I ordered 2 fitted units for bathroom which included basin and toilet. Bath screen & taps for basin and bath.
Took delivery of units, basin, taps and toilet (plastic cistern was smashed although packaging was undamaged). Bath screen was out of stock but they didn't let me know till I rang them about the broken cistern. 1 week later I got replacement cistern which had different flush fittings than the first and was also chipped on the edge. I then received the bath screen which was fine. However when trying to fix the toilet to the floor we realised that they had sent the wrong fittings, they where for a completely different shaped toilet base so we had to think again!! The units were illustratred on the website as being fitted together but if this is done you can't open the lid for access to the cistern because the basin overlaps too much. After considering various options we' decided to unhinge the lid, leave it loose and fit the units together as we wanted. All this seriously delayed our bathroom renovations, which was annoying since we only have 1 bathroom and it had to remain functional at all times and also my husband had taken a weeks holiday from work to do it which would have been fine but for all the messing about caused by First Bathrooms. Having said that the taps and bathscreen caused no problems and work well. I wouldn't recommend using this company as it is obvious that they don't know if the fittings they send will actually work with the items ordered. Thanks to my husbands DIY skills, we now have a lovely finished bathroom but could have done without the delays and problems. Oh I forgot to mention the soft close toilet seat was way too small, didn't even cover the edges of the pan! its still in its box, we recycled out old one instead!

Excellent range of products, very customer-friendly and efficient customer service.
Prices very competitive, good quality and great delivery turnaround, certainly recommend for any future bathroom/toilet modifications or revamps that you are contemplating.
When the suite arrived and was installed i had a problem with the toilet cistern valve which was sticking and not operating properly. ( and still isn't ).
I e-mailed yourselves but still haven't had a reply . Very disappointed .
I'm re writing this review as the company had my other review removed for lack of proof of purchase, like my name and approx date of purchase is not enough. The amount is £353.57, purchased 1 March '13. ref:86858. So at the beginning of March I placed an order, when it had not arrived over a week later i called to see when delivery would be. I was told that they still had not received my items from their supplier. I cancelled the whole order as I had a builder on site and needed the items quickly to carry on the refurb and was told I'd be refunded. After sending loads of emails and making many calls I still had not been refunded. I've contacted Visa....
This is my third time using this site and have been most impressed by the quality of the products and the reliable customer service. I would highly recommend to friends and family!
Took some 4 weeks of conflicting information and waiting on phone due to high call volume for my order to be delivered-a full bathrooms suite also with a shower & cubicle. I had already booked a plumber and builder to fit and extend the room simultaneously. The order turned up just in time to avoid me cancelling the tradesmen. It seemed to be correct so my plumber ripped out the old bathroom completely and the builder set about rebuilding a wall to extend the room. We then realised that the bath legs were not in the packaging and a further call and holding for sometime verified that it had been missed off the order. Being able to fit the bath was crucial to enable the builder to build the new wall around it and thus enable the rest of the items to be plumbed in. I was told after another delay calling that it would be with me the next day. So me the tradesmen arranged out diaries accordingly. It did not trun up. I called and was promised a call back. I now have lost my plumber due to other commitments for a week or so and meanwhile have no hot water, no bathroom, wash facilities or wc for the duration. The company showed little concern for my situation and throughout I feel the customer service has been appalling. I will never have anything to do with this firm again.

