Quick and easy insurance (iphone5 / ipad mini)
I can only comment on the process to sign up for the insurance as I have not had to claim yet. This is a little concerning as really you don't know how good an insurance provider is until you make a claim.
The process to sign up is dead simple with options narrowed down to fewer options that you'd expect. There are no options to select specific features of your iphone and manually typing "iphone 5 white 32gb" seems a bit strange.
I've used the site for both my iphone and ipad mini and there were no hitches.

minor problem rectified quickly
Had a problem with the amount claimed via direct debit. One phonecall sorted it and a refund was soon in the post.

Seems like good insurance at good price
I chose them on price. I have received the policy by email. I have not had to use the service luckily but hope that they are ok should I damage my phone.

Easy to buy Insurance
It was easy to buy the insurance for my new BlackBerry Z10, the website was well laid out &easy to use. I can't say how the claim service is as I only just got the phone. So the review only speaks about the cover offered & the buying process.

Good cover, great price. Read the terms and conditions before purchase. Hopefully I won't need to claim, but the extra star to 5 stars will come if the service when claiming will be a good one.

Cheap but will it work?
In the space of 10 minutes I saw an i-pad and a tablet get destroyed at my children's music school so I thought I should cover ours. I bought my Kindle in America so no insurance company will touch that, because it is so different. For my Nexus I went with Gadget Cover as the least worse choice of many options. They took my money and then some other company emailed with a policy, so they are just a sales front for someone else. Are they any good, how will I know unless something goes wrong? I hope I never have to find out.

Excellent customer service!
I had a couple of separate problems after buying my policy online and both were sorted out swiftly and efficiently by named advisors. One involved getting a refund of money paid and this was done at the speed of light! Can't fault it!

I was annoyed with Gadget Cover as 13 days in after setting up my cover,they had not sent me any policy details, which leaves you no time to take advantage of the 14 day cooling off period
After 13 days and 3 irate emails they finally sent me my details, which does not fill me with any confidence if I ever need to make a claim.

Quick and easy to set up.
I bought an Eeepad, and thought Id do an extended service and warranty with them,
after a lot of messing about I cancelled,
and found Gadget cover and set it up with no problem, I hope the service is as good should I need them.

Terrible! Don't use them, they don't pay!
iPhone 4S was stolen and the insurers refused to pay out! They have relied on the wording of their agreement to defend their position at appeal. Their agreement uses a very narrow definition of 'unattended', which is unreasonable and I believe legally incorrect. Beware! They will rely on this not to pay out!

fair price with excellent cover

Lacking
When I bought the insurance cover I was told that a policy would be sent out to me in a few days. It never arrived even after I contacted gadget Insurance it has not arrived almost a month.
I only realised that money had been deducted of my account this means that I was not given a chance in case I considered cancelling the policy.

Why have I had 17 confirmation emails, and I'm not 100% sure if I am actually covered.
This company was recommended on the Tesco website so I thought I would try it. Prices seemed competitive so I took a chance. Since I paid I've had at least 17 conformation emails, I contacted customer support and was told their IT department was looking into it, I've not heard any more. I sent another email today to customer support and have received 5 more conformation emails today alone, which is now getting very annoying. I don't even know if I am covered or not. I hope so.
The start of the process was smooth and quick, I liked that, but all these emails is just getting beyond a joke.

Sneaky terms and conditions
I purchased the phone I insured from a store on eBay. 6 months later I lost the phone and tried to file a claim but guess what.... they don't cover phones purchased from an eBay store, even though I had a receipt for it.
There are other tricks in the terms and conditions.... nobody reads them, but I guess if you pick an alternative provider like this one, you do have to read them.

Should be easier to renew!
I'm happy with the insurance but since they already have my details and agreement number, and emailed a reminder, I don't see why I had to re-enter all my basic information before payment.
Otherwise the rest of the process was painless.

Easy Peasy and Cheap !!!
I have just got my first expensive smart phone and thought I had better insure it seeing as my daughter recently had hers stolen out of her bag in the supermarket.
All I wanted was simple cover for theft, loss or damage, and it couldn't have been simpler. There were very minimal questions to answer and the whole process was quick, and very reasonably priced compared to other firms. They also gave me a free 3 month trial for The Gourmet Society, which entitles you to two meals for the price of one at some very nice restaurants, one of which is close to me.
All in all, a good experience !

Great customer service dept, but a shame I needed to use it
A bit of a mixed experience: renewing the policy after a year looked easy, but the price quoted in the 'Valid for 30 days' quote wasn't what came up on the website when I followed the link. It would have been easy either to give in and pay the extra - not easy to find insurance for a 1-year-old laptop, after all - but I emailed the company instead. Very prompt response, and the problem was sorted out. Not a problem, then - mistakes happen ... but it left me wondering how many other people had the same experience and didn't question it?

very poor service
poor service from start to finish. staff do not no what they are doing. made to feel like a criminal for trying to make a claim. very slow service (2 weeks since i made claim and still dont have a phone) but they always take there money on time from me!!!!
