Our bathroom was delivered quickly and we are very happy with it However the toilet seat fittings were missing. Although I have phoned and sent a number of email asking for the fittings these still have not been delivered. Would love these fittings to complete our bathroom.
The Waterlux shower doors I purchased are of very good quality and reasonably priced. I had an issue when it came to fitting the second door + side panel in an ensuite as the panel was the wrong size (too small). The person I spoke to in Customer Service couldn't have been more helpful and organised the correct side panel to be delivered by TNT the next day.
Overall very pleased with initial advice given regarding which products I required and then with the subsequent resolution of the minor problem.
I found the whole process easy and trouble free and the delivery time was really good, on the whole a smooth transaction.
Good value for money. Looks lovely when installed. Only downside is that it was delivered a day later than I was informed but luckily as I am retired I didn't have to take a day off work for delivery!!

I recently bought a new bath and shower from First Bathrooms. I got these at a really good price and the quality is excellent. My plumber was gutted, as he'd bought similar items at twice the price elsewhere.
However, the delivery company did not give a time of delivery, just a day, and of course having waited in all day they didn't turn up until 4.30. Grrr.
we recieved the shower with no instructions. We emailed the company who said they would email the maufacturer and still no instructions. How can i put my shower up if i have no instructions
Well, I made a mistake here! I ordered a vitrA neon shaped bath & a turin toilet & basin for my new & small bathroom. I took ages looking for a nice compact suite. I was so happy to find what I wanted with Firstbathrooms on line, & I was very happy with the costs, & stated only 5 days delivery!!!
That's where my saga begins! I had to chase the delivery all the way, which took much longer than promised. No answers to my e-mail questions, very hard to get anyone to answer the phone at times, sometimes they did not return my calls as promised. Some of the sales team had no customer service skills what-so-ever! One guy just sounded 'bored'...
Then, whoo hoo! It arrives! Oh! They sent me the wrong toilet & basin, I noticed this first as the basin was BIG! Then I noticed some small 'yellow dots' (stains) on the bath, that I have tried to remove but unsuccessfully.
I rang the company immediately & spoke to a guy who told me they did not have the compact toilet/basin any longer so sent me the 'BIG' alternative from a different range! They could collect it the next day but I would have to wait 30 days (at least) for my refund.
The stains on the bath however, I would have to prove were there by photo & e-mails before the would agree a replacement!
I read this website AFTER I had placed my order (lesson learnt) & decided to keep the goods for fear of never ever getting my money back....
I would not recommend First Bathrooms to my worst enemy!!!!
I only ordered the front section of the shower cubicle to replace one that had a broken door, the existing end panel was still as good as new, I cant believe how easy it was to assemble and install, the quality was much better than the previous one and the door runners are so smooth you can open and close it with one little finger. The marriage to the existing end panel went perfectly and nobody can believe that it didn't all come as one unit.
There are far better bathroom companies around and I'd advise you to use them rather than this shoddy outfit. Firstbathrooms claim to offer free delivery to ALL orders over £250, as highlighted on their website. This tricked me into spending considerable time on their site ordering products. It is not until a much later stage that the 'rip off Scotland' element comes in and there is an extra delivery charge. By that time, I'd spent too much time on the site and needed products so I went ahead.
I then started looking to see if this was fair trading and, lo and behold, Trading Standards informed me that they considered this a misleading omission and therefore possibly CRIMINAL. I requested that the delivery charge was refunded but of course got nowhere so I cancelled the order and am now told that it will take up to 30 days to refund my money, over £600! I shall now leave it to Trading Standards to deal with. I took my business elsewhere, to Victoria Plumb who are streets ahead of Firstbathrooms.
We were looking for a small bath to fit in our house, after searching on the internet we found this fanastic deal, we ordered it and it was delivered quickly and we are really pleased with the suite and all the accessories. Great value for money
Ordered a shower screen came much sooner than I thought, wasnt in guy phoned me arranged to be in and he came when he said he would great price for for the screen and very good qaulity ..looked at b and q and was more than double the price I'm well pleased .:)
Quality of products are pretty good but communication with delivery and delivery itself was poor. Didn't get any communication as to date, time or even zone of delivery and got non-delivered once and then had to arrange my own delivery after I had to chase up!!!
