My fiance ordered a bouquet online for our dating anniversary which falls on 23 Nov. It was to be sent to my hall of residence on the day itself (23 Nov Sat). However, I did not receive anything by the next day (24 Nov Sunday) so I rang up flower station only to be told that the bouquet has already been delivered the day before. I checked with the reception of my hall and the reception guy told me that there was indeed a bouquet delivered but it was meant for another resident staying in the same hall as me. The reception guy who signed for the bouquet delivery then called flower station to sort out the situation. The person answering the phone at flower station end INSISTED that the bouquet was sent and addressed to me. In a way, she was saying the problem lay with the hall reception and not the delivery man or flower station. In any case, the lady said she did not have the full order list so she was not sure if there was a mix up in the orders and she asked me to call back on Monday when the office staff were in.
On Monday morning, I called flower station and the person who answered the phone confirmed that TWO orders were supposed to be sent to my hall of residence on 23 Nov. My order was LEFT OUT! She promised me that she would deliver my bouquet on the day itself.
When I did receive the flowers that day, I almost could not believe my eyes. The bouquet looked nowhere like the picture online. NOWHERE. (The only resemblance was probably the green leaves?) My fiance had also ordered a box of chocolates that was supposed to come with the flowers but no chocolates were in sight. I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the flowers. I mean, if you have messed up the order by not delivering on the specified date, please at least make sure that the order is complete and correct.
PLEASE DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM FLOWER STATION unless you want to go through the same experience as me. Even giving one star is overrating the co.
Great selection of flowers that last for much longer than others! Fresh flowers and great delivery service!
I have very good experiences with FlowerStation , awesome services and the bouques were stunning . Good job
I use Flower Station usually and asked them if they could organize a delivery to Poland to my girlfriend as she is away. I was really surprised when they did, I am not sure how but the flowers were beautiful, apparently.
Great location, 24/7 service, beautiful arrangements
I always order from them with different occasions and they never let me down, the quality of the flowers is the best which I could get, and the table arrangements are fabulous.
Also my wedding bouquet was from them and I haven't seen before such a technique, everyone compliment my bouquet all the time.
I definitely recommend them!
Thank you all at flower station you really got me out of jam when I missed a friends birthday. These guys delivered same day to my friend saving me any embarrassment!!
She was bowled over and when I saw the bouquet later that evening so was I, absolutely FAB!
Thanks you guys!!
Excellent service and beautifully unique design...five stars...
I ordered flowers for my niece's birthday on February 16 (Saturday night), since her birthday was February 17, I used Flower Station, which claimed to be the only vendor that provides same-day delivery in the UK on Sundays. I even paid an additional charge so that the flowers would be delivered as early as possible (so at the very worst the flowers would be delivered by February 19 in the morning).
The flowers did not arrive on February 17, nor on February 18, nor the 19th. Since I am in North America, I could not conveniently call the company over the phone, so on February 19 at night I sent the vendor an email alerting to the fact that the flowers were not delivered.
On February 24 (more than a week after the same-day delivery order!) I got a voice message from the customer service representative saying that their florist had called and said that the order would cost more than what I paid. The representative urged me to call back as soon as possible to complete the order. More than a week after the fact, there was no longer any point in sending flowers, so I again emailed Flower Station (to the same address that they sent the original order confirmation) and wrote that they should cancel the order. I specifically wrote "Apart from the fact that there is no longer any point in delivering the flowers, I am somewhat disappointed at the way this order was handled. Your misrepresentation of the service you would provide resulted in my niece not receiving my birthday wishes at a reasonable time."
Today, more than two week after the original "same-day-delivery" order, I got an email from Flower Station asking me, and I quote: "Could you please confirm the delivery date please so I can process your order". Not even a period at the end of the sentence, not to mention a greeting or a signature, and forget about making any sort of reference to my previous emails.
Had I bought the flowers from another company they might have only been delivered on Tuesday the 19th (Monday was a bank holiday), but they would have reached my niece while she was still celebrating her birthday.
Bottom line: DO NOT try ordering from this vendor if you want your flowers delivered in a reasonable time period, or if you expect any decent customer service experience.
Save yourself some time, effort and money and AVOID ordering anything from Flower Station.
Having placed and paid for an order for same-day delivery, Flower Station did not deliver the item ordered. They were also entirely unresponsive via email and telephone, when I first inquired about the status of my order and later, repeatedly (over the course of 2 weeks), asked for a refund.
Luckily, I paid for this non-service via PayPal, who were able to claim back a refund for me. So I at least have my money back, but am still awaiting an explanation and apology from this clearly shoddy company.
AVOID, or, if you do want to order, make sure you pay using a credit card or PayPal, so that you can claim your cash back when they completely ignore you!
