the work to be rectified. On my last visit the fitter asked me to return the car anyway for a re-adjustment of the tracking (this has been something of a problem on my vehicle for Fastfit)
After my last visit the wheels were not balanced properly causing feedback through the pedals and steering wheel between 50 and 70 MPH, the replacement exhaust vibrated quite badly and knocked the chassis of the car .
I am not a fussy customer and I do not have a nice shiny car to worry about but I just could'nt live with the problems. Anyway .......
This was all rectified on the return visit but I would prefer that the work was completed properly on the first visit. For me going back is not a massive problem as I work very close to the Kingston branch.
The front counter staff are very nice and always friendly.
Excellent on line booking service. Followed up by ohone call to advise revised delivery and then flexibly worked around my availability to accommodate fit.
on the day equipment failure was also worked around so overall a great exerience and an ok price.
I booked my MOT online on the FastFit website for 12:45 PM on Saturday the 15th Jun 2013 at the Bletchley garage.
However, I received a phone call from them saying that the website should not have let me book it for this time as they have their lunch break from 12 - 1 pm!
As a consequence, I had to make a quick booking at another garage with very short notice. As you can imagine, most were fully booked for today and the only one I found to do it on that day cost £45! (As opposed to FastFit's meer £27.42 :-(
Poor website design/implementation and unwillingness to make another customer/sale!

i took my car in at ten in the morning for a service when i asked how long it would be i was more or less told how long is a piece of string. we will need it all day . so if booking your car in dont plan to do anything else that day.which kind of makes you wonder why even give people a slot unless they only have one slot a day and it takes them all day to do a service.
Although a good price and friendly and efficient service, the rear of the engine under tray fell down the next day requiring me to put the car up on wheel ramps and replace a missing nut and washer at 21:30 that evening. Obviously some one had replaced the nut but forgotten to tighten it necessitating my late night rectification measures. These things happen but I wasn't too amused at the time.
Fastfit lived up to their name - they were fast and fixed my punctured tyre. Not only saving me time but also money!
Lovely atmosphere and really competitive prices. I will be going there again!
Went in needing a new tyre, staff were helpful, assisted me choosing the right tyre and had it all fitted in less than 30 minutes. A great little local place that has never let me down.
Booking in an MOT on line was easy as 1,2,3, with only a couple of days notice.
The checking-in was efficient and friendly. The half price deal on MOT's was especially welcome and the final bill was just as welcome as nothing was required on my 12 year old Golf.
The examination and MOT certificate was all executed within one hour and I was very happy with the entire service received from FastFit.
Will definitely return, especially as I have also now received a discount voucher for the next visit.
The service on the day was excellent. We were pre-booked so they took the keys and gave us a clear time to pick up the car (it was actually finished early). I had a call after some time to let me know that the tracking was slightly out (as I asked them to check) and agreed for this to be corrected as well.
The only thing preventing a 5 star review is that the wheel balancing was done incorrectly and I had to return with the car to get the wheels re-balanced (they confirmed they were out of balance). There was no issue at the station however and they did this without any question.
Fast Fit staff were friendly, they dealt with my car quickly and efficiently. The service was value for money and completed quickly without any fuss. The waiting room is pleasant, withthe free coffee a bonus.
Took over an hour to fit 4 tyres and straighten one wheel.
Not bad, except the last people I went to fitted and balanced four tyres in 30mins flat......
Given that Fastfit straightened a wheel out for me and fitted one fo the new tyres to it then maybe the extra time is justified - EXCEPT I DIDNT TELL THEM TO DO THE WHEEL AS IT WAS A DAMAGED AND PROBABLY CRACKED ALLOY - SO THEY TOOK OFF MY SAFE, SOUND STEEL WHEEL AND FITTED A NEW TYRE TO A CONDEMNED, DANGEROUS AND LIKELY TO FALL APART AT ANY MOMENT WHEEL :( NEVER AGAIN !!
...and just to make it even better, they quoted me a job time of TWO HOURS to fit a new catalytic converter to a Pug 306.... Quickfit in Bletchley did the same job for THIRTY POUNDS LESS and in 40 minutes.