Ive been looking for a specific size toilet for ages online for my small ensuite bathroom. I came across the first bathrooms site and it had the toilet with exactly the spec i needed. I placed the order online and received delivery 3 days later which i was impressed with. The product was packaged on a pallet well and according to the plumber was easy to install. All in all a very good online transaction.
We bought a towel radiator from B&Q , but took it back when we saw the difference in quality for not much more money. We bought at the right time!
The on-line system was easy to use.
The delivery suited us arriving early, so we didn't have to waste the whole day.
Ordered a complete set for my new ensuite. Paid for the speedy delivery and turned up when expected. Really pleased with quality, price and service. Il be coming back for the main bathroom next year!
First bathrooms took my order and charged for next day delivery. The following afternoon at 4:30pm I received a phone call to say that the item was not in stock but would go out the following day once they restocked. Two days later I had to call them only to be told that my item was, conveniently, damaged and would not be back in stock for over a week. II explained that I need it before then, which is why I paid for next day delivery, so would require a refund.
This was when I was informed that a refund would only be possible if I cancelled the order and not because they could not fulfill as promised and refunds take 30 days to process. I disputed this as they were quick enough to take my money when the item was not in stock which breaks the Distance Selling Regulations and was told that I had to wait for delivery or wait for my money for 30 days very abruptly by the supposed customer service operator.
£302 down I have ordered and received the item from elsewhere in time promised and without me having to chase them to find out where it is. Still I am waiting for my refund and have had no contact what so ever unless I call. I would recommend everyone avoid this company at all costs. They claim to have 120,000 satisfied customers but I can find no proof of this or indeed reviews that are not hand picked for their website.
The products are good and economical with prompt delivery.However the company is let down by poor telephone reception and do not respond to emails complaining of this situation. I was held in a queue for nine minutes after which a recorded message
said that I was moving up the queue.Several minutes later I was advised that I was first in the queue.Eventually a staff member pick up the phone a promptly replaced the
receiver!! I emailed the complaint to a Manager but to date have received no reply.
As a result of this I found another supplier and place a order for £800 with them.
Avoid this company at all costs! Absolutely awful customer service!
Ordered a shower screen and chose next day delivery, which costs extra obviously. To cut a long story short, after me chasing them for a couple of days, item arrived 2 days later than expected! No one tried to contact me to let me know or even apologise!
I then complained to the company after spending £9.99 for what turned out to be 4 day delivery, and they only replied after sending over 50 emails! They agreed to refund the postage, but this would take 30 days! How difficult is it to organise a refund?! 30 seconds?!
For a company that claims to be the 'internet bathroom store', I can't see them lasting very long. Horrible experience and for someone in the trade, will be avoiding them completely - happy to pay more somewhere else with better service.
i ordered a small towel radiator after researching on the internet. All the specification and info. were provided on the product description. The ordering was straight forward and the item was delivered as promised. No problem!
My real judge of a company is what happens and how that company reacts when the system or ordering goes wrong. In my case all i can say is firstbathrooms did what it said on the label ( or the web site); it is now on my favourite list for bathroom products.
Caution Read before you deal with this company ! First Bathrooms advertised on their web site A 300 mm square shower head which I purchased on 26 Th Jan 13 for £82.94 however they sent me one only 200 mm square. When I complained they told me the one I had ordered and paid for did not exist so I asked them to collect it and return my money. However despite numerous phone calls [ some lasting up to 12 Minuets at considerable cost to myself ] and many emails, at the time of writing [ 9.April 13 ] they have STILL not repaid my money or offered me any compensation for all my trouble and stress. I strongly advise you to look for another supplier !
the service is excelletn, I ordered for 5 day delivery and received 2 days later. The courier called on delivery as I was not expecting items so soon which enabled me to secure delivery asap.
The first time we knew that a bath was being delivered was when the wagon was just 30 minutes away. We had not even been informed that it had been dispatched. We had nobody home although we could have arranged to be in, had we known. We had a mad dash home, at great inconvenience, to take delivery. How can you send such a big item as a bath without arranging for people to be in. Then the bath was supplied by Q4 Bathrooms of York,not yourselves, a long way to deliver without prior notice.
We were looking for a short bath to fit a restricted space and also a suite that didnt cost the earth as it was for a rental property. Our plumber seemed happy with it and he couldnt find anywhere with a better offer. Delivery was on time and a very helpful driver. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Had a suite delivered to site. My builders signed for items but turns out the basin & toilet never arrived. When we went to install items we realised this but we were outside of their time within which we can report missing items. Nothing they can do. Said its been lost with courier or on site. Told me I could buy another toilet & basin at non profit price but full cost of delivery. I am very angry with this company is. Dont waste your money buying online if you can't sign for the delivery yourself. Now have to fork out for another basin & toilet. So much for a great deal. Will never use them again.
I ordered some products for a customers downstairs toilet, I used them because they had next day delivery as long as you ordered by 2 pm, I ordered at 1.20 pm paid the extra for next day delivery( which you have to pay even if you order over their delivery threshold limit) . I then waited for my order to arrive the next day!!!! No communication, I e mailed them to find out a delivery date, then at 4.30 the I had an email to say it would be delivered the next day. The goods finally arrived at 13.30 48 hrs after I ordered them and cost me £40 extra for next day delivery?!!!!

I found that online, Firstbathrooms offered products at the very best prices.
Furthermore, the communication and service to arrange delivery was straightforward and made the whole shopping experience hassle-free.
I would definite check out their products for future requirements.
Having looked at bathrooms in major stores, I ordered just what I wanted through First Bathrooms and saved myself money. The bathroom has just been installed and it looks great. and the quality is very good too.
Our bathroom was delivered quickly and we are very happy with it However the toilet seat fittings were missing. Although I have phoned and sent a number of email asking for the fittings these still have not been delivered. Would love these fittings to complete our bathroom.