Ordered the flowers online at 1am it the morning on Valentines Day and they arrived promptly the same day. The cost a small fortune (and £10 delivery) but were absolutely fantastic and my wife was moved to tears so I have to say worth every penny. Sometimes it's worth paying for quality.
As my local flower shop, I have been using the Flower Station for the past year. Last Sunday, I placed an order via the website. I received my order confirmation that day, but no flowers turned up. I called the office and was told that the non-delivery was a result of a 'technical' fault at their end.
I used to hold this firm in the highest regard, but I would not trust them again.
4 days post birthday and still no flowers. Have to repeat the entire story every time I call them as they can't keep track of the situation, or pass on messages within the company.
I had to ask for an apology.
I am now cancelling the order, if they are able to find any record of it.
I would have liked a confirmation that my flowers had been sent, but I visited my friend (the recipient) in hospital yesterday and saw them! She said everyone had commented on the scent. I liked the slightly unusual selection on your site - have often driven past the store in NW1 and thought it looked interesting! I didn't want run of the mill flowers but also didn't want to pay a premium for designer flowers - just wanted something more interesting than chrysanths or roses. My friend is in the Wellington Hospital up the road so I thought it was best to order locally.
I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law from the Flower Station as her birthday was on a Sunday and Interflora don't deliver on a Sunday. I was happy to pay the extra charge to have them delivered on the day.
The flowers didn't arrive. I emailed on Monday to find out what had gone wrong and received no reply.
Eventually, when my mother-in-law was leaving for work on the Tuesday morning she found the flowers left on the steps outside her house, she'd been in since the evening before and no attempt had been made to knock on the door and present the flowers to her personally.
I'm really disappointed in this company, their website is great and everything looks so promising at the start, I only wish I'd read the reviews from other unsatisfied customers before placing my order.
Next time, I'll use Interflora, even if it means having the flowers delivered a day earlier if required on a Sunday.
The flowers were excellent quality, and so many could only just fit them in a vase. Some flowers were substituted for alternatives due to the season. My only negative point would be that i ordered for a morning delivery and they were delivered at lunchtime, but this was only an issue as my girlfriend who these were for was leaving work after lunch
I ordered my flowers on Monday morning at 11.00 - they were delivered to my girlfriend at 4.00pm the same day
When i called to ask that flowers be delivered before 6.00pm the lady on the other end of the phone could not have been more helpful
I ordered flowers (2 bouquets) from the website a week in advance, to be delivered on a Sunday. I even paid extra to have the flowers delivered in the morning. I asked in my buying notes if it would be possible to have the flowers dfelviered before 2pm, which is still allowing time if they were going to be late. 2pm isn't actually the morning after all! (I got no answer to this.)
I was ordering them for my bridesmaids, following my hen do the night before as a thank you. They were meant to be a lovely surprise in the morning.
But they never showed. It started to press on to midday so thought I would ring to see where they were and if they would make the delivery before 2pm. We were all going out for lunch and then my bridesmaids were going home, so I really needed them before 3pm at the latest.
I rang the customer services and was put through to the shop. The woman on the other end did not speak very good English and there were a few communication problems. She told me that the driver should be there within the hour and that he was stuck in traffic. But I was assured he would be with us soon.
I told the lady my mobile number and asked her to pass it on to the driver, as we were going to be around the corner having lunch. I said if he arrived and no one was there, to give me a call as I was only around the corner and could go pick up the flowers from him easily enough. She promised she would do this.
Time rolled on and still no flowers. Now it was getting close to 3pm and we were finishing our lunch. I got my fiance to ring them up and ask where they were and he was just told they would be with us soon.
I finally had to admit defeat at half three as the girls had to go. I admitted what I had tried to do and then apologised to them both. I was very upset as this was the only thing I had done to say thank you to the both of them. They were understanding of course, but it was still rather upsetting.
I then had my fiance call up and say that we didn't want the flowers any more.
However, this time he rang up he spoke to someone who was actually helpful. I can't remember the man's name, but he was so lovely and apologetic. He told us that the drievr's van had broken down, but they were attempting to get a car out to make the deliveries. We told him we still didn't want the flowers as it was too late, but he completely understood. He told us that there would be a full refund (although I haven't checked if this has gone through yet) and that the next time we order from them to call up and speak to him and he would give us a free bouquet!
So at least there was some saving grace (hence the two stars rather than zero), but this was still unacceptable. Not sure if I want to use them again... And from the sounds of the other reviews, missing and late orders are fairly common. Maybe I should have checked out reviews on here first.
Ordered flowers from abroad to an address in London three times so far. Third time flowers did not get delivered on the reuested day since the driver was given wrong instructions and did not bother to call the recipient. Two out of three times is not very reliable. Will take my orders somewhere else next time.