It is a shame as I have used FastFit on numerous occasions and always been really happy. This time has not gone so well.
I went in asking specifically for Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance. I was told it would be a day or so to order them. No problem. Next day they were ordered (got a call) then got a call to say they could be done that say at £129.99 each. Great.
My wife took the car in and when she got back I saw to they were the normal efficient grip not the performance ones. I checked the site and noticed they were £111.99 on the site (£112.99 on Friday). I complained and got a call as soon as the were open to say it was they mistake and they would swap them. To be fair the lady was great. I then got a call offering me the difference back if I kept the tyres that were on, saying they were the better tyre. He said he could not find the performance ones online......I have had no issues!
Two days later they were swapped. I am not getting a refund of the difference although they said they will come back to me.....I doubt that. When getting in the car after the steering wheel and gear stick. Was filthy as the mechanic had not taken his gloves off. I have just washed the car to find two of the plastic nut caps missing and a circular scuff around the front wheel.
I will be going back in but as of now certainly a one star!
I have previously been a customer of Kwik Fit, not because of the great service, just more for convenience, however, I shan't be going back. As a woman I find garages very intimidating, however, not here. I booked online for a MOT at the Bletchley branch. It was extremely efficient, the waiting area was not like a garage at all, fresh coffee, tea, water, biscuits and very clean! A lovely young girl asking if there was anything she could get us while we were waiting. Once my car was ready, a really jolly and friendly service from the gentleman at the desk. It was my first experience and I shall definitely be returning. Oh, and much cheaper than Kwik Fit!
Booked an oil change via their online site, put in my reg and the system found my car and quoted me £25.00. I booked the oil service and took my car into the fastfit garage. 15 mins later got told that oil change would now be £55.00 due to special oil being needed " Fully Synthetic ". He then dropped to £50.00 and as I needed the car doing before I went to work I agreed.
I only went to fastfit because of their HALF PRICE SALE, as my usual garage charges £45.00 for an oil change and I needed to save some money.
Total rip off, I will never use Fastfit again.
I was very happy with the garage I used to go to until I used Fastfit. I needed a tyre so for speed I booked it in with Fastfit at Kingston Milton Keynes. Because of the excellent staff I then decided to booked my car in for a service. Again they showed such great customer service that I decided to get the rest of the work I needed doing done at Fastfit. This is now the only garage I will be using. Most impressed with the service I received from fastfit last week. They communicated each stage of the process to me, showed me to a room with fresh coffee and biscuits to wait and gave me a discount on the work they'd done. Fabulous!!
I was welcomed and quickly told how long my car would be needed for, asked if I was stopping or going for a walk. On my return the car was ready, the bill settled - all in a friendly, chatty way. The premises were fabulously clean and with that 1950's quirky look I thought it was fabulous
Booked my car in for an MOT which was completed 45 minutes after the appointment time. The car failed due to damage to a front tyre, the manager said he could change the tyre, do the tracking and get it back on the system for a re-test. 50 minutes later the car passed its MOT!
I cannot fault Fastfit and will be back next year.
I have used Fastfit - Old Wolverton on many occasions mainly for tyres but more recently an MOT and full service and each time their customer service skills match their mechanical skills. Prices are reasonable and I even got use of the courtesy car which was a real winner as I would have really struggled without a car. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone.
Great service, added benefit of good waiting area where I could work whilst car being done. Free hot drinks, coffee and tea. Good rates very competitive.

It was my wife who took our car in for a 'MAJOR SERVICE' as I was away for the week. Half way through the day she received a phone call from Fast fit to in form her that a Tyre needed changing as it was worn and the Air conditioning required re-gassing; both of these recommendations were rubbish. The tyres had been swapped over from winter tyres just 3 weeks prior and they were all fine and the air con was also in perfect working order. Had I have been there, then I would have known this and would have rejected the recommendations, this seems to me a case of opportunistic upselling, which I consider unprofessional and immoral. The total bill came to $390, from an original price of £99.99(half price promotion), made so by the two extra items mentioned and two filters 'not' included in the price, which for a major service I'd think that they would be.