I spent ages looking at bathroom suites online. Months in fact. And first bathrooms literally couldn't be beaten on price. It made me worry....why are their prices so much better? Needless to say I shouldn't have worried. The service was fantastic. Advisers were friendly and the product was delivered exactly when I asked. The bathroom suite looks great and has given my dated bathroom an overhaul. If I was to be really picky? Then the only thing at all I could say is that the toilet seat is a bit flimsy. But for the price and the quality of the rest I will gladly buy a toilet seat at some point down the line. No hurry though. As I said. The suite looks great. Very happy customer. Just noticed the bad reviews on here. There have obviously been a couple of bad experiences but I honestly wouldn't let that put you off. I didn't and my experience was perfect.
Spent over £2000 with First Bathrooms and from placing my order online to receiving I was informed of every step of the order process via email. Delivery was received within the 5 day quoted period and the products are of superior quality and half the price of my local shop!

Ordered Shower Tray, Shower Doors, Shower Side Panel, W.C. and Basin Taps on 10th January and was advised 5 days for delivery. Specific instructions were given concerning the shower tray as required Stonecast Shower Tray. When delivery eventually came a low loevel plastic tray arrived with a different shower side panel - l phoned and queried this to be told they hadnt got a stonecast one in so sent a different one. They then ordered me another one which arrived 7th Feb. - stonecast but still incorrect size. They arranged for a courier company to pick up the 2 Shower Trays on 8th Feb. and l asked the courier driver for the necessary paperwork to leave me for the collection - he advised that he only had his paperwork. The driver agreed to sign some paperwork for my proof of collection. I have emailed to find out whether they are in recieipt of the retuns on 18/02/13 after not being able to contact them by telephone only for no response whatsoever. Have now managed to contact them by telephone and they have agreed that they received them back on 11th Feb. but it can take 30 days for them to refund my money!!! WHAT A JOKE - IF YOU WANT A HASSLE FREE SERVICE DONT PURCHASE FROM FIRST BATHROOMS.
I was nervous of dealing with Firstbathrooms given quite a lot of mixed comment on the net. I checked with Firstbathrooms first, before placing my order direct over the phone. They assured me that the bath screen I wanted was in stock, at the price I'd seen it offered, and they were comfortable with my requirement that it was needed within 10 days.
Although they said they'd e-mail me to say when it would be delivered, they didn't, but the screen was delivered 4 days later by carrier. The product is as I expected, has been fitted and seems a good purchase.
Ordered a bathroom suite, which evenrtually turned up, only to discover that one of the items was cracked. C.S staff said that as we hadnt inspected and reported it within 7 days, they wouldnt replace it. I did try to explain that all the items were in storage until the builders required them, but they didnt want to listern.
I wouldnt ever use them again.
I bought a bath, a bath screen, a shower tray and a shower door from this company...
The bath was in stock but, suddenly disappeared so there was a long wait.
The shower tray came with a waste fitting that simply did not fit.
The bath screen took 5 weeks to arrive, kept gettng promised delivery which did not happen
The shower screen is advertised as fitting 860mm to 890mm but will not fit at all.... it is 890mm to 910mm and will not fit.
I contacted the company and they said I should contact the manufacturer... manufacturer refused to deal with me saying I should go to Firstbodgerooms ...
It seems that Firstbodgerooms have modified the unit supplied to them so that is will not adjust down to 860mm..... Still not sure what I can do, as Firstbodgerooms will not refund unless it is faulty and manufacturer says is is not faulty, just incorrectly modfied by Firstbodgerooms.
The phones take ages to be answered... up to 54 minutes.... I have spent around £10 on phone calls... plus my time and still got nowhere.
I would not suggest using this company ... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
